I just purchased an Elite FS and Lowrance is totally useless for it. It doesn’t sync as advertised. When you sync it, it transfers whatever routes or waypoints it decides to transfer and erases everything you have created in the plotter. It’s missing many markers leading to many harbors and marinas. By contrast, Navionics has all the local makers and better and easier way to create and edit routes. By the way, I just transferred 30 routes and over 100 waypoints from my navionic’s app without interfering with the routes I had created in the plotter itself. Lowrance has a long way to go to catchup to Navionics.

I’m hoping to get someones attention seeing how there is no help on this anywhere online. I have a paid subscription to Lowrance. In the past it was amazing. All of the sudden this year the Navigate To or Go To button is missing for quick easy moving from one spot to another. If i can get someone to answer me why or how to get it back (do not tell me to uninstall and reinstall. done that already) i’ll be happy to change my rating. Otherwise Lowrance has become pretty much useless and I will cancel my subscription.

When Lowrance works I absolutely love it. But it seems at this point every other time I open Lowrance the maps wont load at all, or wont load any of the resolution/contours etc when you zoom in. Doesn’t matter if I have them downloaded for offline use even. Support keeps telling me to uninstall and reinstall which then deletes my offline maps again anyways. At the end of the day I’m glad I have Navionics downloaded because I have 0 faith in Lowrance from a reliability standpoint, and would not trust it to be there if I needed it on the water.

Was hoping this could replace my Navonics boating app but it’s unable to make even the simplest of automatic routes. Update: still not working on even the simplest automatic routes. I have screenshots that I could share but no way to get these to them since the support isn’t working. Update: got even worse, maps won’t even load, says this may take a minute, I gave it an hour.

In this day and age, it should be really straightforward to pair your devices. Lowrance is not straightforward in that way.
It’s not clear what Lowrance offers. You can pay money to have access to maps, but are those maps better than navionics or better than what you can map out on your own?

I would be very interested in Lowrance if I were able to sync my go live maps from my this app unit to my personal device.

I am thankful that this app allows live mapping on your unit. With that in place, I have not needed a navionics subscription either.

Customer service and replies for Lowrance have been superb though.

There’s hardly any depth readings on the charts. I just bought a this app Ti2And it also did not show any depth in the waters around me. I ended up tying something up in my prop and now I have to go dive under the boat to see what it is and fix it. this app told me to send the unit back to them. It’s brand new never been used.
Lowrance seems to be just like the GPS unit no death readings

I like that my waypoints transfer over from my graph but I would like to see a better platform for editing and creating waypoints to transfer to and from my units. With all the same waypoint icons and options that are built in the units.

Lowrance connects to my Elite 7 Ti2, but Lowrance won’t show the connected unit. When I follow the instructions in Lowrance to add a unit, my unit says I’m already connected to Lowrance ...but Lowrance doesn’t show it. Yet, the waypoints on the unit sync to Lowrance . So, I’m confused. Bottom line: should I care if Lowrance doesn’t say I’m connected to the unit...even though it really is? To ask it differently, would I gain any additional functionality from Lowrance if it showed that I was connected to the unit? Thanks.

I have tried to log in using existing this app account and can’t make it past password input. I have also tried pasting into chrome and safari manually and have made it past the password input which brings me back to the apps login process, which again does not work. I have updated my phone to latest update and I’m still unable to log in. I’m sure this will be a great app to pair with my reveal and elite fs if I can get Lowrance to work.

Please add a feature to the this app app where you can make folders for different lakes and export them to GPX into your units and keep them organized on Lowrance

Really nice and really easy to use I love that it tells you what the symbols means it’s a big deal for me to understand what I’m looking for and what my surroundings are 🤩👍

I fish offshore on allot of different boats, most of the time the boats do not have any marked coordinates of where to fish. so I use Lowrance most of the time rather then take the time to type the coordinates into the plotter on the boat. Works great on and offline.

I love being able to mark places on my phone and going back home and finding other high percentage spots around where I have been catching fish.

The sonar an side view are great. I can now see everything that on the bottom of the lake. Also the maps have all the information you need to get on top of fish.

I’ve played around with Lowrance quite a bit on my last trip out and I gotta say, I’m impressed. Lowrance is super easy to use. I planned my trip on it before I even left the house. Also it was great to see the images from my consol unit up front on my tablet.

Lowrance is really nice. I can sync my information from my on board electronics and have it in the palm of my hands even when Im bot in the boat. Most of my tournament prep happens way before I put my kayak on the water. Lowrance gives me a point of reference on what Ive done in the past with routes and waypoints. I have all that information on my phone now. So Im am really enjoying this connectivity.

What a joke. I purchased a brand new elite 9 because I had great luck with a Hook series chart plotter because of all the features. Lowrance does not work, so I tried to use the chat multiple times and the response time is listed as “usually less than 3hrs.” How is that any help?
