I downloaded TolunaInfluencers 3 days ago in hopes to make extra money as I have been impacted greatly by Covid-19. TolunaInfluencers will crash and I lose my place in the survey and not get any points. It has done this consistently with 7 surveys. I have wasted two hours and not receive any points because TolunaInfluencers crashed. In my opinion, do not waste your time doing the surveys. You probably won’t be able to finish the survey to even get your points. I’m deleting TolunaInfluencers directly after posting this review. It’s a waste of time.

TolunaInfluencers and company is not worth anyone’s time. In my experience I almost always get halfway through a survey and the page either crashes or I’m told I don’t qualify for the survey that I have already spent time on and have entered information into.
The worst part is after entering all this information and not being rewarded, I usually receive MANY robocalls in the days following. This is a waste of time and probably an absolute scam.

I caved and downloaded TolunaInfluencers despite the terrible reviews. I was a Toluna member years ago and saw activity on my social media and was excited to know this site was still around. I created an account completed a few surveys through Safari and would close TolunaInfluencers pop up. After downloading TolunaInfluencers I was already logged in and mid survey would be asked to log in or after 20 minutes of a survey (because let’s be serious if we take our take our time and read questions it takes longer than the estimated time) I’d get the the “you are almost done” page and could not click continue. I contacted customer services and now my account is locked. I can’t log into TolunaInfluencers or online. Stick with taking surveys in your web browser. I just lost out on so many rewards hopping it was a glitch. This site was my favorite years ago and I got so excited when I came across it again.

I’ve been trying to do surveys and each time it’ll crash. I count myself lucky if it crashes at the beginning and not after I’ve taken 30 min to do a survey. There’s no way to go back to the last answered question to pick up where you left off. No compensation since it crashed. I love doing surveys and the compensation but this is ridiculous. I’ve been able to successfully do maybe 1 out of every 7 surveys I attempt.

Constant errors on TolunaInfluencers . What’s the point to either finish or partially finish a long survey to only get an error message and no points for your time? And then take extra time to keep reporting it? That’s not fair at all. Otherwise it’s ok.
Update: Response from the developer is to let them know the details of the numerous errors(s), but like I said the time it takes to document which survey, what issues etc is not the customer’s job. Your team needs to get it together not put the burden on the customers! Very unfair. Your IT dept has the ability to track everything. Since they’re not doing that, hire an outside IT firm to solve your issues. Also since you’ve known about this problem for a while clearly indicated by previous comments, you obviously just don’t care

I estimate it takes more than FIVE full hours to get a $10 gift card, assuming you actually get credit for the surveys you complete. Not exactly a big reward. My biggest survey is (not surprisingly) still “pending” after nearly two weeks, while small surveys chave no problem clearing almost immediately. So after 2hrs of credited surveys, and another 30+ minutes of as-yet-uncredited surveys, I’m about $4 towards a $10 gift card.

And that doesn’t count the nearly 30min I’ve spent partially filling out multiple surveys, only to be told after wasting several minutes of my time on each one, that I don’t fit the criteria. So that’s 30min with ZERO points to show for it.

Don’t waste your time or effort.

With the exception of some profile building surveys (which did not amount to any substantial points) I have not had any luck fitting the demographic for a single survey. I’ve been trying for months lol. I’ll get an email and then I’ll try it and always without fail I don’t get any points because after answering questions for a few minutes it tells me I don’t fit the demographic they’re looking for. Waste of time.

TolunaInfluencers is a scam! Everything was working perfectly fine until I received a certain amount of points. I went back to do more surveys one day and my account was logged out. TolunaInfluencers also wasn’t allowing me to report this problem so I had to go to an old thread in my email to even contact them. They claim my account was flagged and can’t be used anymore because my information couldn’t be verified but I’ve be using TolunaInfluencers for days now. I’m so upset! I spent so much time doing surveys and now they’re not wanting to payout. I wish I could give them 0 stars!

In addition to the above comments about needing to spend hours to get a reward being true, good luck qualifying for surveys:
1. Surveys are about 200 to 1200 points, most 15 to 20 mins. You need like 30,000 points to get small gift cards ($10)
2. You put in all sorts of data on your profile but I still have to waste time doing pre-survey questions for NO reward.
3. I’m a female in my early 40’s and I have never qualified for a single survey. I probably spend a couple hours doing questionnaires and being denied over a couple weeks.

It’s easy to navigate and it works well-enough, not saying it’s the best as I had to repeatedly hit the circle for it to understand I’m selecting that option instead of wanting to view the photo, but most of the times, it works well.
I read a review here that there are errors with the surveys, but I thought that was only in the beginning, like you cannot enter, but I was able to enter and thought they resolved the issue. However, even worse than not being able to start, is not being able to finish. I was half-way through the survey (according to the time), and it suddenly told me, « there is an error ». Like wow. Thank you for wasting my time. And they don’t have a save button or anything, they just simply tell you to « retake the survey ». It’s one thing to do another survey even if it was for an hour and completing it, but repeating the same survey that takes approximately 30minutes. No, thank you.
Sorry, but I deserve to get what I worked for, even if half of it, as it isn’t my fault you cannot save live answers or allow people to save their current results. Also, it’s not like I kicked myself out :).

