I have a hypervolt (non-bluetooth version) and love it. When I first got it, Hyperice showed a lot of good videos on how best to use it. Today (1/4/21), none of the videos work for me. My app is updated, so I am not sure what the issue is. It appears to start a countdown to when the routine will start, but it gets stuck at 5. I am not sure if the issue is because I have a non-bluetooth version and it wants to sync (used to work before and videos will show with no problems) or if it is because Hyperice is buggy. Too bad, I really think the videos could have been so helpful for me to maximize the use of my hypervolt. I also recommend a better search function. Please fix and allow your non-bluetooth version owners of hypervolt to view the videos.

Besides being way too intrusive and invasive by shoving down way too many routine suggestions (ever hear of the saying “paralysis by analysis”?), it’s missing one easy and must for every routine/body part: list the device and which headpiece should be used. Why aren’t simple icons/photos used before the user starts the routine??? Instead the user has to try to make out what the narrator is saying and seeing what the demonstration model is using AFTER the routine has already begun. How does that make any sense??? Yes it might be minor, but it’s annoying enough that I don’t even want to bother with Hyperice .

Oh and what would you have your demonstration models wear black colored clothes when the device is black??? It makes it impossible to see the device. So many basic small items were completely overlooked.

Love the hypervolt plus and how much it helps me. Hyperice was great too but after a few days with not using it, I was logged off and can’t get back in. I’ve deleted Hyperice and reinstalled it, tried to change my password (enter at least 10 characters, numbers, symbols, etc) and after a minute or two I get a error message saying password needs to be more then 5 characters. I tried just logging in with my apple account and it scans my face, gives blue check that it recognizes it and then just stays at the login in screen. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here but want to get access to app again

I really like my Hypervolt device, and overall Hyperice is a great idea but it could be improved in two areas to provide a better user experience. First, when looking for routines the filter option is a bit cumbersome for Hypervolt devices. If you select a different this app device it will filter routines according to that device (eg, Hypervolt Go), so for now it’s a bit hit and miss finding routines by having to scroll through All to select a right one that’s compatible with the Hypervolt. Second, the recommendations are a bit redundant. For instance if it notices I went for a run earlier that day, it will recommend various routines based on devices I don’t actually have. So again, a bit useless. If the filter and recommendations can be more tailored to the device(s) that a user may have linked to Hyperice , then I believe Hyperice will become a much better user experience all round.

The Hypervolt Go works great and the instructors are very good….but Hyperice needs some real fixes. Here are my recommendations for using either iPhone and iPad.
1. It would be great to scroll back while watching an exercise in order to do the routine on both sides, left or right.
2. When the exercise video starts I can’t see the instructor demonstrate the routine completely. I have to keep fidgeting touching the screen options for a few minutes to get rid of a mostly whited out screen with a timer on it overlaying the instructions.
3. When the exercise video ends it would be great to have a restart button in order to do both sides of body.
4. When the exercise video ends it would be great to have a back button to see all the other exercises without closing Hyperice and reopening Hyperice .

Hyperice is incredible in guiding those that own any of this app equipment and use it the right way to for pre and post recovery. The Hypervolt has significantly helped my muscles and recovery time and also have prevented any injuries. I rely on the Hypervolt as a go to before and after my runs and workouts. Before Hyperice I was hesitant to know how to use it correctly and constantly went to their website to check as they had videos to show ways to hit certain muscle groups with the individual head attachments. With this new app by this app I am even more excited to get the most out of my Hypervolt.

Two highlights of Hyperice are it allows you to click on a body part to find a routine and connect to health apps. Being able to click on a body part and then be taken to multiple routines is great because it allows you to specifically target your tight muscles and make sure you’re massaging them correctly! Another thing I love is that Hyperice can connect to Strava and suggest massage routines based on your recent activity. This is such a cool feature and is sure to help you recover faster! Great job this app :)

I’ve had the hypervolt for a while and didn’t really know how to use it till I got Hyperice . All I was doing was guessing how to use it and when to use it. It has helped me learn how to recover much faster and warm up for lifting. Also Has helped my knee pains and also many other body pains from injury or just soreness. Hyperice is definitely a 10/10. It gives you video help on how to do simple instructions to help you warm up, cool down, and how to work injured parts of your body. It is also used by many world class athletes, the entire NBA, and many other well known people. There’s Also has a very cool feature where you can see how many calories you’ve burned with apple health. If you haven’t downloaded it yet I would, it’s a life changer. No other app or company is like this one.

Thank you this app for making this Educational tool, at the same time, elevating recovery culture at the pedestal it needs to be! I’ve been a long user of their products and Hyperice is gold! Not only does it use Apple health and strava, the this app App will curate a customized recovery routine based on your activities. Introducing, (HYPERSMART), according to Forbes they have a proprietary algorithm to use the devices you own and have routines ready at your disposal! Your products have had a tremendous impact on my daily life !! Now I have a bible of routines to reference anyone 🙌🏾🙌🏾You have to try Hyperice out!

