Downloaded VisitorTollPass and set my trip for our visit to Florida last week(1/17/25). Went to kiosk, scanned code, got pass, added plate and all went well!! Once back at airport we turned in our pass to the kiosk thru the slot in the front... We have a few more trips coming up and this is where the issue started. Went back into VisitorTollPass and you can not get past the return pass screen.. This is absolutely ridiculous. Then I started reading reviews people wrote in last year so and everyone else is complaining about that same issue!! Only workaround is to create a new account?? What have VisitorTollPass developers been doing? None have even addressed any of the people's concerns about this.. Insane...

I’m giving VisitorTollPass one star because after a long research, I found that it’s only good for selected rental companies.

If you are using “Nextcar” rental, you cannot use VisitorTollPass. Very disappointed because I would have saved over $100

Can’t use it a second time. Having an app makes no sense. Very amateur.

Despite activating VisitorTollPass as instructed, I was billed for “lane violations.” There is only very poor customer service to try to correct the overbilling. I am paying twice.

Do not waste your time with VisitorTollPass. Just get your toll passes from the car rentals and avoid the hassle and headache after a long day of travels.

Doesn’t work for all rental car agencies. We went through the whole setup process only to learn it doesn’t work with Fox rental

VisitorTollPass cancel my use 2 days before we left. I couldn’t reactivate the trip. Horrible interface no ability to start a new trip. I’ll find alternatives

Down for maintenance until 1:30 AM. If there’s no app, they can’t do anything for you. Super glad they’re paying two employees to sit there next to the kiosk when it won’t be working for another four hours. Always a pleasure visiting Florida!

Used this during our recent Florida trip. Turned our placard in at the Orlando airport kiosk before we left. Get a call a few weeks later saying they can’t find the placard and charged me $10. Seems very scammy. Totally not worth the savings of just paying the regularly priced tolls.

Very bad experience. I returned the car earlier and sent the proof of return to the customer service. despite that they charged me for all tolls for the full original trip. Despite the statement of the rental company about the car return they refused to stop charging saying that my original trip was longer!!! I ended up paying tolls for other people without beeing able to stop it.

This seemed like a great idea, but it failed completely. Some of the tolls were picked up by the Visitor Toll Pass, but others were not, so I ended up getting a bill from the rental car company for tolls fees. I called Visitor Toll Pass and they said to email them the bill and they'd handle it. It's been a month with no response.

They also never refunded my $10 deposit for the toll tag even though I put it in the return bin at the airport.

Instead of saving money, I spent an extra $20 in "Convenience Fees" from the rental company and unreturned deposit from Visitor Toll Pass.

Save yourself some time and money by skipping this service and just let let the rental car company bill you.

I signed up with ease and was able to use my QR code easily at the airport. After that, I kept checking my account activity and it wouldn’t update the whole week.

Towards the end of my rental, I started receiving multiple emails that my trip was now active and that my license plate had been paired successfully. And when I say multiple, I mean 20-30 of the same two emails I mentioned above over and over.

I wanted to book a new trip trip but VisitorTollPass is frozen on the Return Your Pass page and I cannot move away from it. I even tried deleting VisitorTollPass and reinstalling it, and I still cannot log back in or clear the notification that I need to return the pass.

I see previous reviews from 2 years ago having the same issue. I can no longer use my email address in VisitorTollPass to make a new reservation because it says that user name is not available.

The system itself was wonderful and easy, but VisitorTollPass is not very good.

The idea is wonderful but VisitorTollPass is horrible if you want to use it more than once. I had no problems on my first trip. When I booked my second trip, I had to recreate my account. I’m trying to book my third trip and I still have a credit but there is no way to do so. Why doesn’t VisitorTollPass allow multiple trips?

Love this for when I visit my parents. Avis would charge me hand over fist for tolls if I used their eToll or just added tolls to the rental. Using this have saved me money!

However, VisitorTollPass is a little rough. Been unable to log in numerous times and VisitorTollPass doesn’t seem to function very well.

Worth saving $40-$50 in tolls, yes!

Don't love that I have to log in every time I open VisitorTollPass ,but it worked very well on my trip to bypass Hertz's fees for tolls.

This was absolutely the slickest way to go. I’m not familiar with Orlando and was wondering if this would actually work. Well, I am sold! Be sure to enter your license plate number, I never had anything come back in error. What a savings! The clerk at Budget wanted me to get their program, I told him I was trying out the Toll Pass… his reply, “Yea, if it works.” What a horrible thing to say. I had enough to think about, didn’t need that unwelcoming comment. Toll Pass worked perfectly, I logged in without difficulty.

Remember to use it at the airport!!!

Worked great. Had to walk over from MCO terminal B to terminal A to get the tag so it would’ve been nice if the kiosk was in both terminals. Other than that we had no issues. Make sure you drop off the tag on your way back inside the terminal.

Wish I knew about this sooner! I’ve visit Florida often and always pay for the rental cal toll passes which are over $10/day even if you don’t pass through a toll. VisitorTollPass was easy to signup and use. I’m not sure why there are such bad reviews. I will be using this every time I visit Florida again.

Was looking for a viable option back in February 2024 to drive around Florida. Was ready to pay for the car rental toll pass, glad I didn’t!
My car rental never went through, while stuck at Orlando Airport I saw the signage to sign up for this pass. I downloaded app from App Store and went and got my pass. A gentleman was there to help and that he did!
It cost me an initial $10 to start the pass. I attached the licensee plate in VisitorTollPass just in case. Put the placard on mirror and off I went. Well, drove to Jacksonville and back to Orlando airport. Returned my rental car, dropped off placed in specialized box, took my flight back home.
About 3 weeks later, maybe 4, my credit card reflected a credit in the amount of $7.
Was ready to pay minimum $10 plus per day for the rental agency toll charge. That would have cost me and extra $30 which the car rental would have pocketed. To my surprise it cost me $3 for a whole three days!
Highly recommend using this option if you can!
