The top stories no longer refresh as of the 17th of January. You have to go to the sections tab and click on local news to find out what’s going on in or around town. Update much needed.
The old app was much easier to use. I used to check it several times a day, now maybe every other day. I find myself using the WKYT app as my primary news source now.
I like honest, unbiased news. I used their news app for years but it has recently focused mainly on politics and they can’t report on that without being biased.
Deleting this left wing rag. Report the news, don’t push an agenda. Totally disappointed.
Not a fan at all, switching to another news app. Do not like the set up, the old app was way more appealing and easier to view.

LEX18News this replaced was much better and to add insult to injury they now ask you to subscribe, if you wish to eliminate the advertising. LEX18 has been my go to news source for a long time because their app was superior to both 27 and 36. This “upgrade” puts them on par with the others. If they must ask for subscriptions, fine, but they should do it on the previous app. This was a move in the wrong direction.
Opening LEX18News pauses any audio currently playing. I’m uninstalling but will follow the release notes for updates to see when usability is improved.
Bring back Cruz! Too politically correct news station. Use to be fun news station but now just PC and people acting like robots afraid to say wrong thing and get fired.
