The Dancers Resource Reviews

Nothing in TheDancersResource loads. This is a very glitchy app. You can’t get anything to load. The only thing that loads is the dashboard but you cannot get anywhere from there. The dressing room doesn’t load, nor does the income tracker, you can’t favorite any clubs or write any reviews. I’m really sad as I was looking forward to using TheDancersResource since is such a cool idea. As a fellow dancer this would have been awesome had it been executed better.

The search function glitches all the time. There are times when it just doesn’t work at all. Cant search anything. The layout for club searches is very obnoxious. Why they go by county instead of city is beyond me. You’ll constantly be googling counties to find the club you need. When you’re looking at a club and then go to return to the previous page TheDancersResource kicks you out to the home page. For all the shareholders they claim to have and money they say TheDancersResource is worth you’d think it would be a user friendly functional app.

TheDancersResource has wayyy too many glitches. And needs so much improvement. It’s definitely not ready for public use. The icons move around weirdly, when you look for clubs one button says city, but it only gives county options, so you have to leave TheDancersResource , google what county each city is in, return to TheDancersResource and then look. The actual clubs when listed have no structure as far as bullet points go. It’s a very unorganized app. The income tracker is definitely and invasion of privacy and not something I would use. You’re better off creating an excel sheet and only submit that to your tax attorney and accountants. I’m deleting TheDancersResource stat.

I’m not gonna lie, I was SUPER EXCITED for TheDancersResource. As a traveling exotic dancer, I was looking forward to using TheDancersResource to find new colleagues, club info/stats, and best of all, the income tracker. Access to the income tracker comes with a paid monthly subscription of $4.99, which I had no problem with. After I purchased the subscription, I quickly refreshed my app but the income tracker was still not accessible. I went to check if any of the other features had been unlocked but sadly, no. So I emailed The Dancers Resource to see what had happened and, after a few days of emailing back and forth, they eventually responded saying, “Hello after looking into your subscription it appears there was a billing error and the subscription was canceled.” The thing is there was no money returned to my account…so I guess it’s just lost into thin air 😒 but to be honest, I didn’t care about losing the $5 as much as I wanted to enjoy the great features of TheDancersResource 😔 oh well, nice idea if TheDancersResource actually worked the way it’s advertised…

TheDancersResource is almost exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’ve experienced just a few bugs, however.

1. After creating my account with an accidentally misspelled email I have not been able to resubmit a new email

2. When attempting to review clubs or update the information of clubs I’ve worked for in the past I get kicked out in the midst of the process

3. I get notification bubbles but have no notifications

And finally 4. TheDancersResource logs me out and offers a $4.99 something something, however I don’t have time to read what I’m being offered as it disappears and logs me back in very quickly

Very glitchy, lots of bugs.
Not a whole lot available, in-app purchase or not.
Not very many reviews yet, despite TheDancersResource being around for a long time…you’d think that it’s abandoned with how little changes or improves.
4.99 is A LOT to pay for pretty much no reason, simply not worth the price; especially to not even function properly at least half of the time.
With a little work, it could be an AMAZING tool!!
Add more, fix it up, get more traffic to the platform…it has a lot of potential to help new and existing dancers, we’ve needed something like this for a while.

This is an awesome idea although TheDancersResource itself needs some maintenance, for example I am not able to search for clubs without the screen going blank and not searching 70% of the time. Also a lot of the features won’t even load. I think this a great app and resource but it is not user friendly enough to be effective in its purpose.

However, it can definitely use a few tweaks here & there. My main problem is that every time I put in my email to try & fix my password, it keeps saying that an email has successfully sent to my account! Yet I have nothing in my Inbox or Spam!, I can’t log back into my original account, and I really don’t want to make a new account neither can I because I don’t have another number to use 🤦🏾‍♀️

I just came to download TheDancersResource after seeing a recommendation, however I was disappointed to see one of the first photos in TheDancersResource summary promoting Deja Vu Hollywood and for this I’m dinging 2 stars off the bat. Not only have I been screwed over by a Deja Vu affiliate in vegas (LD) but I worked at Deja Vu Hollywood right before the pandemic, and after they went into lockdown I went in to pick up my paycheck and none of my dance money was on it whatsoever. They tried to say their computer didn’t mark me for any dances sold. This was a boldfaced lie because I always scanned my keyfob and the machine displayed my name and the green light, and then light went red when the time was up for each dance. Those clubs are an absolute predatory scam and they stole from me at the peak of a worldwide pandemic as I lost my job. It completely screwed over my eligibility for proper unemployment benefits as well since I didn’t make enough according to my paycheck. So I’m already seeing TheDancersResource as untrustworthy. But I will still check it out and give 3 stars for the thoughtfulness of it.

