I Was In An Car Accident While In A Empower Ride On 12/19/2022. As Of 12/31/22 Empower As Responded Once Since I Reached Out. I Have Medical Bills That Need To Be Paid And I Missed 3 Days Of Work Due To This Matter. No one Has Offered Any Help. It Took 2 Days To Get An Initial Response Absolutely Inconsiderate And Unprofessional.
I'm waiting to be cleared, can't sign up for weeks now.

No one picks up the call when you need customer service and when you leave a message they typically take days to reply assuming you have a problem with your ride be it within the day or night there’s no one to talk to. Bad business

I have been driving for Empower for close to one year now and my experience is near excellent!
I like the surge notifications and the option that a driver can set his own rates/surge fare. The customer service is good and friendly. The driver appreciation zoom meetings give drivers the opportunity to interact with Empower staff to address concerns. The referral program is great too.
Though there’re minor glitches on the app which would require tweaks and improvements moving forward such as alternative routes and the app theme which need to have a night mode feature when you drive at night there’s too much white glare on the current theme.
Navigation sometimes takes me to the back instead of the front building of some pick up locations.
Ridership is low in certain areas of the DMV while sometimes pick ups are far away for me.
Overall Empower is a great ride share I will recommend to anyone any day. On a good day I drive less hours yet make a high earning than I would have when I drive Uber/Lyft. This is the part that I love most as both wear and tear on human and vehicle is very minimal. Keep it up Empower!

I have been driving Uber for 5 years and hate driving for them. They take 40% of my money and also customer service is horrible. Now with empower I keep all of the money from my rides and I am going to be able to send my kids to college. All drivers need to be driving with Empower!
