Probe Bluetooth works, app is mostly useless

2024-01-10

The only thing this is useful for is remotely checking in on ambient temp/meat temps. That’s literally it. If you want more out of a Bluetooth probe, buy something else.

App needs significant polishing. The graph is broken, estimated time left is useless, there are 119 different alarms to choose from and they’re all the same 15 alarms. Bugs with multiple/endless alarm sounds. Can’t silence alarms from the Lock Screen. Can’t silence out of ThermoProBBQ . For temp alarm ranges, set up a wide berth lest you deal with your low temp alarms going off every time you spritz/mop/glaze. Alarm will not silence outside of ThermoProBBQ , enjoy waking up those around you with an ear piercing alarm that’s difficult to turn off and won’t stop

For the moment

2024-06-21

Not five stars yet, but it is a potential if I can ever figure out how this thing works. I am tied to my phone. It pairs easily and solidly. I know this because when I walk out of range my phone alarms insanely to let me know the contact has been lost. So, why only one star? Because that is as far as I get. No temperature showing, just three lines on the orange box and no temperature showing on my iPhone. Now, I have gotten the rare report of temperature now and then but I haven’t a clue how or why it appears. So no visual information. But it does work. When it reaches temperature it will tell me but not show me and it’s always a surprise because it shows nothing. So I continue to struggle.

Additionally, the connection is better but alarms seem to go off with no real association with the target figure. I am still using the thing.

App needs to be updated

2024-05-28

If ThermoProBBQ worked as it is designed it would be pretty good (not great - see below). But the switches that toggle Alarms on/off do not do anything. That’s my major gripe. Just make those switches actually turn the alarm off. Yes, I have the latest version of ThermoProBBQ .

Also there is a “time remaining” feature that has some consistency issues. What I mean is that right now I have two probes in a piece of meat. They both show the same temperature and both are using the same setting/target temperature . But one shows 45 minutes remaining and the other shows 1hour 25 minutes remaining. Hmmm?

To make ThermoProBBQ “great” create a computer app (a way I can connect the transmitter to my laptop). That I could then access from my phone. Sometimes I’m out running errands on a Saturday and want to know if the meat I’m smoking is getting close or if I have time to do a few more things before heading home.

The phone App is useless

2024-03-03

ThermoProBBQ and alarm for the phone is absolutely useless. Some of the temperatures in ThermoProBBQ are set to incorrect temperature alarms. For example ground beef the alarm is set to go off at 160° industry standard is 155° why the extra 5° then? Also none of the alarms and corresponding temperatures account in any way for carryover. For instance if I have a 15 pound prime rib roast. I want to pull it at a considerably earlier than I would pull a 6 pound prime rib roast the way ThermoProBBQ is set up with the temperatures and alarms is ridiculous. There should just be a simple way to put your own temperature in instead of having to select from all different categories of meat to find your temperature that you want to pull your product at.

Alarms are the worst

2024-08-09

ThermoProBBQ is generally nice but the alarms are horrendous and the single but important reason I give it one star. By default alarms are enabled but it doesn’t use notifications and just beeps continually and loudly until you manually find ThermoProBBQ . You then are presented with a very confusing UI trying to figure out how to shut it up. I never want this style of alarm. I don’t know who would.

Even worse is that there is a disconnect from Bluetooth alarm that is just unreliable and dumb. So dumb that this alarm went off ONE DAY later after I used the device and woke me up at 3 AM! Will never ever recommend this until they get their act together programming this garbage.

No one wants alarms. If you are grilling you should be checking on the grill regularly anyway. They should certainly not be enabled by default.

Leaves something to be desired.

2024-05-11

ThermoProBBQ works great… so long as the device you have connected never leaves the property…. Apparently the to-25 will shut itself off after a certain time not connected to its app…

So if you accidentally close it, no alerts… and you may even have to go back to the device to turn it back on.

Losing the cook history when closing ThermoProBBQ is not a great feature either. It should keep the graphs and temp history until I “stop” the cool with a button press. May require the to-25 to actually cache its temp information for this to work, so you can reconnect and get the missing info from when connection was lost/app was closed

This app needs improvement

2024-06-25

I hope they didn’t spend too much money developing ThermoProBBQ, because I could write an app of this quality with 1 day of effort. They need to fire the engineer who wrote ThermoProBBQ .

The y-axis of the temperature graphs doesn’t scale. I’d like to see both probes’ temperature graphs on one screen, rather than flipping between the two.

