Devon is the truth!

There was an emergency or some sort with an instructor. One of the new and amazing instructors had to finish teaching his morning classes and chose to stay in the studio instead of going home in West Hollywood.

We students waited outside for the doors to open and when they did not begin to worry about the instructor. One of the students knocked on the window while a few more looked through the windows to see if anyone had fallen on the floor. Devin heard the knock from the back and came outside.

He listened with compassion, apologized for the inconvenience and step into leadership. He said not to worry HE would teach the class. He made us laugh sooth everyone.

The class was AMAZING!

He was attentive, kind, and very clear in his instructions. He gave options for levels of a challenge but ALWAYS put safety first.

I am new to this discipline. Because of Devon’s compassionate leadership, I'm inspired to take more classes and challenge myself to include more advanced-level classes as well.

Devon is the truth. He is kind, professional, and a loving leader. This organization is lucky to have him. Thank you Devon for stepping in today. You are exquisite.

Shuts down

As i am inputting my info (name/phone/email) ClubPilates keeps shutting down; also when attempting to select my home studio it doesn’t allow me to select- it searches and finds the home studio (Campbell) but then doesn’t have an option to choose that studio, only an option to call them.

Something I remember missing from the prior app that i would have liked to see is the option to select which date i would like to view for class schedule, instead of having to scroll and scroll thru the entire month in order to find the date i am looking for.. it would be nice to be able to jump straight to it.

Besides ClubPilates , i think requiring a twelve hour cancellation notice is absurd, especially when offering classes as early as 330 & 430pm, to where we would have to wake up before 3 and 4am in order to cancel.. other studios have an 8 hour window, which is obviously far more reasonable. I do enjoy the classes, but life happens, and its ridiculous to have to charge a fee AND lose the class (if you are on a 4- or 8-class per month membership)

Great ideas - booking classes execution needs improvement

This is a pretty good app. The main purpose for me using it is to view the class schedule which is nicely laid out, and mainly, to book into the class. If you look at the classes d’or the day in the lost and click the BOOK blue tab on the side, it clicks and you might think that you have booked the class. If the pop up for add it to your calendar doesn’t come up, you did not book in. So you have to physically click on the class, which takes you to that page and click book there. Sometimes it works the first time, and sometimes it doesn’t. Please allow for one click to book wherever you have the opportunity to book, and then if you can have a setting to say, “I would like to auto add it to my calendar upon booking.” That way it is one step. BOOM. You’ve BOOKED! This makes me mental for a scheduling app to not have the functionality to actually schedule.

For multiple classes in a day, it’s just OK

There seems to be some progress on making this new app more user friendly, however, it would be great if ClubPilates did some things for members who might be inclined to take multiple classes/day or from different studios. First: Great addition to having all classes in a list, however any day where multiple classes are booked, they should ALL be under that day’s ‘heading’, not under separate headings (the current design makes it easy to miss a second class on a single day). Also, on the list, the location should be visible - not just name of class/teacher. Finally - on the calendar view, for days were a class is booked and you currently have a single “dot” under that date, how about adding a 2nd (or even 3rd if possible) DOT to reflect at a glance that there are 2 (or 3) classes booked that day. Seems like all of these suggestions above would make the user experience more effective and accurate as well as save time and missed classes.

Love the classes but the app needs some work

Love the convenience of scheduling classes and seeing live changes. I have some feedback on UI / UX after using the mobile app for a month now.

1. It’s really confusing and irritating how the days shift to the left on the classes screen. As a user I’m used to seeing the calendar start on a Sunday- better yet let me choose how to view.

2. Wish I was able to expand the weekly view to a monthly view on classes to see which days i have booked. Instead of switching back and fourth.

3. Would love to see my history of classes stay so I can track the days I’ve attended.

4. Filtering by class - would be very helpful in addition to instructors filter we already have.

5. Let “unlimited pack” users book more than 14 classes at a time!

6. Consider adding feedback button in ClubPilates .

7. Notify users last hour of cancellation (to avoid penalizing)

8. Group same day classes together, in the schedule screen, instead of separating them. It’s visually confusing - if you’re scanning quickly. I double booked accidentally , bc of this and was penalized.

