I purchased an eSIM for my trip to Taiwan, but unexpectedly found myself without internet while alone in the city. I lost signal for about six hours. Although I eventually got the issue resolved by submitting a case to customer service, I had to buy another eSIM in the meantime because I was completely lost. Be aware that the connection can be quite unstable, and if it disconnects, all you can do is submit a case and wait for it to be resolved.

Pretty sure MobiMatter is a scam to collect credit card numbers. I submitted all my information and it just gave me an error message stating that “something went wrong” and never gave me my eSIM. Reporting to my bank for fraud…. They’re likely stealing peoples personal data and card numbers. Because there is no reason why there should be an error when processing my payment.

I bought my Canada eSIM while on a flight. When I landed, the eSIM wouldn't activate. I wrote into this app support about this, and they said the eSIM had been claimed and they couldn't help. When I showed them that I was on a flight during that time and couldn't have possibly used the eSIM, they responded "All the records are in the system, you are clearly not being honest." I've now filed a chargeback, but I spent $40 on a 5G eSIM and just ended up grabbing a physical SIM card from the airport instead. The site may sometimes work, but if it doesn't, you'll be on your own with this app.

App comes in clutch for esims.

DO NOT TURN ALLOW NOTIFICATIONS. There is no configuration in MobiMatter for this and gives marketing ads less than 24 hours after I bought an esim. I don’t need another esim. All I would ever care for are notifications about when the eSim needs to be topped up.

MobiMatter works great but it often times charges much more than other e-sim resellers. The 17GB for the Maldives for example is 11$ more than it is on the other very popular sim reseller. I also don’t understand how they come up with the ratings for the sims. I think they should be a little more clear in the descriptions.

I have bought a lot of SIMs from this app and generally I have been happy. I would like to say that MobiMatter needs notification improvements. Specifically, I have been getting a lot of irrelevant and annoying marketing notifications for various eSIMs that I don’t want from the this app app. So, I had to completely turn off notifications for MobiMatter but now I won’t get notifications about the eSIMs that I actually own (low data, expiration, etc.). I think it would be good to be able to choose what type of notifications you want to receive in MobiMatter (eg. Marketing offers, orders you placed, etc.) as many other apps have already done.

Best in term of price, coverage and most of all in term of customer support
I have mistakenly deleted my esim profile but they where very helpful in giving me a replacement even so they are not obligated to do so.

Very nice programme and prices are very competitive with very good coverage and internet speed

I have been using MobiMatter for the last few months and it is the best thing that happened. I have a lot of eSims that I can use saving me the hassle of looking for a local sim. I greatly recommend it and their support is great too.

I am on my 5th trip abroad in the last 2 years and have used them 4 times now and each time without issue. I have used gigsky and airlo and they have left me feeling lacking in comparison

One of the best apps/services for this. Was even getting 5G in parts of Europe which other services don’t normally provide for travel eSims at the time of this review. Best get familiar with eSIMs first with smaller packages before going bigger :)

Wow! I have had an incredible time with this app. I travel the world all the time and having an esim easily accessible to buy on the spot and be activated in seconds helps me so much.

Their customer service is phenomenal! Whenever I have an issue they respond within 24 hours, even sometimes under 2 hours!!!! I have been so grateful 💖 Highly recommend them!

It works well as long as you understand how data roaming works.
You can’t expect a speed connection as if you were on your home country. It always uses the internet connection from the ‘home’ network where the eSIM belongs.
Please research those terms if you want to understand ‘ggsn, sgw,pgw, VPLMN, IPX’

Worked like a charm in the UK and Spain. I got the eSimGo european plan and got coverage from all main networks there. MobiMatter works great too and it’s easy to manage your data from there.

Works exactly as described on the website. Install took 1 minute and worked the first time. I used Airalo before which was a nightmare.

I never write reviews unless I’m blown away, but this app eSIM provider is really good. I’ve maybe used 10 other eSIM providers as I travel a lot. Not only is MobiMatter an easy way to find affordable eSIM’s, but they are also very reliable. Forget any other apps. This is the one you need!

Very convenient service when traveling abroad. Great for cross continent / country data and calls. Reasonably priced. But the customer service and quick replies is what I was really blown away with. The person I dealt with really cared and fixed any issues quickly, replying to emails immediately.

At first I thought it wouldn’t work, but it did! Some offerings especially in Asia are much cheaper than competitors. Amazing value for money.
