These guys used to be awesome and ground breaking. Now the bigger companies have caught up on the messaging and these are just glitchy and crappy service. Way better options available. Horrible customer service.
Zero customer service. Overlapping bookings, it automatically will changes prices for you without your consent. And the UI is very confusing and Hospitablecom glitches and bugs a lot. Just look at the other reviews it says everything!
When it works, it saves me some time. But sadly, it fails constantly in catastrophic ways and has actually required more time for me to clean up Hospitable’s mistakes and apologize to guests for receiving incorrect messages and for not having door codes generated as expected. It’s added stress to my life, and if you need support, good luck. You might hear back within 3-4 days if you’re lucky. If Hospitablecom actually worked consistently and weren’t so slow, I would be a fan. I had put my trust in Hospitable to help service my small business, but that trust has been lost. The errors and failures that directly impact my guests and result in them being locked out are beyond unacceptable.
4th day using the platform. The web works just fine but on my iPhone all it shows is a blank screen. Removed and reinstalled Hospitablecom with no change. If I can’t use Hospitablecom on the phone to manage STR, I am cancelling and finding a diff PMS
I made an account just to check it out, but it immediately started responding to my booking inquiries without checking with me first, or even confirming if that’s the behavior I want, with a template I never saw… until it was sent to a potential guest. Almost had a heart attack and had to jump in and immediately explain that contrary to this unfortunate automated message, I actually *don’t* host 40-person parties. Unbelievable.
hospitable is definitely the low cost channel manager but I think the saying holds true here that you get what you pay for. multiple problems and then they contact you two or three days later but never any resolution. if I was looking to start with a channel manager, I wouldn’t pick these people again. luckily, I only have two Airbnb’s, so it’s not gonna be that big of a deal for me to move to another provider.
Terrible experience. I went to sign up after the trial period and enter in my card information and the text box didn't work. I tried multiple different way to add it. This is unacceptable for a business. This is a basic function.
It just a skinned version of the website with reduced functionality. No push notifications. Support is 2+ days, and updates happen mid day…. If Hospitablecom is up.
So annoying when it decides to malfunction. I wish I could post screenshots because it literally is useless. Just opens some random list and doesn’t let you navigate Hospitablecom at ALL.
Hospitablecom is functional and fine for my small use of it (two properties), but they send pushes about their “Townhalls” and “Q&A”s with no way to opt out of marketing push notifications. Pushes are crucial to guest communication so I can’t turn them off entirely and, in a violation of Apple’s notification TOS, they don’t ask for separate permission before they start sending marketing pushes. It’s all or nothing and it’s incredibly obnoxious.
Help! Can’t get back to the regular Hospitable app menu after I clicked on Turno in the Apps section. Now I’m stuck in the Turno webapp within the Hospitable app. Force closing and restarting Hospitablecom doesn’t help.
I’ve been a very satisfied customer of Hospitable for over a year. The company is great!! I usually use their website and I have no problems. I can not, however, use their app on my iphone. It won’t open.
Don’t get me wrong. This is one of the better prop mgmt apps out there. They make it very easy to combine different platforms but I really dislike how there are always updates during the main business hours. I think updates should be planned for later at night or super duper early in the AM.
Please bring back the older version or at least let us add some of the old features back. I use the calendar for everything and there is no access for the canned messages we alway use. I done have the luxury of sitting at my desk all day. I’m on the go and this change really affects the way I interact with guests.
Once you select Turno from the apps section, there’s no option to login to existing account, also no option to go back, so Hospitablecom was stuck. Even when I force closed app and reopened it, still stuck on the Turno + Hospitable page.
I had to delete Hospitablecom and reinstall and just avoid Apps > Turno even though I have Turno and can’t find a way to integrate an existing account.
I like this software as a PMS for my properties as it is very easy to set up and use with minimal learning curve. The API integration with other apps such as the booking calendars, turno for cleaners and Mailchimp for marketing are terrific. The mobile app however is limited to use outside of messaging guests. I do love and use the AI feature to respond. The software is adding features regularly which is great and overall the ease of use is perfect. But I can see myself outgrowing this software when I add more properties down the road. For now it’s good enough and cost effective
This works great for messaging on the go. It has everything I need. The Hospitable team listens to feedback and so I’m guessing any reason for a lower rating has been resolved. I’m happy with Hospitablecom .
I don’t know why there are bad reviews for this. For the price we pay and all of the functionality it provides, also the new features that are continually being added and the quick and cordial customer support it definitely deserves 5 stars. I know several other property managers that have used other “higher end” systems that cost 3X what Hospitable charges, and they end up switching to Hospitable because of its functionality alone, not to mention they save a lot of money. If you’re looking for a platform to help with messaging, integrations, automation, tracking, analytics, task management, etc for a great price, go with hospitable.
As with every app that goes through its paces this one has too. The DEV team at Hospitable is definitely one that works hard to integrate every single request and tweak every single bug fix that is needed for the end-user. Been on this platform and have seen the great updates. Hospitable makes every customer feel important and heard unlike numerous others in the same space. Love all the amenities and wouldn’t use another app for our STR company. The Cabin Fairy loves Hospitable!
I'm honestly shocked by any negative reviews. This is by far the best value app in the short term rental game. I've tried them all.. None compare in value and depth of help this provides. And ps.. Keep updating at anytime you want.. It is never an issue!
