Compared to other dating apps this has a better concept however, you can’t set the distance of who you’re matching with which is my biggest issue at the moment because, I want something close not across the darn country...in addition to that I have 45 year olds liking me. I’m trying to filter a age group in their 20s which is more realistic to mine. I’m trying to enjoy SLIDE but it gets annoying that the people you also hit next on pop up again. The like process is a nice I enjoy it but it’s annoying looking at something and it giving you the notification that gets in the way. I’ve accidentally hearted people because of that issue. Again not a bad app great concept but there is just so much that needs fixing maybe in the future SLIDE will knock over Tinder.

I’m usually against the dating app but I gave a try. I’ve been using the this app app for a few days now and it is so far so good! One of the features that I loved the most was the video-only profiles bc it gives you a real sense of meeting the users in person and their lifestyles. Close friends of mine witnessed some events where the profile pics were different from meeting in person but this is no problem with the this app. Another thing I loved about the this app was that the dates are done virtually! You don’t need to worry about going outside during the pandemic but you still get to video chat with new people lol If you feel down and want to meet people as before, the this app app is what you need. I would highly recommend SLIDE to my friends too!

The “this app AI” feature on SLIDE is very unique and I think has the power to work in people’s favor.

I have found of those I match with that they do not actually go through with the vibe check. I am not sure how realistic it is to expect people to be ready to be thrust in a video chat while they are browsing. Of over several matches, I have not yet used the feature.

The main problem SLIDE has is the distance filters not truly working. It doesn’t really do good to match with someone if they live an excessive distance from you. I’ve found that issues constraining distance is a recurring problem in smaller, more niche dating apps like this and I don’t know why...

At any rate, if the developers get this right, it would only be to their benefit.

This is such an interesting alternative to online dating! The Vibe Check feature allows you talk talk to matches which can sometimes be a little intimidating, but honestly it helps to get to know the person faster to see if they’re worth your time or not ;)

I also love the color scheme and it’s a fairly simple app otherwise similar to other apps you may use. I do have to say the downside is perhaps since there aren’t that many users yet, there weren’t too many people I wanted to vibe check with :/ I hope SLIDE will continue to grow!!

As someone stated before , their profile was used in a ad without their knowledge. If you read the terms of service regarding your content and slides rights to it, basically you give this app access to your contacts, imei data and other sensitive information on your phone although they don’t need it . You also give them permission for 100% responsibility free use of any content you upload which is why people are seeing their content reused or that they can’t delete all of their data off SLIDE . It’s sick and predatory that this isn’t transparent, because most of your young audience of course isn’t interested in reading the terms of service because they are unaware of how invasive this is. Shame, this seems like a good app but definitely not respective of users’ privacy .

I went into SLIDE skeptical that it would work but I got matches pretty quickly and everyone seemed to be in the same boat. If you are on SLIDE you are there for video to see if you can make a connection before the date and to make sure you don’t get catfished. Honestly the best way to date from now, don’t have to be nervous if a person looks different from their pictures or if you won’t vibe at all. Highly recommended.

this app is so much fun! It’s soooo much better than all the other dating apps I’ve tried. I love how the video chat feature makes conversation so much more interesting!

The video chat feature is so nice. I loved being able to tell who I could easily talk to. I completely avoided a lot of first date embarrassment.

I live in a mid-size city (population ~300k), and I was worried about if there would be enough people on SLIDE . However, I was only shown people who were within my preferred distance, which definitely helped me to find my boyfriend.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about three months now, and it’s all because of this app. For those on the fence about whether they should download, it’s so worth checking out! You’ll have so much fun. Just look at me, I have a bf and now I’m writing a review for an app lol (i never do this!!).

this app is a totally new dating app imo. I really like the Vibe Check feature that enables me to automatically match my date via video chat. It is easy to use, don’t really make people to pay to get a better algorithm so i can get a better chance of getting a date compared to the other dating app. If someone is interested in trying out new dating app, i guess downloading SLIDE could help. It’s worth it so far

I was to know why whenever you swipe on profile it says they’re looking for a quick hookup. The funny part about it is that there’s people on there saying that they want to be someone sugar mother when all these people on SLIDE will scam you out of your money. SLIDE has potential but it should crack down on people that are trying to scam people and next thing you know they ask you to message them on google hangout where they can scam you for no reason. These people clame to be in the same state as you but they’re really out in Africa waiting to scam someone. The developers need to crack down on profiles that’s doing illegal acts of crime.

