I’ve had no problem using this app. I LOVED it For my personal inquire and my hobbies. Until now. You have to get a monthly/yearly subscription. for the same features I’ve been using for all along for free. I am not paying for a premium version that is THE SAME as the old free version. I get it. Business needs to make money. But asking $7.99 a month for the features I had access to a few days ago is not worth it. Nothing premium about it or worth it to me. If premium version offered only new features and the free was the same as it has been. I might be interested. I would love to be able to use these app more. But unfortunately I’m using it a lot less.

Kind of tired of being promised wonderful things and never receiving them when it comes to the mobile environment. I was shocked the app was free and the card was only $15, only to realize Pantone is going to charge you $29 a year for the privilege of using an app that works poorly. I could see if they are no longer going to make the chips but they charge you an immense amount of money for a fan wheel of paper and now they’re going to charge you to use an app that works poorly. What do they spend all their money on? Certainly not app and software development. They need to go to Apple or an equivalent superior app developer to get it working correctly.

You’d think that a brand as large and well funded as Pantone would be able to keep their apps in decent shape, but boy howdy, that just doesn’t at all seem to be the case. The extension on Adobe software is usable about 1 out of every 5 times, and the app is totally useless without a “premium” subscription. There was a free Pantone cross reference tool available online, but I guess Pantone wanted more of that tasty tasty cash, so they removed that free feature and replaced it with this mess. Completely ridiculous that you’d ask for money suddenly for a feature you had free for years. Garbage.