I constantly take surveys and I found out I don’t qualify after I take the survey for no reason. I can spend 15 to 20 minutes and find out that I’m not qualified it. I get this photo that says “I’m sorry, it’s not you, it’s me”. What is the point of doing these if the company asking for our opinion doesn’t reward us with our time. I am disappointed. I am bedridden with a broken hip and have all the time to help. I can find another survey company that can value my time.

I filled out a profile before any surveys were presented. I am eliminated from many of these surveys due to my demographic. I don’t understand the purpose of the profile if not to screen for eligible surveys.
Also, too many surveys exclude me after I am 10 minutes or more in. Very frustrating and a waste of time.
I originally signed up as a tester for products. Have not seen one of these!

This is a honest to god review. Almost every survey ends in some kind of error. It always says it their fault not yours. If the survey doesn’t have a problem you get have way through it and it either says survey just filled up or just quits and that’s b/c you weren’t the type of person they were looking for. But it took me forever but I finally got to pick a reward it’s really not what I wanted but I’m so over this Toluna app I just picked to plant a tree in Peru just so I can move on and get away from TolunaInfluencers.

the fact that I can’t complete almost every single survey because: “Sorry you do not match the profile we are after”....after spending 10-15 minutes doing it is super annoying. I’ve only been able to actually complete maybe 8 surveys, but I’ve tried to take more than 40-50.

I really wish that there were smaller rewards for points at least over 3,000. All the rewards that are offered are only able to be received after getting a ludicrous amount of points, and it get disheartening when I am working really hard, but still have so much more to work towards. It’s almost insulting

I downloaded TolunaInfluencers . The only time I’ve received any points is for my profile set up. Every time I’m notified of a survey , I attempt to do it and get a “ you're not who we’re looking for” message. I’ve scored 3 stars, because I’m overly confident that eventually you’ll actually want my input on a survey. Being a Gen Xer basically means I’m invisible…

How can you ever earn points when you get rejected for half or more of the surveys. For example if feels y’all discriminate on maybe things like bc someone’s on disability they don’t qualify for surveys to earn points to get money. Not everyone on social security can’t shop, use the internet some ppl are on disability who were intelligent and worked until for ex cancer stops her. But I still am not to old or to sick or to poor to take surveys.

It takes a really long time to accumulate points and the gifts are way to many points. Had to spend 45,000 point for a
Measly 15 dollar gift card. 😩 OH and the point expire before you can actually get enough to use them.

Love TolunaInfluencers and have been using it for some time. One of the best things is the endless opportunities to complete surveys. They never cut you off, which is great, because, yes, there are many you don’t qualify for, or that don’t work on your device. But, with so many being offered, rarely have I ran out. So, as a casual survey app, it will take time and patience. But if you are bored, and wanna commit, the points will accumulate and some of the surveys are fun. HOWEVER…my biggest gripe are the rewards. When you go to cash in your points, and submit your request, 9 out of 10 times it will be rejected or returned 5-7 days after “processing.”Customer service is good, and your points are always returned, but it is frustrating to go through the process multiple times to obtain it. But keep in mind, at least your points are valid for one year. Regardless, I wish Toluna would work on having the rewards readily available upon point redemption, and not so much a chance on redeeming the award in a timely fashion, based on if Toluna has it available or not. Great app, and will continue to enjoy using, but just wanted to give Toluna a heads up on its biggest problem for both old and new users.

I just needed a survey to make cash as a full-time student and this pandemic makes life difficult. I thought TolunaInfluencers was honest, gave my 4 hours of my time but after completing surveys no points were granted but a message of no match will be shown, after completing a survey, it's so unfair. We are entering the new year 2022, do better!

I just downloaded TolunaInfluencers . Mind you I didn’t get my verification email until 6 minutes after it was sent and resent. I download TolunaInfluencers and I try to take surveys. Guess what? I don’t fit the match for any of them, so I’m just clicking them. None fit my match. Why advertise TolunaInfluencers if you don’t have surveys who match everyone????

Yet again another waste of time bs app. Only tried it because a reputable company I get paid from for product testing uses TolunaInfluencers for their surveys. As far as the random surveys goes it gets an F.

I always encounter “unexpected errors” while trying to take surveys. I’m using the latest version and my phone is updated. I just use Toluna’s website now.

As I expected, TolunaInfluencers doesn’t just give away money after taking one of two surveys. You have to be dedicated and take many surveys before you make enough points to redeem. The prizes are cool, though and look like they’re worth working for. However, whenever I am willing to take surveys, I get rejected more than I get to take surveys. The surveys that are available are always looking for a narrow demographic of people which makes it hard for me to earn points. Developers should work to match users with surveys they can actually take, so we don’t have to waste our time answering a few questions just to be told we don’t fit the demographic they’re looking for.
