• Receives notifications for earthquakes thousands of miles away

• App freezes when overloaded due to a quake

The app still crashes after entering home base information. I know I’m not alone. Will this glitch ever be acknowledged and fixed? I don’t receive any alerts presumably because I can’t enter my location.

I have set up MyShake quite some time ago and even did a test. All is good however, it has never gone off. I have my location set on and both times have been in a Wi-Fi area. I was in New Zealand was in a 4.8 and a 4.7, and then the other day here at home I was in a 4.5. The device has never made a sound, or even shown anything in my history.

MyShake iPhone Issues and Solutions

How to fix MyShake app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the MyShake app on iPhone
Update MyShake app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall MyShake iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix MyShake on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve MyShake network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

MyShake Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix MyShake not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the MyShake App
1. On android, goto Settings » MyShake » click [Force Stop]

Update MyShake to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear MyShake App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » MyShake » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart MyShake.

Fix MyShake unable to contact server/ MyShake internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click MyShake » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto MyShake » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch MyShake
