Hello 2022-08-23

After a 8-10 min ride I tried to click end ride. I tried this for the app not to end the ride and keep taking money from my account. So I reset the app, only for it to log me out completely and not let me log back in. I had Wi-Fi and it wouldn’t let me log in to end my ride so it kept taking money out my account. After an extra Half an Hour of trying to log back in I just have up and just left it on. despite it still taking money out of my account. I honestly believe this was done on purpose to scam money out of me and is honestly disgusting. Hopp NEED to have a more secure app or need to STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE because luckily I hadn’t had a lot of money in my account for them to scam me out of, but that wont be the same for others. My opinion is DONT USE HOPP BIKES. Because once you think they are reliable, THEY WILL SCAM YOU!!!!!!!

How to fix Hopp app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Hopp app on iPhone
Update Hopp app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Hopp iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Hopp on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Hopp network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Hopp Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Hopp not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Hopp App
1. On android, goto Settings » Hopp » click [Force Stop]

Update Hopp to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Hopp App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Hopp » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Hopp.

Fix Hopp unable to contact server/ Hopp internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Hopp » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Hopp » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Hopp
