Excellent App!

If you have more than one Apple device, you need CloudBattery. It allows you to keep track of battery status of all your devices from any device....even monitor your MacBook battery from your watch (for example). Also you can configure notifications per device to alert you when charge reaches a preconfigured level (or charge drops below a percentage level you set). And the Apple Watch complication can be set to show you the charge level of the lowest device...so at a glance you know what device is in need of charge next. iOS 14 widgets give you at a glance info as well. Note that the charge level indication is not to the second (it relies on the device reporting charge level and iCloud sync)..but more than good enough to keep track of all your devices! Get this, you’ll be glad you did!

I’m a little slow

I remember hearing about Cloud Battery on one of my podcasts and downloaded it. Then I forgot about CloudBattery until I wanted to clear out my iPhone. I thought I would investigate CloudBattery before I delete it from my devices. Wow, I didn't realize how great this application is in keeping up with everything connected to my apple account. From what I can see, if it has a battery source, Cloud Battery finds it. My Logitech Keyboards, both generation of Apple Pencils, trackpads, both of my Logitech MX Mouse, and all of my apple devices in one place. Keep in mind, once the device is active, Cloud Battery recognizes the device and reports the battery status. The only problem I had is being slow to use it. Great Job.

Great app, a few annoying issues…

CloudBattery allows you to see the charge state of multiple iOS, Mac, and other (Bluetooth) devices. It more or less works well and has several useful features. It actually shows the charge percentage unlike the “Find My” battery status which is helpful if you are waiting to see if a device is charged and it’s not with you. However, it annoyingly prompts you to enable Bluetooth every few minutes even if you aren’t tracking the charge state of any Bluetooth devices. There seems to be no way to to disable this. It occurs as a modal dialog, even when using other apps. If they would fix this issue, CloudBattery would be almost perfect.

This little Utility is AWESOME!!

I have multiple iOS devices and keeping track of the battery status between them all has been a hassle... until now! When I downloaded CloudBattery, I wasn’t sure it would work very well. But after using it a couple of months, I absolutely LOVE CloudBattery. It does exactly what it claims. I have had ZERO problems with it tracking ALL of my OS and iOS devices. I’m very happy. The developer did a GREAT job and as a reward, I have now upgraded to the paid version. If you need to track multiple OS and iOS device battery status, CloudBattery will do it well!!

Keep app open in background at all times

I had initially submitted a bad review because CloudBattery wasn’t updating automatically. If you encounter this issue, keep in mind that if you want to check your mac or iPad or apple pencil battery from your iPhone, CloudBattery needs to stay open on CloudBattery switcher (for iPad) or the tool bar (for mac) at all times for it to be updating info automatically. I believe it still will be nice if it could be updating when CloudBattery is completely closed.

Need some help

I have loaded CloudBattery because I have 5 iOS devices that i use regularly and wanted to keep track of the battery status. Seems to work on individual devices, but not all. Iwatch 5 shows three watches and i only have one and no other devices show up. iPad 12, iPad Air 2, iPad mini show some devices, but not all and IPhone does not show up on any of the devices. AirPods show up on everything. It may just be me, but i cant get it to work for all devices. Any suggestions? Purchased the full version. Restarted everything twice for clean boot. Frustrating right now. Also, app support is useless. Says it cannot connect to this source. Not helpful at all.

Almost perfect

CloudBattery is great. It allows me to see my phone battery from my watch. Which may seem silly to some. But i love to be able to keep my phone in my pocket as much as possible during the day, and i try not to charge it overnight as its not good for the battery. The only thing i wish it had was the ability to add which battery you want to a watch complication. Also, if you do enjoy CloudBattery, make sure you support the developer folks.

Great app but sometimes has problems not described in the FAQ

I was really enjoying CloudBattery. I recently got AirPods and I was hoping that it would also pick that up but apparently it does not. Today however CloudBattery did not work on my iPhone iPad or Mac MacBook or my Apple Watch because I get an error that says data load error. I reset reboot everything and it’s still giving me that error. No explanation from your website. Can you fix this thank you

Almost Perfect!

CloudBattery is amazing & I love it. But it would be nice if the user could set the percentages they would prefer for medium & low battery. The only other small improvements I would suggest would be adding the battery percentage to both style widgets. As well as adding the option to make the background for widgets transparent to match other iOS widgets & CloudBattery dock. If this could be done with the automatic day/night mode, omg it would be perfect!

Good for iPad and iPhone but can’t get Apple Watch Series 6 to update

It’s a useful app for my iPhone 13 Pro and iPad Air Pro. Battery percentages are accurate and notifications are useful. However my Apple Watch Series 6 will only update if I open CloudBattery on the watch. I’ve rebooted both phone and watch, have plenty of iCloud memory. There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact the developer for help directly. FAQs aren’t helpful. I’m hoping he can respond and talk me through this problem. If the watch component starts working, I’ll definitely upgrade my rating.