9. Being able to sync Apple Watch workout summary on the “Me” Screen as a dashboard would be really nice- such as heart rate, duration, calories burned etc.

A Seventy three year old & Club Pilates?!

I am 73 with knee & lower back issues and have lost flexibility. I also have osteopenia. When I was invited by a friend to an intro class I accepted because I knew I needed something! I felt so good after the class I signed up with their “unlimited” package. I figured I needed to become completely committed . So I have been 5 times each week now for 3 weeks. I can actually touch my toes, have more energy, and can tell my core is stronger because I am not having difficulty climbing stairs. This has become my first priority over other activities & I am so thankful for the flexibility, resistance & core strength that are being developed!!

easy to use, but force closes

basically the same as the pure barre app (same owner company XPO so makes sense).

the only things i’m having issues with are 1) ClubPilates on my apple watch only lets me see my booked/upcoming classes and start the workout when it’s time - i thought i’d be able to check in and do more with ClubPilates on my apple watch, 2) i’ve taken a total of four classes in my class history - when i click on my first and third classes it lets me see the full class stats in a larger view, but when i click on the second and fourth classes to view the class stats in a larger view ClubPilates just force closes, 3) it won’t save my weight information even after i hit save.

Club Pilates is the Best Fitness Workout

The reformer-based style of Pilates taught at Club Pilates Alameda has greatly improved my strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, energy, posture, and mood! The reformer is a padded, movable platform that you move by pushing or pulling against light or heavy springs — great resistance training that keeps your bones strong!
The Club Pilates Alameda studio is new, modern, and pristine clean — now more than ever. The instructors and staff are highly skilled, knowledgeable and gently rigorous. If you are not athletic or competitive but want a solid fitness program that makes you feel great, Club Pilates is ideal. You will love a workout that starts you out AND finishes lying down!

Extremely limited functionality & poor user experience

I liked the Club Pilates OnDemand app, because I could download it on my Fire Stick and play the videos directly on my TV to follow along. However, Club Pilates OnDemand has been replaced by Club Pilates GO within the scheduling-based Club Pilates 2.0 app (which already had it’s own problems.) Now the only options to access the videos are from a web browser or smartphone — and neither offers an Airplay option to stream to the TV, which greatly reduces the appeal and practicality of using the videos. I think it was a very poor decision to move forward with launching this new platform during a pandemic when people are heavily relying on virtual workouts while their gyms and studios are closed. If you’re going to introduce a new platform, it should have added features and functionality, not less than the previous version.

Pilates literally changed my life

I am a member of the Boynton Beach, Florida Club Pilates. The Manager and her team that run this franchise on a daily basis are not only kind and gracious, but helpful and very concerned that their members are happy with their experience. Each and every instructor has brought their uniqueness and patience to teach a person like me how to use my body in an exercise environment without hurting myself.

I started going to Pilates because I have a torn rotator cuff and as I’ve aged, I’ve developed hereditary arthritis. Pilates has helped me lose 24 pounds combined with a healthy plant based diet, it is also helping me tone my body and strengthen all the muscles that were atrophying because I had stopped exercising.

I am so grateful to have found this modality of exercise which in turn has helped me lead an active and productive lifestyle and for this I will be eternally grateful. Thank you Club Pilates for making this affordable and helping me attain this level of health.
Namaste 🙏🏻

App needs improvement

I love the classes and being a club member. However, ClubPilates is frustrating. I get alerts that my class is starting soon (when I haven’t signed up for a class). I would get an alert, but check my calendar of classes and not see anything. I called the club to confirm and I was not signed up for a class. So his is confusing as I never want to lose a credit or be a no-show. Secondly, signing up for a class is not easy. Apparently there is a 2 step process. I signed up for a class and thought it was booked bc I clicked to book and confirmed I didn’t have COVID symptoms. I thought I was done but it didn’t book me. Now I’ve lost my spot. This should be so much easier.

Pain in joints got better!