Hyperice has been teaching me how to use my massage gun in new ways. My daughter gave me a hypervolt plus for Christmas last year, but I didn’t really know what to do with it so it’s just been sitting in a cabinet. She downloaded Hyperice for me the other day and showed me how to find routines and follow along, and now I’m doing a hand and forearm routine every day to help with my carpal tunnel. I didn’t even know you could use it on your hands! Even as I type this, my hands feel better than they have in years.

I have both the Hypervolt and the Hypersphere Mini - if you aren’t using any of this technology you really should. I am not an elite athlete by any means but this helps cut down recovery time tremendously and keeps me moving.

this app, the guided routines and suggestions are great - would you allow me to make one? Please, please, please allow users to enter their own usage into Hyperice or make Hyperice capable of running in the background. I have a terrible this app score despite using the equipment almost daily because I can’t keep Hyperice running the entire time. Thanks for considering.

UPDATED REVIEW. I gave Hyperice five stars a couple months ago. Wish I could give it five more stars and some. Hyperice just keeps getting better. They just added vocal coaching instructions to go along with music and video when you’re using the HyperSmart app. I’ve been using Hyperice for a couple month along with my HyperVolt Plus with Bluetooth. I can honestly say there seems to be improvements made to Hyperice regularly. It is better today than when I used it two months ago. I provided feedback on several occasions and see that my input was received and improvements implemented. It’s great when a company is willing to listen to feedback from it’s users and then constantly use that feedback from its users to make improvements to their products. No wonder they are number one in their respective market. They are winners and they work with winners from KOBE and the NBA, NBL, NFL, soccer, track and field and tennis with three time grand slam world champion Naomi Osaki. No wonder they are the official partners of the NBA. Kudos to the entire this app team... you guys do businesses the right way. Keep winning!!

I’ve had a hypervolt for a while and love using it, but I was never really sure I was using it right, or most effectively. After just a few times of using Hyperice routines as a guide, I can already feel the difference. I’m recovering from my workouts and less sore the next day. I connected it to my Apple health and now it reminds me when, and most importantly how, to best use my hypervolt before and after I do something active, or at other times too: I’m using my hypervolt even more, in the morning to help relieve stiffness and before I go to sleep to help me calm down. Can’t wait to keep using and see the long-term effects on my health.

I used to be super active but ever since Covid I’ve totally fallen off. I decided it was time for a change and that I wanted to start working out again, but I was really scared of the soreness that comes with restarting moving after being a couch potato for weeks. I got Hyperice and used my hypervolt like it instructed before and after my workouts, and I’m literally not sore at all. The score thing is great for letting me know when I’ve recovered adequately enough that I won’t be sore the next day, and the routines show me exactly where and how to use my hypervolt. It’s only been a few days so far but I am back on track and feeling way better.

Listen friends, this is the best massager you will get on the market. Living in this Covid time, Ive spent a lot of time at home sitting on my couch. I am fortunate enough to be able to work from home but without a proper chair I’ve noticed my back pain increasing. Once I received the hyper volt I knew just based on the high end value I’d get proper care for my back pain. After one use I saw an immediate difference in the mobility and pain in my back. After a few weeks of continuous use I returned to normal mobility and am able to focus on work now that my pain has subsided. If you are questioning buying - don’t! Get it now you will not regret it!

I have been participating in sports for as long as I can remember. In my playing career I had access to all the tools I needed but once that was over I was struggling to take of my body in a way that allowed me to optimize my performance in workouts to stay in shape. I’d go for a hard workout and then be sidelined for a week because my body just didn’t feel right. Ever since Corona hit I’ve been working from home. I used to be really good about having a fitness routine and stretching and stuff, but now that I’m at home all the time, the hours just blend together. My friend told me to check out Hyperice and it’s totally gotten me back on track - I connected it to my Strava and now it reminds me to do a little warmup routine and get moving after I’ve been sitting on my couch working for like 6 hours straight. My neck is already feeling less painful since I’m doing a routine to help make up for all these hours of WFH posture. And since I started wearing my Strava again I’m even getting back into light workouts. Definitely helping me feel like less of a workaholic homebody.

Hyperice is an absolute game-changer! It literally is like having a recovery companion with you all the time. I love the reminders, routines and most especially how it tells you which attachments to use on specific areas. That’s an awesome touch because I always get asked how to use all the different attachments.

Having been an active athlete for nearly 65 years and experiencing back surgery, shoulder surgery, broken bones, sprains and strains, and other array of injuries; recovery time has been a very big part of my life. Worth it… Absolutely. However, recovery was always so difficult until I was introduced to the this app products. The hyper volt, Norma tech, and the various ICE applications have changed my life for the better. I never thought there would be such products to use from a prevention standpoint and recovery standpoint in the sports activity world. This is definitely a five star company with five star products. I am an active person in my mid 40s with a job that requires a lot of desk time and kids that require a lot of wrestling as soon as I get home. I really needed something that could help to breakdown the stress that I carry in my shoulders/neck and also help me recover once I finish a long bike ride. The Hypervolt product was a huge lifesaver as it literally changed my routine in how I prep for “after” periods. Not only is it working through the knots, but it calming as well. This new App is perfectly timed, as it will help to keep me on schedule but also show my progress with their suggested activities. This is a true game changer and I am excited for things to come!
