Safe Notes - Color by Note App Reviews

SafeNotes is garbage, I used to use it on my galaxy s7 and loved the old version, but since I switched to iPhone and updated to the newer version I am unable to recover my thousands of notes! I write music on the daily and have lost access to hundreds of lyrics. I will manually pull them off my old phone that has a black out screen, but the option to back up and restore notes was huge on the old version of SafeNotes. Also I am unable to close out of any of the ads, rendering it totally useless. I would gladly pay money for the old version of SafeNotes, but the new version belongs in the landfill buried next to the person who thought it would be a good idea to change SafeNotes...

I used to LOVE SafeNotes. They had checklists that you could X items off of, you could change different font colors and it was all around a great app. Now all the writing on the notes is in white! What is wrong with them to think I want white font for ALL my writing?! There is no more checklist and SafeNotes is just nothing like what it used to be. All upgrades are not better and I wish SafeNotes would go back to how it was. It’s horrible and pointless now, I can do the same thing SafeNotes does in the factory note app that comes standard on all phones. If you people read this, please go back to what you were!

SafeNotes is horrible for a number of reasons. First of all there are ads that pop up before you can use SafeNotes and some of the ads cannot be closed. I have on multiple occasions not been able to access my notes because the ad is a game that cannot be closed for a long period of time. Also SafeNotes generally does not function that well. For example when you make a list, you cannot see the bottom of the list while you were editing it.I would absolutely not recommend SafeNotes.

I have SafeNotes on a Samsung and it was great the best app ever! So I switch to an iPhone but I had to move over all of my notes manually to my iPhone after doing that I used it for several months then went back to look at my notes every single one of them was gone! I have no idea where they went there was no update and yet all of them To be removed or deleted! Lord only knows where they went somewhere confidential! Save yourself the time and don’t download SafeNotes!

I was looking for a no frills daily journal/note app that was searchable , can lock notes , could attach and recall photos and was referenced with a calendar. I paid the full price to unlock all this apps options and block adds.
SafeNotes appeared to have all of that BUT you CANNOT recall full photos attached, the lock / password protect function does not work and when recalling notes from calendar for editing or viewing SafeNotes pulls up the wrong notes . This is the worst app I have EVER paid for.

SafeNotes was overall pretty good besides the ads before the latest update. Now all of my saved notes are gone. I’ve clicked on everything possible to see if I could recover them. No response when I email either.

I liked SafeNotes until the new upgrade at rid of all my important notes!!! I don’t even have them written down anywhere else! How can they just get rid of my notes like that?! I’m heated! If someone can help me restore my notes that does not include me purchasing a backup package for the notes I had already had wrecked down, I will be happy to change my rating! 😭😭

Got a new phone and tried to load. Only get game ads and cannot get past them the X is in the same location as back on iPhone. Would really like to restore my notes from my other phone, but I guess I will be adding them to another program. To bad because I have used this for multiple years.

I loved SafeNotes, until a recent update, now I can't get back into it to restore my previous information. I've reached out to the developer without any success. This was a great app, but now I'm regretting my choice.

As the subject line suggests, theres no settings for SafeNotes. It used to be well made, and even allowed you to sign in through google so you could share notes across devices. That feature is gone now though, much like the dark mode, checklists, and other things that made SafeNotes usable :/

Your original notes app was very easy very simple and very convenient.

When you upgraded it to what it is now it is the worst app I have ever used and I plan on finding a different app to use and deleting that because he screwed it up

To be honest, I liked previous design of SafeNotes with yellow columns and was not using it mainly to store safe my notes. Company is rebranded towards safety of notes, where they lost me as a customer

Used to be my favorite note app, used it did years. Latest update ruined it and I can’t find any of my old notes (songs, journal entries, overall really important and personal stuff. I even used it to help keep track of my stories and worldbuilding for writing). Now it feels cheap and I hate the ads.

Apparently the only way you can actually use any of the features is to pay for SafeNotes . I’m not paying for an app when I can’t even get a feel of how any of the “pay to use” features work. So many ads too. At least offer a free trial period.

Trying to keep notes but suddenly an advertisement pops up and hard to close after several minutes.