It’s be nice if the temperature probes communicated over BLE rather than Bluetooth classic, but that would be a hardware change. You can get combo wifi/ble chips for just a few dollars these days, so putting that in the hardware would be simple.

Limited

2023-08-01

I have not had the opportunity to use my new probe/app yet. I have owned another probe that used an app in the past. I am disappointed with ThermoProBBQ ’s limited abilities.

What I mean by that is that similar apps offer differentiation between types/cuts of meat to determine best cooking temperatures for a filet vs a strip vs a tomahawk steak. Also differentiating quality of meats - like wagyu as you want to cook this differently then a prime due to the marbling. Here you can just select the meat type - poultry vs meat etc. The added custom options would be nice.

Fair, could be phenomenal!

2024-06-09

Bought this product on a whim as I had four pork butts to do at once and wanted to monitor them all at the same time. Setup was easy. Color coding was fine although the white probe’s cable is too short for the holder. The alarms take a while to get used to. Seems like even after you acknowledge the alarm it continues to go off both on the phone and device. The time remaining feature is hot garbage and not even worth trying to explain it. The graph is awesome. My only complaint with it is that if you accidentally close ThermoProBBQ , the graph starts over…that one change alone would warrant a 4 star rating. The overall look and feel of ThermoProBBQ is fine just those minor tweaks and this would be a solid system.

Smooth experience, needs a few things

2024-04-20

The connectivity between my iPhone and the hub has been flawless. Switch through the menus and going back to other apps has been as smooth as slicing into the perfect Brisket.

I appreciate the lack of user data needed to get up and running, gives me a lot of confidence my data isn’t being farmed.

There are a few improvements I’d love to see (somewhat expected when i bought the thermometer).

1. Save my cook history, even if it’s just the last 5 cooks. Let me save them and export them. (Main reason i gave ⭐️⭐️⭐️instead of ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
2. As above, help me export my cooks in some format so i can keep a log of how I’ve done over time.
3. Allow me to set vertical “event markers” on the graphs. This will allow me to mark important moments in a cook, like “opened to add sauce” or “ran low on fuel”
4. Let me type in the temperatures on setting menu. It’s too difficult to get an exact number with how sensitive it is. (Maybe add haptic feedback as well?)
5. Support a compressed view or something that would allow all of the probes to be on the screen at once. I’m on an iPhone 13 Pro Max and cannot see all four probes.

I’ve been thermopro user for sometime, even gifting a few, ThermoProBBQ with the thermometer is solid and has room to get even better.

A little buggy

2024-04-07

I’ve had a ThermoPro thermometer and used ThermoProBBQ for about a year and it’s emboldened me to do excellent roasts, smoked briskets, and even monitor my fridge for holding temperature during a power outage. So yes, basic functionality is there. But there are a few issues I’ve run into.

ThermoProBBQ does not continuously run, but rather times out and stops taking readings. So when I have a long and slow cook I lose the first 12 hours and maybe get to view the last 2.

The estimated time to completion is a great idea in theory but is terrible in execution. When my food has gone up 1 degree in the past 30 minutes, ThermoProBBQ will tell me it will make the next 100 degree jump in 6 minutes.

Perhaps an issue with the thermometer rather than ThermoProBBQ , but sometimes the thermometer turns off after idling, so you can’t really set and forget. You have to keep coming back to ThermoProBBQ or the cooking apparatus to check everything is still working like you expected it to.

If these things got fixed, I could do so much more while a cook, with confidence.

Unit works great. App not so much

2024-04-10

So the ThermoPro I got works just great. Bluetooth range could be better but it’s fine. ThermoProBBQ however…. Start with the good. Temp readings are very accurate. Alarm is nice and loud. Simple to set temp or time alarms. But the bad. First off the estimated time to temp feature might as well not exist. It takes it forever to show any number and that number is almost always nowhere near accurate until you are within five-ten minutes of the time. Pretty useless if you are trying for an overnight long hours cook. It’s easier to estimate the time yourself just looking at the graph. Takes me to point 2. The graph. Not really useful other than trying to guess the finish time. Would be nice if ThermoProBBQ showed quick look numbers on the Lock Screen. Also would be nice if it could adjust for dark mode. And the alarms need to just go off even if the temp goes below the set point for a second. Like it will hit temp for a second, sound the alarm. While you silence the alarm it goes down two degrees. Then goes back up and sounds the alarm again. This can happen a number of times before you get to the grill. Just some suggestions.

LOVE it!!! Not so fast . . .

