I bought my Canada eSIM while on a flight. When I landed, the eSIM wouldn't activate. I wrote into MobiMatter support about this, and they said the eSIM had been claimed and they couldn't help. When I showed them that I was on a flight during that time and couldn't have possibly used the eSIM, they responded "All the records are in the system, you are clearly not being honest." I've now filed a chargeback, but I spent $40 on a 5G eSIM and just ended up grabbing a physical SIM card from the airport instead. The site may sometimes work, but if it doesn't, you'll be on your own with MobiMatter.
unstable esim

I purchased an eSIM for my trip to Taiwan, but unexpectedly found myself without internet while alone in the city. I lost signal for about six hours. Although I eventually got the issue resolved by submitting a case to customer service, I had to buy another eSIM in the meantime because I was completely lost. Be aware that the connection can be quite unstable, and if it disconnects, all you can do is submit a case and wait for it to be resolved.

Pretty sure this app is a scam to collect credit card numbers. I submitted all my information and it just gave me an error message stating that “something went wrong” and never gave me my eSIM. Reporting to my bank for fraud…. They’re likely stealing peoples personal data and card numbers. Because there is no reason why there should be an error when processing my payment.