Refresh rate / accuracy issue

The only issue with CloudBattery is the refresh rate / accuracy. Sometimes the battery isn’t refreshed to the correct percentage, and upon refresh it doesn’t change. Had to add device again. Very inconvenient that it should be a 3-star. But, this is a great app and I’d rather not judge too harshly. It seems the developer is active around here and cares about CloudBattery .

Thank you.

Hitting three birds with one stone

This is truly a very good app. When the air power came out I was hoping for a new charging widget to see all of my apple devices in one place but that never came out. The closest I got was the multi charging widget on my iphone from my iphone, Apple Watch admin AirPods. With cloud battery I can see them all in one spot now. However, I am having some issues with my Apple Watch battery updating. It sometimes doesn’t update to the latest battery percent.

Devices won't connect with each other

Let me start by saying that I really love what CloudBattery is trying to do. It's just that my devices won't connect. I use an Apple Watch Series 4, An iPhone XR, and a MacBook air M1. Both my MacBook and my phone can find my Apple Watch but my Apple Watch cannot find either of them, my phone cannot find the MacBook and my MacBook cannot find the phone. This is really annoying because I cannot view the battery level of any of my devices on my watch which is the main reason that I got CloudBattery. Please fix this if you can developers.

Garbage

I bought CloudBattery because the Apple App Store recommended it. At first it was incredible, but the new iOS 15 update that Alan released last week broke everything. Nothing works ANY more from any device. And if you delete and try to re-add a device, it won’t let you - from any platform, iOS, iPadOS, or MacOS. I wanted to like CloudBattery. I even messaged the developer (Alan) and offered to help him troubleshoot, but he hasn’t responded and hasn’t fixed the crippling problems. Don’t waste your money since the developer doesn’t seem interested in the end-user, just the end-profits. Shame.

Getting worse

I wish I can get my money back. CloudBattery keeps getting worse. 1st the color change options are terrible. Why not have the color chart like every other app instead of this stupid slider thing? 2nd, it no longer tracks AirPods which they blame on the iOS. Clearly not true because I’m currently testing an alternative app that clearly tracks my AirPod Pro’s. If I wanted to only track my iPhones I would have used the iOS battery widget, there’s really no difference in the two. Smh, don’t waste your $$$.

Best battery tracker out there

So I love CloudBattery , and I love the idea of supporting a fellow compSci student! This could very well be on me but when I try to set a new color for anything after I click “done” CloudBattery closes out and the color doesn’t save. I can only choose from the stock colors available. Other than this CloudBattery is perfect. I absolutely love the neomorphic style you use in CloudBattery and on your website!

Very nice tool - multiple pencils?

I have just installed this monitoring tool across my Apple ecosystem. All devices seem to show up. I like seeing all my devices in one place. The Apple Pencil is a dilemma. I have 2 Apple Pencils. I have an Apple Pencil 1st gen on an iPad mini. I also have an Apple Pencil 2nd gen on my iPad Pro. I registered the Apple Pencil 2 and it shows up. But, when I try to add my Apple Pencil 1, it does not show up to add.

I like this app A LOT

CloudBattery is great, but I have an idea to make it just that much better.
A sort of a blacklist for the Apple Watch complication. I want to see either my watch or iPhone battery whichever is lowest, but I don’t ever want to see say, my AirPods case.
Great job, I don’t know how CloudBattery is so much better than other battery apps I’ve tried…!

Absolutely lovely app

This is save me so much frustration but I wish it would update correctly my AirPod Case is always lagging behind. The one thing I feel like it’s missing is for the watch part of CloudBattery to be able to choose individual items for each individual spot I would love to have my battery levels surrounding my face of the watch but I get stuck with the same item which ever appears first

A Must for Power Users

I’m heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem and CloudBattery helps me keep track of the battery charge percentages of my devices from any device. One particular device that would die on me unexpectedly was my Magic Trackpad 2. With cloud battery I always know how much battery I have and this solves my Ultra First-World problem.

Please improve the visual style!

Really great app! Very much worth the money. My only issue—please improve the visual style. Especially in the watch app as it is both ugly and extremely space inefficient. You should be able to fit at least four devices in one screen. It would also be useful if you added an additional complication that always displays a device of the users choosing.

By

Almost perfect!

This is great! I just wish the background refresh for the widgets worked better. Once you open CloudBattery everything updates, but it doesn’t work very well in the background.

Like it, add more features

After using CloudBattery, I’ll admit that CloudBattery runs well. You guys should add more features into customization such as having slots to save ur colors, being able to add pictures into the backgrounds and the percentage number while not on CloudBattery .
