I needed information on scheduling a covid test without insurance. Called urgent care clinic listed on head department website and voicemail said to download app for info. Download app and created account, requiring personal data. The only thing I could do with WalkInUrgentCare was schedule an general urgent care appointment. No clarity on what the appointment was for, what type of tests are offered, or what the cost is for self pay. I couldn’t even cancel the appointment. No one available by phone and no one returned my message. I went elsewhere for my test, didn’t show for supposed appointment, and am deleting app that seems to be nothing more than a scam for data mining.
The concept is amazing, seems easy and convenient. But completely misleading. You sign in on WalkInUrgentCare . It gives you an appointment and tells you to wait in your car till you are called or call if you need assistance. After waiting over an hour I went in to ask how long it’s going to be and they said they are no longer taking appointments (& WalkInUrgentCare isn’t meant for appointments). Then why did I get a confirmation and a message saying they would call me. We are sick, I know you are trying to help, but your systems should be updated to say this info. Also the website is pretty awful (FAQ’s link doesn’t work, services aren't listed).
We all love when things work the way they are supposed to. Lucky for you, this is not one of those things.
WalkInUrgentCare shows available appointments. However when you click on the appointment, fill out all your insurance information and click the magic “check in” button… wait for it!!

Shouldn’t the “check in” button really be “schedule appointment”?
No matter how many times you try at different locations and times slots the same error occurs.
As this is the only way to schedule, it seems like the place should be called:
“Urgent care? KEEP WALKING.”
It doesn’t explain the process at all so I make an appointment and it asks me for a location, great I select a location but later on in the appointment section it doesn’t even tell me the location just the city is or what I am supposed to do. When uploading documents you can’t even delete them and they all are entered as insurance even though I selected ID
Does not work on newest IPhone 11 Pro Max. Firstly contacted there support via chatAnd explained how WalkInUrgentCare would not allow me to make a new user account. Also informed them I needed to make this account to get a Covid test. After 15 minutes of explaining the situation again and again I asked to talk to a supervisor. That’s one communication stopped I called their contact number where the supervisor swiftly answered the phone and told me he would create an account and call me back in five minutes. That was 3 hours ago
First of all, if you call the phone number provided with WalkInUrgentCare , you’ll find the mailbox is full.
Next, after driving to the urgent care facility you found online, whose phone mailbox is full, you find you must deal with WalkInUrgentCare.
After creating an account and making an appointment, you realize that you cannot wait for very long, and you find that you cannot cancel your appointment (see the title of my review, but in all fairness, the developers might have been following the instructions of less-than-smart business people), and when you call (to be courteous) to cancel, you are back at that number with the full inbox.
WalkInUrgentCare is a waste of time and probably so is the urgent care.
If you are blind and use VoiceOver on your iPhone, you are out of luck. WalkInUrgentCare is completely inaccessible with VoiceOver and the company seems to care less. The website isn’t accessible either. I’ve considered giving this clinic a try, but I will not until you guys fix your accessibility flaws. It’s so bad I can’t even create a profile, absolutely pitiful that a healthcare clinic would deny equal access to services for patients with disabilities.
Listen I downloaded WalkInUrgentCare because it said it was 24 hour care for telehealth appointments. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes this morning I gave up and deleted WalkInUrgentCare from my phone. 5 HOURS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT REQUEST they call me to see if I still want the appointment. What? Eventually I did get to talk to the doctor and she was very helpful and quick. So overall I think I’d use it again but with the expectation that it’s not 24 hours
I really like the idea of WalkInUrgentCare i didnt need to go outside or to wait in the clinic i creat an account and i waited the doctor to call me and with video chat feature he was able to diagnose my case.
They were very amazing! Very quick and detail oriented!!! Would definitely use this service again for sure!
I have used WalkInUrgentCare several times over the past year or so and have been happy with the care received every time.
The doctor called me within a few moments and was understanding to my questions and helped out quickly.
I went through WalkInUrgentCare for a call in service. The doctor called me about 10 mins later and was able to diagnose me and send prescriptions to the pharmacy. It was a very good experience.
Great and easy experience. I was not wanting to drive to the doctor so i used the call in and it was quick and easy. Got my antibiotics and am very happy with the process.

I’ve used WalkInUrgentCare many times and haven’t ever had an issue. If the video call does not work they will give you a phone call. Have always had a quick and pleasant experience.
The on call doctor was kind and courteous and assessed my issue promptly. He then called in a prescription for my infection and I picked it up 30 minutes later, and I’m on my way to healing! Very convenient when you can’t leave the house!
WalkInUrgentCare is really easy to use and allowed me to complete my paperwork before I went to the Urgent Care and saved me time when I got there. I also got my results on WalkInUrgentCare so I didn’t have to wait there afterwards. It also allows you to consult a doctor from home if needed.
I felt very light headed to the point where I couldn’t walk and I Immediately knew urgent care would have a telemed visit. I went ahead and scheduled and it went smoothly. The doctor was super nice I asked her opinion on what I should do about work and she highly suggested I should take my 2 days off to rest
I needed a follow up for strep throat and did not want to go into the office. I set up a call in visit and was called back immediately. They put me in the queue for WalkInUrgentCare and within 5 minutes I was talking to a practitioner. She gave excellent information and reassurance. She asked the right questions and this is a great service.
This is very helpful to get connected to a doctor from anywhere using the phone.