When I started Club Pilates, I was having knee and ankle discomfort.
More like pain, I was seeing a chiropractor and all he did was scrub my leg with this metal spoon, he was trying to smooth out my fascia I suppose. However I needed something more efficient. I was training at the time and my trainer suggested Pilates. So I’m glad I did..I went and within a month I was on my way to recovery. My knees didn’t hurt anymore and the pain in my ankle went away.
Pilates is a low impact way of exercising and it’s great! I’m totally sold and recommend for any age!

App does not work

Have been member since Denville studio opened and have loved HOWEVER since ClubPilates changed it has not worked for me. I am able to view class schedule but not sign up. App does not show I have the package purchased. At studio instruction I have deleted and redownloaded app MANY times and still does not work. This is a software malfunction that needs to be addressed. Getting extremely frustrated that local studio does not have the technical resources to get help and fix. Who is responsible for app functioning ?? When I tap “help with app” am directed to the studio who has tried many times to reset without being able to fix problem. Really enjoy Club Pilates but cannot continue without being able to sign up for class without having to text or call. Please help!!!

Weekly attendance bar chart

The point of the chart is to display the number of classes attended each sequential week, each week starting Sunday and ending Saturday. This would allow one to easily see the trend graphically. Unfortunately, each chart only displays one specific month’s attendance. The point of the chart is defeated when some weeks are divided into two bars because part of the week falls in one month and second part belongs to the subsequent month. A better design would allow weekly or monthly bar charts that allow scrolling forward or backward in time by left/right swipes.

Feeling Like I’m Back

I was active and fit until 12 years ago. Hurt my shoulder and stopped the routine to heal, but was never able to recapture the mindset to start again.
Now I’m almost 70, and was worried that I’d hurt myself if I returned to the gym. My wife and daughter tried a CP class and liked it. So I tried one myself, loved it, and joined the Club. It was a great choice. I look forward to the classes each day. The instructors are top notch, helpful, and keep a close eye an old fellow like me. I love this new found regimen.
Love it!!

Great improvements- but still lacking

I love so many of the new features.... but -
I am frustrated with the new calendar format to see your bookings. I can’t see my ALL of my bookings in list form like you could on the old app.
The new calendar format is so tedious I have to click on each individual day to see what class I am booked for. It was very convenient to easily see ALL of your classes in listed up In one place for a quick overview.
I know lots of other members not happy about this either. I hope update ClubPilates & you make that an option. Otherwise so far so good.

App/Billing Improvement Needed

Love the classes and app is generally pretty intuitive, but the back end software needs to be updated to allow if you have an uncancelled auto-renewing subscription that you can start booking next subscription month before you are charged.

Right now, you get no class credits for next month until the payment hits. Only solution is to call the gym and run payment early so you can start booking next week before full up.

If I have a 30 day cancellation clause and I am within 30 days of my next renewal, I should be able to book next month??

I love the way Pilates make me feel.

Being a naturally indoor person I have being consistently challenged by enjoying physical activities. Reformer pilates was recommended to me by my doctor due to my chronic joint pain. Since I tried it at Club Pilates, I am in love with it.
The practice of Pilates have brought to my life so much joy and fulfillment that now has become a very important part of my day. Working out at club pilates is no longer a dread. Thanks for providing and safe environment to get stronger and healthy through gentle movements.

App feedback/suggestions

My feedback for ClubPilates is it makes it convenient to schedule classes. I really like the check-in feature so I can bypass the sign-in process with the obnoxious person at the studio.

My suggestions are: 1) to include a filter for the reformer levels so the user can only see the applicable level(s)…The selection process is cluttered with level 2 when I only want levels 1 or 1.5; 2) to add the date to the class that is on the “Your upcoming classes” and 3) include notifications options e.g., I don’t want the 24 hour advance notice, but just one the day of the class.

Dawn Cerreta

I’m really enjoying Pilates, the instructors get you Thru it. I enjoy the direction & push & this is why I really like it, I don’t have to think about anything. I work so hard & this is a place, the instructor can think for me & I can just do what they say, that alone is relaxing to me! Can’t wait to see results, I’m starting to feel it & when I look around, I see the results of others, so I’m well on my way & excited to get to that point next! Also, the class goes so fast!

