App isn’t built as an app, it’s built as a webpage. This is the cheapest route for a developer and obviously they preferred the least expensive route.
That would be fine if you could save your login information but even the webpage is so poorly built that iOS cannot recognize the fields as login fields.
Also, in terms of security questions.. they’re all so specific.. I didn’t have friends growing up, didn’t go to college or apply to any, I lived in several houses growing up, I went to several different schools for 6th grade, I didn’t have a nickname as a kid (probably requires friends). And I don’t understand having ‘favorites’ for things like actors or musicians because my feelings towards them may be stronger based on my own feelings at that time or what I’m seeking to feel/experience.
I mean, cmon none of the questions even pertain to me, not even close.. I can’t be expected to remember any of their answers. You should allow custom security questions, where we create the question AND the answer. That would be a GREAT start in the right direction.
BMWGroupCreditCard has infuriated me.. and it’s not the first time. I avoid spending ANYTHING on my BMW CC because I don’t want to deal with BMWGroupCreditCard . This was the last time that broke the camels back and forced me to vent in a review.

The card is great, and I appreciate that there is now an app for it. BMWGroupCreditCard , however, is nothing like what you’d expect for today’s times. Doesn’t use Face ID, and instead of being optimized for a mobile experience it is basically just the card’s web portal but through an app. Basically no different than logging in with Safari
Now Face ID stopped working. It’s requiring me to go through all the steps to log in. No updates in 2 years. Come on man!
If the dev team is reading this, please add in a multi-factor authentication instead.
No Air Travel Benefits switching from VISA to MC!
I’ve been a BMW Ultimate Card (VISA) member for almost 20 years and enjoyed every benefit it provided, most importantly, the ability to use rewards points to purchase airline tickets. We lost that ability with the move to Master Card.
BMWGroupCreditCard makes you sign in every time you open it. Face ID never works and it takes you thru security feature each login. The PayPal connect needs to be deactivated, it never allows you to turn off the reminder
This is the worst app I have. It hasn’t changed in forever and it’s completely annoying in every way. Nothing has ever worked right. I’ve told the company several times before and they just don’t care LOL
BMWGroupCreditCard is the worst I have ever used. To think of the money they must be making they should be able to put out a decent app. It’s shockingly bad, difficult to use and the links seldom work. I may close my credit card and go elsewhere it’s so bad.
BMWGroupCreditCard is absolutely horrible I continuously have to delete and reinstall otherwise it will not work!! When you open BMWGroupCreditCard it’s just a blank screen that does not allow you to navigate through BMWGroupCreditCard at all. BMWGroupCreditCard need serious updates. It’s inefficiency makes it very annoying to say the least.
98% of the time Face ID doesn’t work especially when BMWGroupCreditCard receives a updates requesting you to input your ID and password that’s very annoying. It is also very annoying when BMWGroupCreditCard keeps crashing and bothering you to add someone to your account which is not going to happen people are losing their jobs and APR% are outrageous so stop being annoying and bothering people by adding someone to your account fix your app. Because of the issue with BMWGroupCreditCard I don’t use the card can’t take the chance of destroying my credit.
I would give BMWGroupCreditCard 0 stars if I could. How doss a company that sells luxury goods and cares so much about their brand allow this interface. It fails 90% of the time, resetting a password requires an insane amount of effort, Face ID does not work, the list goes on and on.
BMWGroupCreditCard is so bad, it almost feels fraudulent and as if I was buying a Toyota but calling it a BMW.
I’ve been using BMWGroupCreditCard for over a year and it doesn’t seem like the developer has bothered to address any of the bugs BMWGroupCreditCard has. That being said, after a couple uses BMWGroupCreditCard no longer works and you have to delete it and reinstall it. It is such a hassle and not worth the aggravation.
You’re not able to click some of the text elements, including every element on the enrollment page. To make matters worse, you can’t even use the mobile version of the website to enroll your card either because the radio buttons don’t work. Have to use a desktop computer to enroll your account before you can even use this application.
BMWGroupCreditCard consistently doesn’t recognize my sign-in information. Consistently requiring to contact customer service for a biometric log-in is ridiculous. The only saving grace is that customer service is able to rectify the issue, however after a few days, it’s the same issues. I recommend all app users to use the actually website instead of this.
It’s boggles my mind that no money or time had been put into improving BMWGroupCreditCard since January 2023 according to the update data on this page.
This is an extremely poor partnership BMW has decided to get into as the service of this application is a representation of its brand. Although the card has halfway decent rewards and the the card itself is high quality, the customer service and system support are highly lacking in this day in age.
BMWGroupCreditCard looks and feels like it was built in 2016 at best. Absolutely horrible.
This is absolutely disappointing that I have to reboot my phone each time I want to use BMWGroupCreditCard. Fix the darn thing please!! People have been complaining for over a year
Sure, BMWGroupCreditCard lets me do the things I need to do with a credit card app but why can’t I log in without having to restart BMWGroupCreditCard each time and re-enter my credentials each time? Why isn’t faceID working.
The user experience is really no different than using a mobile version of the regular website. It’s more of a bookmark than an actual application.
BMWGroupCreditCard can be so much better please and thank you.
What is going on with BMWGroupCreditCard ??? It works!!! It doesn’t work!!! At times when I click on BMWGroupCreditCard it’s white out. I have to delete BMWGroupCreditCard and install it again a few times a month. Come on!! Fix it already!!!
The new card has some nice upgrades and it's nice to have an app now. I don't know why another reviewer mentioned you can't use points for airfare anymore. You can redeem for flights right on BMWGroupCreditCard ! The cards earn more points too.
