If you’re looking for a reason not to download Alignable, look no further. I’ve never posted an app review and am doing it because of how much this HURT my business.

Aside from the fact that it’s a bad layout, poor UI/UX and requires a bunch of convoluted steps to get started, the worst part of Alignable is that it can spam your ENTIRE EMAIL LIST.

this app has now spammed every. single. contact. I had clients emailing asking if I meant to send that to them. So if you don’t want to spam your clients, ex girlfriends, 3rd grade teacher, and grandma then just don’t download Alignable

this app is the place to grow your business in ways no other site can do. I’ve experienced nothing but positive results from all the people on this site. I absolutely love the platform, simplicity and layout of this app and if you’re looking to take your business and career up to the next level... you’re in the right place!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I’ve tried to like Alignable but it needs a lot of work. Good idea / mediocre execution. It may evolve so I’m not going to delete it yet but it isn’t ready for prime time and I don’t recommend it. Definitely don’t give them your contacts as this app is a spam machine.

Things I don’t like:

You cannot join via Alignable (yes, really)
Poorly design app and function

Every time you log in they try to get you to spam your contacts. At every turn they ask you to invite you contacts and then want to charge you to connect with them!

You have to pay to connect with businesses after a limited number of “credits”.

To upgrade is expensive for an app without a proven track record of being a valuable service

Glitchy interface

Overall, I give the company an A for the idea a C- for app design and a failing grade for their value proposition.

Alignable seems built for one purpose - to collect every possible email it can. Every time you login, it prompts you to connect with every person who you have ever emailed that is already in their system, or to invite every person you have ever emailed who is not in their system. The idea seems reasonable (like Nextdoor for small business), but I haven’t seen any useful activity other than their multi-daily no-reply auto emails prompting you to add more info to your profile.

Feels unethical, this fast bait and switch— what is the fee and is it automatically renewed or one time only?
Otherwise it seems like a good networking app.

Alignable sent requests for connections to people in my contacts without my permission and played if off like I was accepting an invite from someone else. I only discovered this when a contact of mine asked me about an invite they said I sent them when on my end I had accepted an invite I thought they had sent. Neither of us had sent the invite. Not an honest way to do business.

Very happy with Alignable and it is a great marketing tool for growing your presence in any business, small or large. You don’t have to be super tech savvy to use it and is super beneficial to boosting business, promoting events. Try it, you will like it.

The tool for small business local networking. This version is much faster and easier to use. Not just a feature upgrade but also an ergonomic upgrade.

It’s useless for finding new contacts. They just want yours.

So if you allow them access then you can connect with people you are already connected with. AND SO CAN THEY!

But if you don’t, even if you find people in your network; they will tell you that connection is outside your network.

I had one that sent a request to connect with me; and they still denied the connection when I asked to confirm it!

It takes a lot of work to find anyone and hope they may let you connect with them.

If I hadn’t already connected to a few of my accounts. I’d delete Alignable for sure. Now I’m debating. But I’ll probably delete it.

This company clearly is demonstrating some shady networking efforts by falsely acting as a company, and messaging another local company pretending to want to connect.
When this happened to me, I reached out to the owner who I know, and he confirmed he never sent the message. Further more, he never even set up an account.

Not a good way to start off a brand.

Does not make sense to have an app on my phone that will not use it unless I am strictly in Wifi. I have unlimited data and every other app works. Makes no sense that I am unable to continue to network unless I am at home in front of my computer in the web. What is the point of having an app?

This website is nothing but a scam to harvest email addresses and contact information to spam people with. If you ask them to delete your information, they require A PICTURE OF YOUR GOVERNMENT ID in a written request and then they claim they’ll get back to you in a few days. Alignable should be removed from Alignable Store and investigated by the feds

I love this app. It has been most lucrative in building my business. It is a must for small business in my opinion.

If there is a way to block invitations from going to everyone in my contact list, I haven’t found it. Reaction has been along the lines of you are smarter that this and should know better.

I downloaded Alignable but there is no sign up, only login. The developer responded that sign up is on the website and let me know Alignable description states that. That is so lame. Add signup to Alignable and I’ll both sign up and change my rating.

A great site that makes connecting and networking easier.

Somehow they got an email address I haven’t used in 15 years and there is no way to change it.

This is a cool idea to connect with fellow creatives and business owners but Alignable is super glitchy.

The sign in is so glitchy I can’t get in to Alignable . There isn’t a “done” button after entering the password so the keyboard won’t go away.
