I caved and downloaded the app despite the terrible reviews. I was a Toluna member years ago and saw activity on my social media and was excited to know this site was still around. I created an account completed a few surveys through Safari and would close the app pop up. After downloading the app I was already logged in and mid survey would be asked to log in or after 20 minutes of a survey (because let’s be serious if we take our take our time and read questions it takes longer than the estimated time) I’d get the the “you are almost done” page and could not click continue. I contacted customer services and now my account is locked. I can’t log into the app or online. Stick with taking surveys in your web browser. I just lost out on so many rewards hopping it was a glitch. This site was my favorite years ago and I got so excited when I came across it again.

Constant errors on the app. What’s the point to either finish or partially finish a long survey to only get an error message and no points for your time? And then take extra time to keep reporting it? That’s not fair at all. Otherwise it’s ok.
Update: Response from the developer is to let them know the details of the numerous errors(s), but like I said the time it takes to document which survey, what issues etc is not the customer’s job. Your team needs to get it together not put the burden on the customers! Very unfair. Your IT dept has the ability to track everything. Since they’re not doing that, hire an outside IT firm to solve your issues. Also since you’ve known about this problem for a while clearly indicated by previous comments, you obviously just don’t care

I estimate it takes more than FIVE full hours to get a $10 gift card, assuming you actually get credit for the surveys you complete. Not exactly a big reward. My biggest survey is (not surprisingly) still “pending” after nearly two weeks, while small surveys chave no problem clearing almost immediately. So after 2hrs of credited surveys, and another 30+ minutes of as-yet-uncredited surveys, I’m about $4 towards a $10 gift card.
And that doesn’t count the nearly 30min I’ve spent partially filling out multiple surveys, only to be told after wasting several minutes of my time on each one, that I don’t fit the criteria. So that’s 30min with ZERO points to show for it.
