This is life changing!

So i suffer with insomnia and bad anxiety and I don’t really know how to express it. MindfulnesscomMeditationApp really helps relieve anxiety no matter where you are. And this helps me sleep better with their sleep stories! Even though I don’t realy get to finish the stories i fall asleep withing 10-15 minutes. It helps me feel better about sleeping alone in the dark because I have HORRIBLE fear of the dark and I have breakdowns when my door is closed, even open im scared but MindfulnesscomMeditationApp makes me feel like im not alone and that i can finally have a good night rest in a long time. And it makes me comfortable doing things that I wouldn’t want to do in my everyday life. So I definitely reccoment if you or someone in your life suffers from bad anxiety or depression or also insomnia like me. Please speead this word, it can really help people in need. Supportive guidance, great for beginners

I’ve been using MindfulnesscomMeditationApp for several months now. I had run into Mrs. Mindfulness online and love her perspectives. She has worked with a variety of mindfulness “masters.”

I started with the free version of MindfulnesscomMeditationApp , and when they ran a special on the lifetime membership I decided to go for it. Even though I don’t always meditate daily, knowing I will always have this resource is great.

I like that there is a very short presentation before each daily meditation. It sets the mood and gives good food for thought. Then the theme is applied in the guided meditation.

At any time I can choose a different “track” (for example, stress relief or improving sleep). And each day I can choose how long I want to mediate (anywhere from 5 or 6 minutes to 20 and sometimes more are the options). The experience is very customizable.

There are two instructors, Mrs. Mindfulness (Melli) and a young man whom I like just as well, if not better.

I like that I can set a time of day for MindfulnesscomMeditationApp to remind me to meditate, too.

I would say this is a nice app for beginning and intermediate mediators. It helps build the meditation habit and skills. If I don’t want so much guidance I can just listen to my intro for the day and then mediate on my own. But I usually choose to listen to the structured meditation, at least for 5-6 minutes.

The opposite of anxiety

A few years ago when I heard someone say they had anxiety I didn’t think it was a real thing. Now I know it’s as real as me being alive. More help like this is needed I have family members also of different ages who lifestyle is affected in a negative way because of how it keeps them from doing a lot of productive good things such a social gatherings and business. It paralyze you in a sense. Restrict your movements by limiting your fun and business activities, if you don’t get it under control with meds and or therapy. I suggest both. Both together has helped me and my family extremely. That’s coming from a woman that didn’t believe anxiety was a real thing definitely not a disorder/illness that’s in need of solutions to solve in order to have a decent lifestyle.

Great content; seriously overpriced

I did the first three days of daily mindfulness videos. It starts with a video explaining a mindfulness concept and is followed by a short (or long, depending on your preference) guided meditation. I have to say I found the content compelling, insightful, and engaging. However, after your first three sessions, you have no access to any further content unless you sign up for the most wildly overpriced subscription I’ve ever seen in an app. $96/year is a little insane, especially compared to the many free alternatives. I’ve decided that instead of springing for this quality, but costly, content, to stick with Balance, another meditation app I’ve used that’s completely free to use and still totally life-changing. If the price comes down in future, which I expect it will eventually have to, then I will reconsider paying for these videos, which I did thoutoghly enjoy and benefit from. Cory eases you into acceptance for your own life

I’ve been a fan of Cory’s for a long time. The past few years, his teachings have helped me find a new way of showing up to my life with acceptance (thanks Oprah 2020 vision!) and with ease. I’m not fighting so hard and listening to him every day, even for 5 minutes, changes the quality of my life experience and how I deal with conflict and stress. For the better of course. In fact I am starting to be able to be grateful and enjoy a healthy relationship after many years of settling for a lot less from my partners as well as friends and family. Self love I have found is the power to grow within yourself and it takes lots of practice. Apologies for misspellings. I can’t see what I’m typing. It shows up as white vs black text.

Why this app is amazing 👍

MindfulnesscomMeditationApp is amazing because I do w the time and it definitely helped with my anxiety. My hole family did the sleeping one and we all fell asleep in less than ten minutes. Witch normally mom mom is up all night but she actually got ten hours of sleep. I woke up with an positive attitude. My dad fell asleep in less than ten minutes normally he has to watch a lot of tv in order to fall asleep. And finally my brother he had no trouble waking up. The days he didn’t t use MindfulnesscomMeditationApp my mom had to wake him up a half and hour before school just so he could wake up. And I love how you have so many options to use. Self compassion for difficult times

Acceptance of the difficult; the sensations/ associations, yet anchoring in the reality and refuge of the breath.
This meditn was one i cd sit with: it soothed my distress aboyt today’s 7- day deal-with-your-inner-critic. ( My opinion:): John got too focused on the negative, the “pain points”, w/o enough reinforcement of the ways to challenge and transmute the critic(s). I was unable to leave a review for this one so im slipping it in, along with a re-direct to what i did appreciate: thanking the critics for their opinions. Noting the secondary gains of being stuck in the cycles of insufficiency.
Anyway, both voices are excellent and the English accent is a fine topping.