2024-04-10

This was my original impression “out of the box.”After “suffering” with my BGE monitor for years, bought this during one of Amazon’s Prime Day’s (then forgot about it for over a year). Just started using it for a brisket. So unbelievably easy to setup. WOW! No user manual in the box, but easy enough to figure out. Imagine there’s one online. 3 hours into cooking a brisket, I’m less impressed. The advertised range is nothing close to the advertised “up to 650 feet.” While walking in and out of my house and/or working (almost or mostly line of sight) roughly 75 feet or so away, I’m CONSTANTLY receiving “loss of connection” alarms between my iPhone and ThermoPro. That, in and of itself, is enough for me to downgrade significantly. I also question the temperature accuracy. My BGE was stable at 250 when I put one of the probes in to monitor the BGE temp. It took FOREVER to register even close to what the analog gauge indicated. Now that it’s been smoking at 240 (steady on the analog gauge) for 3 hours the probe measuring the Egg temperature is 28 degrees higher than the Egg gauge. Different locations of course, but that doesn’t explain a 28 degree disparity.

It works, sorta

2025-01-10

It tells the temp and most everything works fine on that front, but ThermoProBBQ has a few annoyances that kinda ruins the user experience.

Most all the words overlap buttons or other words, so it’s very difficult to read some of the numbers/messages. The “time left until done” calculator is a total joke. I’ve never had it even start counting until the food is about 5 degrees till done. Then it floats between 1 and 2 minutes until the food is done, and that can last a long time depending on how slow you’re cooking.

Need to keep foreground for continuous graph?!

2025-02-11

I knew before buying the unit that I had to keep ThermoProBBQ open or lose the graph history, thanks to reviews. But even when open, it doesn’t update in the background show the graph shows zero for anytime it isn’t in the foreground! I tried to turn on background app refresh for it, but that not a feature! That’s ridiculous. I can’t give up my phone everyone I want to smoke something for 16 hours. I may have to get a cheap device just to dedicate to running ThermoProBBQ.

Nice,but needs work.

2025-03-15

Nice to have on your devices. Needs work though. When selecting a custom sound, it’s a huge list labeled sound 1, Sound 2, etc. Not all of them play either. If you’re pulling the sounds from Apple or the sound library on the device then use the descriptive name.

Also when the temp alarm goes off, is there a way to put it to sleep for a custom interval? Not have to turn it off.

Lastly and most important is the time remaining. Flat out does not work. I get anywhere from 2 hours, after some time passes I get dashes, and most of the time stays that way until the alarm goes off.

Can’t you estimate the time, or keep estimating and update every 30 seconds or minute. If battery life is a concern, make it a selectable option to turn on higher resolution time estimates.

Other than that, love the product.

Good but improvements are required

2024-05-11

Overall my experience with the ThermoPro has been positive but there are a few things that should be addressed.

1) On iPhones without a home button it is too easy to accidentally close ThermoProBBQ and lose data from the cook. There should be a way to force manually clearing data instead of it being instantly lost.
2) The algorithm that computes cook time remaining is just bad. There are no other words. There is no way that with a grill temp of 250F and a a target of 160F that it should say I’ll jump 55F in 10 minutes.
3) It would be nice for you to save/export data and add events to the graphs.

Despite the above it is a pretty good app. It’s sets up in seconds and accurately displays temps without having to open the grill or even be near it; so it does the main thing well.

Thermometer GREAT! App not so much...

2024-06-11

ThermoProBBQ reports the temp very well. That’s fine. What I don’t like is the poor graphing to show me the history of the cook. I also lose that history of I accidentally close ThermoProBBQ . And the estimated time calculation doesn’t seem to be using any of the data being collected. For instance, while writing this, I’m smoking a pork loin at 236 degrees ambient temp. I have the max temp set for my meat at 145. It’s currently at 126. The estimated time from ThermoProBBQ says it should be done in 1m:24s! Completely unrealistic, even if my ambient temp was 400+! Let’s fix this!

It does what you bought it for

2024-05-24

I love ThermoProBBQ . It does a lot of extras I wasn’t expecting like I can keep notes on what I did for certain cooks, shows graphs of the temps for my smoker, etc. it’s an awesome app and product. And they collect absolutely no data from you too. I would go to five stars but I have some issues with my thermometer that is making ThermoProBBQ do some crazy things. Mainly getting a notification every 5 minutes because I’ve “disconnected” from the device even though I open ThermoProBBQ and it connects. Again, I think it’s an issue with my thermometer and not ThermoProBBQ .

