****UPDATE #2***
From 9pm to 1:30am I waited in hold on three different phones (that were hung up around 2 hours and 45 minutes of waiting respectively) only to find that my account was frozen due to an order for furniture that I placed was canceled because the items were out of stock so the merchant issued a refund back to my account. this app/PNC Bank’s system wanted the refund matched up with the original transaction...which was done while I was on hold again....the process from when the representative answered until the end of the call took less than 5 minutes....yet I was on hold for over 5 and a half hours!!! All because someone wanted to give back $2,000 of my money. They froze my entire account because of this. No warning...leaving me stranded if I had had no cash to buy food or gas. And all I receive is a weak rehearsed emotionless apology. I could understand if someone was trying to take $2,000...but no it was a freaking REFUND so they flagged it for security verification...made me wait 5 and a half hours for a security representative to remove the security freeze in less than 5 minutes. Freaking ridiculous!!! Just avoid this app/PNC Bank. Hell at this point I’m almost willing to pay people $5 NOT TO JOIN!!! Geeeeezzzzzssss...

I have now been on hold for 2 hours, 43 minutes and 32 seconds waiting for a representative from the this app/PNC Bank security department to verify me and unfreeze my card. RIDICULOUS!!! I’m also on hold on two other phones just to see which is answered first. The second phone I’ve waited 1 hour and 56 minutes. The third phone 22 minutes and chose the option of reporting my card lost to see if they answered faster.
I’ve had nothing but issue after issue with this app/PNC. As I type this I am on hold for the third time in the last two hours waiting for security review to unfreeze my card...that I haven’t even used for the past two days. I’ve been in hold this time so far for 30 mins and been transferred twice (once to some department that isn’t even part of PNC/this app somehow). It’s a good thing I’m not stuck at a gas station. Since I discovered that this app/PNC would act as “Mom & Dad” determining how much of my OWN money I am able to spend from my BUSINESS account daily, I’ve been trying to slowly withdraw and move my money back to Bank of America....where there is no daily spending limit. Every other day my card is now being froze and I have to go through this 2-3 hour period of verification for my card to become I frozen. Which by this time it’s too late for me to withdraw from the ATM before the next day. In short this banking experience has been horrible. By far the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. They have a nonchalant attitude towards assisting their customers and simply just say “no”. They have made claims that a supervisor would contact me regarding my concerns on several occasions, yet no one has ever called. They refuse to increase the daily spending limit of $2,500. They refuse to increase the daily wire transfer amount of $1,000. They refuse to increase the ATM withdrawal amount of $500. BUT!!!! When it came down to funding my account they had NO OBJECTION to accepting my transfer of $44,000 when their limit is normally $10,000. They have no issue bending the rules when it’s in their favor. But when I found all of this out and asked about closing out my account, they told me that they could close it and mail me a check for the balance remaining in my account and this whole process would take approximately 30 DAYS!!!! 30 days without any access to the portion of my business funds that they have. So I’m canceled all of my wires from my other bank and not depositing any additional funds. But now I am being punished apparently by this app/PNC as they freeze my account every other day preventing me from transferring and/or withdrawing and/or making any purchases. I’m certain this is breaking few rules and as soon as I’m off of this now 40 mins phone call I will be filing a complaint with the BBB, FTC and all other governing authorities. Trust me no exaggerations. Feel free to contact me and I will provide detailed evidence of my experience with this app/PNC. Sadly, I have only had this account since May 16, 2020 and didn’t receive my debit card until June 19, 2020. But it has felt like a lifetime of irritation. 45 mins on hold after being on hold twice before this same very night for over 20 mins each time. Trust me...just don’t sign up for this torture. Avoid this app Bank/PNC Bank and save yourself the worst banking experience ever imagined.
