Follow these steps to resolve intermittent Reno app issues:

Force Stop the Reno App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click Reno app. » click "Force Stop".

Update Reno to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Reno App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "Reno app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch Reno.

Fix Reno unable to contact server/ Reno internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click Reno » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got Reno » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Reno on android.

We discontinued Reno because the official reddit client was great, it made no sense for us to make another reddit client. Our goal is to make the best reddit client for iOS, and we will roll out more features in the coming months. After years of thinking, we are finally able to design an app with a super clean user interface, meanwhile make it as powerful as the official app.