It works as advertised , I’d buy it again

2024-05-18

Please, Please!!!!! Make it so you can acknowledge an alarm on the lock screen of a phone. It’s really annoying that I have to pull my phone out, put in my password, open ThermoProBBQ , and then acknowledge the alarm. This also leads me to my second complaint. There needs to be a setting where the user can select the time frame between being alerted for the same or multiple alarms. It’s again annoying to open the smoker, pull my phone out, put in my passcode, open ThermoProBBQ and acknowledge the alarm, just to close the smoker, pull my phone out, enter the passcode, open ThermoProBBQ and acknowledge the same alarm or parameter. See where I’m going with this. The graphing is ok but useless if you close ThermoProBBQ and lose all the data because the alarm won’t stop going off because you took the lid of the grill.... Would I by it again? Yes it works great. But ThermoProBBQ needs updated with improvements and more user settings, parameters, or adjustments. WiFi range is pretty good.

Works pretty well but......

2024-05-17

This system works well. Couple tweaks to make it perfect. First I do 19 hour cooks sometimes and there isn’t a way to zoom in on the graph to see temp differential. Also, I wish you could manually change the temp on the probe. Now I will tell you I haven’t plugged it into the computer to charge and see if there is a fix online so take that comment for what it’s work. I love the temp probes. They are heavy duty. I put on on each end of the grill and set my grill temp to the average of the two. I usually get a 15-20 degree difference. For the money buy it. Lastly, my history doesn’t go away with the iPhone 11 max. They have fixed this bug.

Works really well; estimated time to done could use help

2024-05-24

This thermometer and app combo work very well and it’s so nice to be able to check the temp of your cooking remotely from the comfort of your house. ThermoProBBQ is pretty basic looking, but it does what it’s intended so functionality is there, but aesthetics could use a little work. One thing that I REALLY hope they implement in an update is using the new Live Activity functionality in the new OS! That would be the icing on the cake if they implement this so you can always see the temp of your meat without even unlocking your phone! Please make this Live Activity update happen!!

Would love to see live activity support

2024-05-18

Solid app. A couple things I’d like to see that would take it to the next level would be live activity support so the temperature can be shown in the Dynamic Island/on the Lock Screen/always on display. That, and the temperature trend graph to have actual time on the x axis instead of just elapsed time. And the temperature trend line to have a slider to let you see recorded temperature and time recorded; it kind of has this feature currently but it’s not very friendly to use. If you really want to take it to the next lever, have ThermoProBBQ recognize when there is a sudden increase/decrease in temperature; essentially to warn you ahead of time when the derivative of the graph suggests that you’ll be out of your desired temperature range soon. These are super niche suggestions but just some things that I think would help out, coming from an engineering background where I work with similar graphs all day lol

Small fixes needed

2024-05-24

I’ve had mine for about a month and it’s the best thermometer I’ve used so far. The only things I’ve noticed that could be fixed are as follows.
1. The colors on ThermoProBBQ don’t match the colors on the probes and that’s only a minor inconvenience and will probably be fixed in a later update.
2. The estimated time tends to be 30-60 seconds slow and the counter gets to 00:00 and then jumps 5-10 seconds back and counts down again. Again not a huge deal.
All in all I’m very pleased with how the unit functions and having it on your phone definitely helps you stay on top of things.

Set it and forget it

2024-05-18

First of all I love how ThermoProBBQ helps me pretty much set it and forget it. Using an older offset smoker and sometimes a Weber to cook and with the Therm Pro it makes it easy to monitor temps. I don’t have to hover around the grill to see how things are doing.

Pro’s-

1. you can keep track of progress with the graph’s provided. Helps you to manage fluctuations in your temperatures.

2. Decent amount of meat options for the probes or allows you to add custom temp limits if the desired cooking choice isn’t listed.

3. The battery on the monitor last a pretty long time. I rarely have to charge it.

Cons-

1. If you close out ThermoProBBQ during cooking it resets the graphs and you loose the history. That is pretty annoying when you are smoking for hours.

2. It connects by Bluetooth. I have a decent sized backyard and with the house in the front and my grills in the back on the deck I loose connection when I need to go to the house. Wish it was on WiFi so wouldn’t loose connection.

3. I wish you can see more than one probe at a time on the graphs. If I have 3 probes going at the same time it would be nice to follow all three at the same time instead of having to choose each one individually.

Overall it’s a good app and does what you need it to do.