Missing features the original app had

I love Club Pilates, but hate the new 2.0 app I downloaded. It takes forever to scroll to future weeks (my club won’t reopen until July), as it needs to refresh after hitting the advance button. This doesn’t make it easy at all to sign up for multiple classes as an unlimited member. Also they dropped the “add to calendar feature”. As someone who uses only their phones calendar for appointments, this is a huge miss! Disappointed in this new version.

By

Booking Classes

Basically a good and easy app to use, but the cap on booking classes is frustrating. I have an unlimited membership and I was always able to book as many classes as I wanted. This newer version caps me at 6 classes. This was not a problem until the re-opening of the studio at 50% capacity. I think this needs to be changed immediately.

By

Please fix app

The most recent version launches and immediately quits. I restarted my phone with no improvement. ClubPilates is not functional now. Please fix so I can schedule classes when studio reopens.

I agree with other reviewers that original app had better user interface. The new app is not intuitive and does not provide a good user view for scheduling. I do like the class reminder notifications.

❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love Club Pilates Evansville! I missed it so much doing the quarantine. I feel so much better both mentally and physically now I that I’m able to come to class again!

By

Fix it..

When will you fix ClubPilates? I was surprised to see reviews from January since my studio just asked us to download it in May. ClubPilates needs work. You should be able to see how many people are in a class even after you book as well as your spot when booked and on the waitlist. Having to select each day to see your schedule is so outdated. Club Pilates (corporate and studios) has been less than impressive lately.

By

A Step Backward

The old app- Pilates On Demand- was much better. Since the studios are closed, it was nice having the option to continue pilates at home. Unfortunately, this “upgrade” is a disappointment. In the old app, there were more options. You could choose what props/equipment you have, and there were more workout videos. Please consider making some changes to ClubPilates.

By

Poor functionality

The previous app was much more user-friendly. I wish I could still see a list of all my upcoming classes instead of a calendar where I have to click on each day to see what class I have and when I have it.
Also, ClubPilates has suddenly quit speaking to my calendar and I can’t add class to calendar. The desktop version doesn’t have this feature at all, which is a disappointment!

By

Terrible app

ClubPilates doesn’t work well at all. It gets stuck, it doesn’t allow log in and it doesn’t show where you are on the waitlist. It is frustrating to try to sign up for classes and ClubPilates keeps saying oops. It’s very annoying to get on the waitlist and not know how many people are ahead of you. If I’m number 8 on the list I’ll make other plans, but if I’m number 1, I might wait it out. Love Club Pilates, just not ClubPilates .

Thank you ‼️

So happy to be back in the groove of club Pilates again.❤️

New app messing up my password

I never had any issues with the old app. This one continues to automatically enter my password—it automatically overrides my actual user name/email—as my user name (and password), not allowing me to change the user name, and therefore denying me access. I’m not having any issues on my Mac, just my iPhone.

Reformer Missing from Audio & Video

The complete lack of reformer classes on Pilates Go means that we will likely terminate our 4-year annual membership. It is the only safe way to obtain our instruction during the new health crisis. We are 60+ years at risk. There is no reason to take in-person classes at the local studio this year.

Calendar synch and flow

Can u fix glitches in calendar synching. It was working now its not. And the ability to scroll to find classes is difficult. It should show sunday-saturday or a whole month view but its not. It is glitchy

By

Trouble trouble

Booking doesn’t go through... error “oops something went wrong”
Cancellation doesn’t go through... error “oops something went wrong”
App 2.0 has some serious glitches to address. Not a fan

Where is AirPlay for OnDemand classes?

This is a horrible replacement for this app OnDemand (which was a pretty good app). This one won’t display full screen on an iPad (because it is a phone-only app) and Airplay is not available. Do you really think I prefer a 6 inch phone screen to a large TV screen? Nope.

Why won’t my classes add to my iPhone calendar anymore ???

So doesn’t work makes me change password every time. Please help.