This pandemic makes dating very difficult, so virtual dates on this app has been very helpful. Unlike other dating apps, matches directly lead to video calls, and this has been the best way to talk to ppl directly without wasting any time. Other features are also fun to play around with and have a lot of potential. Would recommend 100% to my friends n any ppl who want to find decent dates virtually!

Joined SLIDE, just to see how it would be and ended up falling for someone I’ve never met before, who lives in a whole other state, but somehow we’ve made it more then 6 weeks talking and still somehow are glad to FaceTime each other and discuss potentially meeting! I never thought an app would help me meet someone so amazing but I’ll never regret downloading SLIDE! It brought an amazing person into my life !

I thought this dating app was interesting because you can video chat with your matches and filter out the catfishes. Also my favorite part about SLIDE was that you could create you own “bae” by selecting people you think are cute. The AI then kind of combines them all into one face and gives you suggestions based off of this new “bae.” It is an app in the making, but it has so much potential!

I had gotten sorta burnt out on tinder and hinge just kind of burning through an endless barrage of profiles till they all started to blur together. But for whatever reason I’ve had a much better experience with this app- my conversations with other people are a lot more engaging. Better matching algorithm maybe? Only mild criticism is the UI design and logo are a bit too loud and excessively colorful, but otherwise, excellent.

I know everyone these days is interested in online dating and I think this one is definitely worth trying out. It was super easy to sign up and I was genuinely surprised because it’s a lot easier to express who you are through videos than pictures. I think a lot of people are gonna have fun with this one. Looking forward to spending more time on it.

A great way to improve SLIDE as well as make it rise in popularity quickly is make it to where you can actually see who likes you like SLIDE “Hinge”. That feature alone would make you stand out from other popular apps like tinder that make the users either hope for a match or pay an insane amount. By just making it available for users to see who likes them for free would make a huge difference and help your app. It’s a great idea it’s just difficult to just swipe and swipe and not know if anyone has ever actually swiped on you.

Look I understand you guys need to make a profit but there’s one thing really frustrating and thats the fact that people have liked my profile and I can’t even find them to talk to them because I haven’t payed. That’s highly frustrating mainly because the people I like never seem to notice me wondering if they have the same problem and they don’t even know I like them because they haven’t bought premium I understand certain features being paid extras but SLIDE dosent even let you DM someone first without paying that’s just sad to me 😒

It is so rare to actually talk to a real woman on SLIDE! Idc about the whole payment thing for premium use cause I’m not too stupid to use it, but almost every person that has contacted me either never responds when I genuinely greet them or it’s some woman that has “trust” issues and wants me to give her my bank info!!! It’s stupid and annoying. If your trying to find someone that’s real or even someone you can be open with… SLIDE is not for you… if your an idiot that’s easily manipulative and have a bunch of left over money than by all means 🤲

I have tried different dating apps and this one is very different. I have always been scared of being lied to about photos, but because of the videos I can also see what they look like in a moving video. This helps me be at ease!
Also if you pay you can directly chat with them which is pretty cool!

I guess you get what you pay for? Didn’t actually begin the subscription service. Used it for about a month and I’d say close to 95% of the matches are “nudes for money subscription services that are transferred to SnapChat. The real matches were not bad, something in the algorithm though makes it so 4% of your matches are at a minimum 3 hours away from you. Find a way to display at a minimum, city and state and I guarantee more 4 star ratings from non-bot contributors would come your way! Hope it helps!

the entire concept of SLIDE is cute bc on top of a regular dating app, you have some VR space to interact w other people. but i can’t add any information in my profile except for my bio (perhaps a bug/lag? either way, very annoyed) and when viewing profiles of others, it often lags and prevents me from scrolling down further. really hope mechanical issues are dealt with.

There is literally nobody on this application at all. It’s kind of funny, But definitely sadder. Get a user-base, then advertise.
