My guest reserved a time slot of 2-6 and Swimply told me the payment was received $391.00. A few hours later the guest extended their stay 6-9, now Swimply is saying I only get $144.00 because the guest changed their reservation. They extended it, not cancelled it, the guest even showed me both prices she was charged and I need my money from Swimply
I booked a pool in mississauga Ontario Canada today for 5-7pm for my birthday and when I arrived no one was there the driveway was blocked off and no one answered the texts or phone number I was given. I left and was back home by 6pm very disappointed, emotional and frankly quite angry. I want a refund for this disaster. What is one supposed to do when they are ghosted by the host after payment ? I would like to speak to someone about this. All I wanted was to go for a nice swim on my birthday. Is there some rating system to find out who are legitimate hosts? Can someone please call me back?
When I set up my reservation I signed up around 25 people. And 18 dollar service fee was added. I guess tax? I don’t know but later swimply changed it to 1 guest and the host asked me to fix it. So I put it to 30 guests and was charged and extra 35 bucks!? Why!? I feel jipped!!

My wife and i had set a pool date for Aug1 2021... not once but now 3 times our reservation was canceled in a very short notice.... a rep contact us to see if we were interested in renting the place that canceled us... the host contact my wife and said SHE canceled All reservation..was no mistake as you rep explained.... my issue is that i booked 3 time and 3 time ive been canceled by host... i need all 3 of my payments made to yous..i have now less than 5 days to find something for my family Due to your errors and i need my money to do it... sad but tru...

I wouldfirst like to know if it is possible to speak with a live person??? I want to rent the pool from Mr. William P in South Hollard but I have questions that are not being answered. I see prices for this and that. I see the pool price is $330.00. No problem. There is another charge because we went to 20 to 25 and not the 15. But my main questions aren't being answered. Do we have use to a kitchen and a bathroom without paying an extra $500.00 , I don't need the billard room big screen and all the rest. Next can we pay a deposit and at least see the place. you all are asking for a lot of money on line for a place we have not seen nor spoke with a live person. Great idea but whole execution of this app is messed up. I tried to book a pool they took my payment. The host messaged me to inform me that the time i booked for was already booked. The app shouldnt have let me book and took a payment if it was already booked. So i cancelled. The host said she contacted swimply on my behalf for a full refund and they told her i was not charged at all. What they told her was wrong bc it showed a charge on my acct. i emailed them and explained what happened and it was not an error on my part or the host and asked for a full refund and never got a reply. The host ended up refunding me via venmo. This wouldve been my first booking and now it is my last. Also the messages are messed up as well it showed i was messaging myself when trying to message the host. I shouldve got refunded by the app and got a reply but didnt i had better communication w the host then the app and these errors were not mine or the host fault.

I’ve been sending multiple emails to them because they overcharged me. My total price would have been approximately $300 but got charged almost to $500. I’ve been in contact with someone through email, the person name is Corey. Once I’ve sent a pic of my bank statement of the charges, I never got a response back. I cannot believe they would do something like this. But it is typical for people like this to take more money without any explanation or any solutions to my problem. I would still like my problem to be solved because the extra charges should’ve went to bills.

I have a large number of complaints. I love the idea, but the way this app is constructed is extremely frustrating and especially the customer service.
1) Customer service is not helpful at all. I rented a pool that was a “catfish” pool. The photos demonstrated the pool and its environment with night lights and torches. The hosts also included a speaker along with a heated pool. However, after getting there, the entire pool and environment was pitch black, the pool was FREEZING that I could not even manage to get my body in there I was shivering so bad. The host was not even ready setting up the place until 20 minutes after my reservation, so he wasted my time as well. Furthermore, I travelled 2 hours to get to the location just to be disappointed. I contacted Swimply’s customer service team via email and no one has even bothered to refund me even atleast back in credits. I will not recommend this app to anyone because the customer service team does not care about your complaints. They told me to go talk to the host... how rude.
2) Once you find a pool, you can like it, but where do you even go to check the pools you’ve liked? You have to constantly keep going through the pools to find the specific one and it drives me insane.
3) Most of the locations on the map are off.
3) Prices are honestly way too high per hour.
I could keep going on and on, but you get the point. Don’t download this app. It’s a waste of money.