Phenomenal app for someone looking to start dancing, but there’s no option to start a subscription and gain more access. I go to click “The Dressing Room” and I get a pop up to a new page not offering to start a subscription, but a new page that has the links for the Terms and Conditions, the Privacy Policy, and a button to clear the internal settings. Would love to fully access TheDancersResource!!

I love how simple it was to find clubs all across the US. A major issue I noticed with TheDancersResource is the comments seemed to be randomized at best. I'd like an option to filter comments about clubs by date, knowing that our industry is ever changing having the newest info can help guide better decisions.

The club reviews on TheDancersResource are super helpful!! My only suggestion is to have dates on the reviews. Rules, management, prices etc can change so it would be helpful to know when the review was posted. <3 !

I love that dancers are slowly but surely gaining access to more resources that those working in the vanilla world get. TheDancersResource looks a lot better than from when I first downloaded it a few months ago but still could use a few tweaks here and there. For example; I would like to be given the option to change some club info that I find to be incorrect (the name of the club, address, phone number, hours) but it only gives you the option to talk about money, stage, and auditions. That would be the most helpful! Another thing would be that sometimes when I’m trying to read reviews TheDancersResource will sort of “freeze” and you have to hold your screen really hard to read the rest of the reviews. Other than that, good app and I know with time it’ll get better as well as I’m looking forward when more girls review it and use it.

I was super excited once I found TheDancersResource and started going thru it. I think it’s a great tool for dancers to have! I started telling all my coworkers about it BUT I can’t get a “membership” so I can’t access hardly anything. There is no button for me to buy the membership and when I try to hit the only button available “restore membership” nothing even happens. I’ve also commented on posts on the instagram to try and see if someone could help me but no one ever replies 😔 so I’m only giving 2 stars because I’ve never even been able to access all of it
*updated* I don’t think I had allowed enough time for someone to respond to my questions. I did get someone to respond and they told me to make sure my app was updated and if that didn’t work to message again. My app did need 2 updates and it did work! So I totally give TheDancersResource 5 stars! I love it

i haven't experienced any bugs, added a club & plan to add more for the Summit Co area in Ohio. it'd be cool if you were able to favorite or add certain areas to your dashboard for easy accessibility. i can't wait to see where TheDancersResource goes & i hope it becomes an awesome resource for dancers.. as in the name. ❣️ i have been wanting to travel & i hope to use TheDancersResource to easily find clubs to work at on my adventures. thank you so much for developing!

I love TheDancersResource and use it constantly! I see the potential for it to improve as it can be glitchy but it’s invaluable to people in the sex entertainment industry. We never had something like this and now that it exists, it feels like a necessity. It keeps us safe and holds the clubs accountable.

It’s a great concept and I’m going to still support TheDancersResource in the best way I can. However, there’s so much work to be done still. I try purchasing a membership but the button to ‘restore purchase’ doesn’t react. It glitches or gets stuck a lot when I press any button in TheDancersResource really. The features sound cool and innovative but again, it doesn’t actually work. All this to say, while it isn’t actually functional now, I look forward to it one day living up to its potential.

My friend Chynadoll told me about TheDancersResource and I will say TheDancersResource is very helpful and it helps me know what to expect from clubs that I’m interested in working at I recommend TheDancersResource to my friend who also is a entertainer ., TheDancersResource was a good idea thank you I really appreciate it

Thank you for TheDancersResource! As a single woman in a small midwestern town it’s so relieving to have an app that allows me to talk to other dancers t get personal information for traveling to new states and cities, which clubs work best for me, and what each club expects such as attire and etc

I’m so glad I came across this over the summer. I’m in the process of plotting out which clubs I want to dance at & it’s so wonderful that there is TheDancersResource where previous or current dancers can give their 2 cents so that I can gauge whether a club is worth my time or not. Absolutely wonderful idea. Thank you to the founders!
