I started with this program 3 years ago, I think. I am still doing level 1/2, but that is what I love about it. I can work comfortably at what level I want, however long I want, and when I want. I am focusing on my flexibility because of an illness I have that has required the use of prednisone. I will probably always have to take it, but I am at just 2 mg a day. Who knows, my aim is 0 mugs a day.
After doing this program for only a year, my bone density scan even showed improvement, not “no change”. My rheumatologist was as proud as I was.
FYI- I am a 57 year old retired school teacher with polymyalgia rheumatica. Yes, it is a disease, and it comes and goes. It is autoimmune and loves to attack muscle tissue, like my hips, thighs, neck, shoulders, elbows, and knees. It is not arthritis, but is is so very painful and makes me move like a statue that has been frozen for hundreds of years that finally gets to moves. It is fine as long as I continue to move, but the moment I sit down to rest I have to go through it all over again.
No matter the circumstances, I am always happiest when doing the program. Again, I love you GUYS!