Review for the Mindfulness app

MindfulnesscomMeditationApp came at the right time in my life as I face issues with my heath and a recent house fire. It is a daily reminder to stay grounded and present. It used to be that meditation brought up a sense of irritation in me. Hurry up and get it over with was the feeling I had with it. I knew there was something good on the other side of all that so made a commitment to practice daily. I am now experiencing the benefits. Meditation with Corey

I’m in constant pain, both physically due to a cancer diagnosis and mentally because I’m off of all antidepressants and am trying to heal my mind more spiritually. This 1s session was somewhat helpful to me except the focusing on posture a bit too much. Mornings are the toughest time for me. My thoughts just ruminate from one thought to another and I’m usually in bed crying because 1st of all, Im a 68 year old woman who’s been dealing with cancer and physical pain and also, I suffer from extreme anxiety and depression. I’m willing to stick with this because it’s helped me to get up, feed my dog and try to make it through the day 🙏

Life Changing

I love MindfulnesscomMeditationApp! I’m getting towards the end of my free trial and have decided to purchase the subscription. I love the daily practice of meditation and the knowledge and reminders that the speakers give. I have used MindfulnesscomMeditationApp twice in the middle of the night when I woke and couldn’t stop my ruminating negative thoughts. I fell asleep with the sleep app running on my pillow and I don’t remember falling asleep. I don’t understand how it works but I don’t care because it works!

Soothing and understanding

I find these meditations so much more comprehensive than others because the teachers speak in plain and relatable language. Their words allow you to be forgiving to your flaws in practice or if you are struggling with a specific concept their kind words are incredibly loving and understanding. In a world where everyone and everything feels against you at times, these meditations are just a reminder that there are people that truly care and their words are authentic and human. Kelly Boys is the BEST

I want to start off by saying MindfulnesscomMeditationApp is amazing. After using Headspace, Calm, and Simple Habit, I would rank mindfulness as #1. (Simple Habit is a close second though). One of the meditation (teachers? Facilitators?) on MindfulnesscomMeditationApp Kelly Boys is hands down the best. Everytime I click on one of her guided meditations I get excited for the calmness that lies ahead. Cory Mascura is great too, and really everyone I’ve listened to has been awesome! Disappointed

After I first purchase your app I was unable to inner a password to set up the account. I tried five complicated passwords still not except. I understood password will stay connected.
Now I have got a password to work your system does not connect with my safari. I do not understand threesome it connects to all of my other apps.
I have had it for over a week and been unable to use it. With the difficult password very difficult it is not convenient to enter each time I use it.
Your system requires me to have to go through a very long sign in process to get to the particular app I want to listen to. I cannot find anyway to speak to your customer service to rectify the above problems.

After trying multiple apps I found the one !

I was introduced to Cory Muscara by dr. Scott Barry Kaufman in his “transcend” course.
His humble demeanor and deep insights are so endearing and effective.
His teachings and meditations have kept me strong through the pandemic ( I’m a front line health care worker )

The free content is wonderful don’t get me wrong, but just not enough of it, I love that u can pick 5-30 minutes sessions it really helps me be able to fit my meditation into my busy life. If You’re willing to pay for the subscription plan for MindfulnesscomMeditationApp I definitely do suggest it, the paid sections have A LOT of content for you to go through. I love everything about it:
-The meaningful lead-in instructions, option for length of each meditation, ability to choose focus of meditations if desired

Sleepover

My friend and I were at a writing conference. She said her favorite part was when the keynote speaker took us through a mindfulness exercise. I suggested that we use a mindfulness meditation as we settled in to sleep that night. She told me the next morning that she rested more deeply than she had in a long time and planned to use it when she went home to her husband and children. It was a great way to feel relaxed in a new environment with so much on our minds from the conference.

Chose to do with eyes open this time. We had a heavy rain this morning and last night. The rain has filled all the puddles with fresh clean water. The debris from the evergreens float softly framing the outline like its own picture window. The water ripples with drops that have still clung to the trees, also as the catch the latest of breeze! The grass after a dry patch seems to green in front of my eyes as it soaks in the new moister and now shining sun! The birds sing the crow caws and the butterfly flutters! Yes, when Cory sends out simple, do-able reminders with his calming, reassuring voice I can’t help but feel better. I actually love all things Cory! Simple reminder

This meditation is simple and really helps me be reminded to focus on one thing at a time. Hearing her say not to glance at my phone while speaking with another person is something I often do... it was a painful reminder of not only being impatient but sending a signal to the other person that I’m not really paying attention (how rude!) Meditation defeats rumination that leads to depression.

Negative rumination has been a major contributor to my borderline depression for most of my life. As Stephen Ilardi, PhD, says in The Depression Cure- the six step program to beat depression without drugs, “Depression is closely linked to the toxic thought process called rumination-the habit of dwelling on negative thoughts, turning them over and over in your mind.”
Mindfulness meditation is teaching me not to fight those negative thoughts but to detach from their hold in a more peaceful way.

To be honest, it’s been quite a while since I’ve visited Mindfulness- I found that once my home practice settled in, that addition outside influences were a distraction more than help- odd isn’t it?