Much better than expected

2024-05-18

I read several reviews that noted numerous problems with disconnects and inaccurate probes. I decided to take a chance on the TP25 anyway. I did not experience any of the problems other reviewers described. The range was excellent (I was about 150ft away, through one exterior and three interior walls with no disconnects), probes were accurate, and alarms went off as programmed (I was alerted on my phone and Apple Watch). I’m very pleased.

That being said, there are some things ThermoProBBQ could do better, especially for use with a smoker. First, the temperature graphs show a maximum of eight hours, with no ability to scroll back or zoom out. Fixing this should be top priority for ThermoProBBQ team, as seeing the full temperature graph is important for understanding how the smoker is running and where the meat is in the cook. Second, being able to snooze an alarm for a few minutes would be wonderful. Opening the smoker lid always results in a temperature drop for the ambient probe, and the alarm trips constantly even after dismissed until the lid is closed and the temperature get back within the set range. Being able to snooze the alarm for five minutes would be more than sufficient. Hopefully ThermoProBBQ team can implement these changes.

Easy to use, needs a tweak or two to be perfect

2026-02-23

Absolutely love the ease of use and programming. Would love to see the way to overlay the ambient gradient chart any the meat probe. It would actually be more useful than the calculated remaining time due to errors that can't be accounted for in programming. ( taking the lid off to wrap causes errors that can't be avoided)
I'd also love to be able to adjust the calibration. Build-up causes issues on the ambient probe even after cleaning, but if the user could adjust based on their other equipment, it would be awesome.
Lastly, I would love if the techies could find a way to tie directly to the router so that I could leave and have it sent to my phone through the inner-web and not Bluetooth. True freedom!!

Not pretty but does what it needs to

2026-03-21

The UI is pretty bad. But once you get past that ThermoProBBQ works exactly as expected.

I love that when you have the probe in meat you are able to see the expected cook time remaining.

I do see random connectivity issues though. Sometimes it seems to connect from across the yard and others I need to be right next to the smoker. I don’t think that’s an issue with ThermoProBBQ but maybe with the unit I have.

Overall this has made my smoking experience a lot easier between always knowing my temps when I walk around the yard, to having projected remaining cook times. I recommend this product to everyone

One thing, please make an Apple Watch app. I would love to just check temps on my termapro from my watch instead of having to use my phone

Temperature logging function

2026-04-19

ThermoProBBQ works great as long as you are looking at the numerical values on the screen of your smart phone or on the LCD display of the unit.

But be careful with the temperature logging function which tries to produce a time versus temperature graph of each probe because it randomly will show that some of your probes managed to go down to 32°F while inserted into a 350° F oven which defies the laws of thermodynamics.

There is obviously an issue with the software‘s ability to record the temperature data from the Bluetooth transmitter.

Great product but needs a alarm snooze

2026-05-21

Bought this for Father’s Day I always overcook the meats and with two little babies running around the wireless feature with the alarm are super helpful not to have to be tied to the grill. We tried it for the first time and everyone loved how the chicken tasted !!!! Cooking at the right temp makes all the difference the only complaint is when the alarm goes off for being done it keeps going as long as it’s registering the temp it would be nice to have a snooze so you can probe the rest of the meat to make sure it’s all the way done.

90% good, useless time estimate

2026-08-02

As theflashdude posted last year, the time estimate when the food is done, based on the current probe vs target temperature. The developer response was to ask them to contact them directly. But the problem is still there. Target temp is 155, current of the pork roast is 98, but the estimate says it'll be done in 2 minutes. I don't think my oven goes to the 5,000 degrees required to get it to that temp that fast!

And, as others pointed out, the alarms go off whether you want or not.

Otherwise, ThermoProBBQ works very well.

Thermometers

2026-07-17

The thermometers were accurate and the program easy to use. The reason for the four stars and not five is I own two sets of these and they cannot be linked on one program. I have to run two different sources . That’s a big let down. For the average homeowner it’s fine, but for us in the field cooking large amounts of different meats it would be wonderful to be able to link at least 3 sets. Just my two cents

Works well but could use just a couple improvements

2025-09-26

I like pretty much like everything except that you can’t change the range that the ambient temp of the grill is in and it doesn’t automatically change the scale when your grill temp goes off the chart. Should also be able to save graphs from cooks and make notes on the graph about what you did so you can reference in the future.

Nice idea but a little glitchy operationally

2025-10-28

Device works well with the 4 probes. Bluetooth connectivity to phone fails if more than about 30 feet away, making the feature somewhat worthless as you move about during a several hour smoking process. Also, setting the target temperature does not always work well.

