Why do we have to sign up for auto pay to view our billing history? You’re a monopoly you’re gonna get your money or we get to sit in the dark so let us view our billing history. You only come out to read the meters half the time it needs to be done, every time the wind blows over 2 miles an hour the power goes out but not before it kicks on and off a bunch of times power surging are meters costing us even more money for the initial start up of every appliance in our house.(This happens almost once a month) why don’t you spend a little money and start burying some of these powerlines and maybe create a job or two. You bleed the people of New York dry and do very little to provide A quality service. The reason I’m writing this review is because I seen the ad for donations from your customers for solar equipment. I don’t believe in karma but I got my fingers crossed right now. I hope nobody’s dumb enough to send you money to help you purchase equipment to charge us to use. How do you sleep at night. I hope someday you have to struggle like the rest of us do, paycheck to paycheck choosing light over food sometimes. Shame on you, shame on you. Make no mistake, my judgment Weighs very little to the one that really counts.

Every time I see an update I hope it’s to fix one of the many issues with NYSEG . There’s no instant login, the bills don’t populate or notifications don’t come when to submit readings to list a couple basic issues. I still see only 1 bill from March and it’s September but have gotten paper ones. The meter readings don’t work most the time when you submit. Only decent feature is the outage map that shows you exactly what’s going on. NYSEG is so poor that at that point you may as well opt for text messages and check the website for outages instead. I’ve been patient for fixes and it doesn’t seem to have improved so it’s getting deleted.

Just had my power go out - downloaded App and reported it - then saw a map of all the outages and could zoom in and see info down to the street level. Told me 10 customers on my street and all 10 were out of power and gave an estimate when would be back on. Pretty impressed!!

NYSEG makes managing my this app account a breeze! You can quickly login with faceID, bills are readily accessible and load within a second. You can even set up alerts, view outage information, and make payments online. You can also send an email to this app for personalized assistance — their email support team is always responsive and thorough. Great job, this app!

I downloaded NYSEG because I was having issues with their website on my computer. I signed into NYSEG and authorized FaceID. While setting up notifications it appeared as though it wasn’t saving my options. So that was confusing.

I then closed out NYSEG and went to go back in to see if they saved and now I can’t even get past the login screen. No message or anything.

Does anyone test these things before they put them out there for public use?

NYSEG is great, I view my bill, and I can see when the most usage occurs. Paying my and keep on top of it, so I’m never late so easy and wonderful. It puts the control in our hands. Thank you for NYSEG it is very helpful. I recommend it to everyone. Thank you.

I had been saying for years that this app should have a phone app. It took a while but it was worth the wait.
NYSEG is colorful, easy to use, and convenient when paying my electric bill. I really like it and recommend it.

It’s make life easy when you can be anywhere in the states to pay your bill, like myself, I’m on the road a lot and using NYSEG makes it easy to just pay my bill! 👍🏽

The this app app is easy and it gives you options for payment. I spend alot less time paying my bill and i can do it anywhere at any tme. The overall app provides important info too.

Budget billing is a great thing for me. I can always see in NYSEG how much money was taken out and I can figure how much money comes out of my checking account for electric every month also.

With a few clicks you can submit meter reads and view/pay bill. Doesn’t get easier than that!

I’ve been using NYSEG for a while now with no issues.

Apparently, though, there’s been a redesign and now I can’t log in. I enter my info correctly and look for the log in button (which is now hidden under the keyboard). When I press the log in button, nothing happens: no logging in, no alert that the password was wrong, no feedback at all. NYSEG just sits there. The log in button doesn’t look like it’s enabled, but my credentials are entered, so what else do I need to do?

I can use the same credentials and log in on the website, so it’s not me.

Also, I have set up face is in NYSEG, but when I try to use Face ID, I’m given an alert saying is not set up yet.

I have been using NYSEG for two and a half years now to make payments and have never experienced any issues.

I love the convenience of NYSEG. Actual bill is available and auto-bill, account withdrawal or credit card payments options make it easy.

Load a card or bank payment and voila… simple payment options

Easy to use and customer friendly and accurate; wish the competitor that is blowing up the news would take ethical and friendly tips on how to treat their customers

Easily able to navigate. Quick sign in and much easier then calling or signing into the web page!! NYSEG is definitely a must have for any and all this app customers.

I have literally only been able to sign into NYSEG once in the 2 months I have had it on my phone. It just gives me a “oops something went wrong” message. I had strong wifi and all other apps worked fine during these times. The one time I was able to sign in, seemed like it would be useful. Too bad it’s near impossible to sign in.

The email site is difficult to use. Many times screen is frizen, like now. I cannot put in the subject natter, therefore I cannot send an email.
Also, customer Service us extremely sliw in returning emails, especially when a claim for damage is involved!

Every time I try to pay my bill through NYSEG ,the oops something went wrong message pops up. Have been trying almost every day for 2 weeks to pay my bill on NYSEG . And customer service doesn’t reply.

Time and time again I try to use NYSEG. I’ve changed and set up my log in and password so many times because it won’t allow me in. Complete waste of time. Wish we had alternatives to this app

Just downloaded NYSEG (excited) and then realized NYSEG is a piece of garbage (angry), it won’t login.