Minor issues.

2025-11-28

I’ve enjoyed this useful app. Only issues I’ve had in the 2months of use is….. 1st Phone disconnects from app the longer it stays on the more disconnects. 2nd Range states 650ft, but that’s clear line of sight. The more objects between you and Thermo the shorter the distance. I’ve managed this by putting phone at distance and then extending range with my Apple Watch. I would give it a 4.5 star rating and recommend it to anyone. “So Far”

Great system at a great price!

2024-01-10

This wireless BBQ thermometer system with two probes and a user-friendly app exceeded my expectations. The dual probes allowed me to monitor multiple meats simultaneously, ensuring perfect doneness. ThermoProBBQ 's interface was intuitive, providing real-time temperature updates and customizable alerts. The wireless range was impressive, allowing me to move around freely without losing connection. Overall, a reliable and convenient tool for grilling enthusiasts.

I heartily recommend this system over more expensive options like the Meater+.

Perfect for monitoring everything

2027-02-08

Been using this ThermPro 4 probe unit for over a year. Got it for smoking and grilling on the BGE. I can monitor ambient temperature while monitoring various meats that need different temperatures all at the same time. Sends me alerts when temps are approaching where I set them. Has four probes and each can be set using the easy app to its own alarm settings. Connects easily to you phone through Bluetooth and ThermoProBBQ and is easily customizable! Can’t recommend this enough. A must have for any grill or pit master.

Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt

2024-01-10

So I recently got a new ThermoPro meat thermometer, went to download ThermoProBBQ and saw several negative reviews about how it disconnects all the time. Now maybe there was an update that fixed this, but I think it is mostly user error. The product is Bluetooth with a 600ft range, and I know for me my smoker is in my garage 600 ft from my house. I didn’t have any connection unless I was either in my basement or on the far side of my house well out of the 600ft range and even then it would reconnect on its own as soon as it got a connection. ThermoProBBQ worked great I didn’t have to leave my home into -15 degree conditions until my pork loin was done smoking! It’s a life saver for those of us crazy enough to grill/smoke year round.

It just works

2024-01-10

I can count on my ThermPro it has been more accurate than any of my temp devices I’ve bought at local stores! I have a 2 Masterbuilt smokers, 3 Char-Grillers, Blackstone griddles, 2 fish cookers and turkey fryers!
This thing never drops out and temp is on the money! Some of my cookers have Bluetooth and are not stable for crap!
The ThermPro stays connected, setting are easily set up or changed and it’s always keeping an eye on my progress for me!

I love it with suggestions

2024-06-16

I love ThermoProBBQ I love the device it works great I only have two suggestions one make the body of the device with a heat shield of some sort and maybe a little thin layer of metal I don’t know because if you try to hang it on the edge of your grill the heat of the grill body melts it and distorts it and if you’re not careful it will stop functioning the second suggestion said it so it will work on a Wi-Fi when possible Bluetooth is great but if you go to the opposite corner of your house on a different floor you step out of range. For example my grill on my back patio is out of range if I’m sitting in my living room

Works as advertised! But with one gripe

2027-07-06

Works exactly as advertised, which is awesome! No connection issues, no performance issues, and is easy to navigate. The only issue I have with ThermoProBBQ is the estimated time left. Not a deal breaker at all, but since it has a graph on the temperature over time, a simple trendline would be more accurate than whatever method is used now. Just a suggestion. 5-star

Much better than I expected!

2026-07-05

Clean simple design, plenty of info well laid out. Pairs instantly & stays connected over very long range. Sends alerts for temperatures (settable for 0,5 or 10 degrees before target) and signal loss. Preset target temps for several kinds of meats, cuts & doneness. 3rd smart remote meat thermometer I’ve owned ( including previous ThermoPro) this by far the best, most versatile & accurate

Meat pro

2026-08-06

I’ve had this probe thermometer for about 8 months and have used it about 6 times. Works great, stick it and forget it. Bluetooth option is the best. Check my phone about once an hour just to see how it’s doing. I would highly recommend ThermoPro. When this one stops working I will definitely buy another.

I really liked this thermometer

2026-09-06

This thermometer worked beautifully the first time I used it on a chuck roast I was smoking for eight hours I even checked it against another instant read thermometer that I owned and it was very accurate.
It is very convenient to have the alarms so you can work i. The garden or other parts of the property and not miss a temp check
