FishWise I thought was gonna be good but FishWise does nothing but lag I have had to reinstall FishWise over and my over I mean they got a good idea but they exude it poorly I think I will stick it my other fishing apps and I think the comments on the reviews are fake. And they added them there self and all it does a lag a freeze were the point you got to uninstall it a reinstall it for it to work it’s so far the worse fishing app I have used... don’t waste your time to download this maybe in the future they will have all the bugs worked out to were I can right a better review but not right now

I love FishWise and I would've def. gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t for it freezing every single time i tried to use it. and i mean EVERY. SINGLE. TIME you open it it’ll freeze.

Update:
After my last review, I was contacted by the developer and said they would work on FishWise and its problems but nothing has changed and it still crashes every time I try to see other people’s logs and even after I refresh the whole app it doesn’t work. Terrible execution of an app with a good potential.

I absolutely love FishWise I’ve used it for a few months and it works great however over the last week it hasn’t loaded so I in installed and reinstalled and now it works fine. So if you’re having that problem just delete it and redownload it. And if any developer sees this I have a iPhone 6s and the latest software.

Wow!! I gotta say now this is the best app ever!! I like it a lot!! I don’t think anything could be better!! I do have a suggestion for FishWise!! I would love it if it had a shop for like hats, T-shirts and other fun stuff!! But other than that!! I would totally recommend FishWise to anyone who likes looking at fishing posts!! Kinda reminds me of Facebook a little. Lol

I haven't found a way to edit a log once it's logged. If any information is incorrect, you have to delete it and start over. Is there a chance you could add an edit option to your own post?

At first it was fine when I didn’t subscribe. The moment I subscribed it turned bad. Now every time I open FishWise it freezes or crashes or is loading and crashes. Should have just kept it like before and maybe it’d be a useful app.

Paid $50/yr mostly to see who owns properties, so that I could request permission to fish. That feature disappeared a while ago. Now FishWise crashes immediately upon trying to open. I’m done.

I have been an avid hunter for many years and have never seen a hunting and fishing app that compares to this one. Other hunting apps are usually difficult to use/navigate and do not provide enough quality information to bother using them. I love FishWise because it is a one stop shop for everything I need to plan and decide my hunting and fishing trips like gps, weather, season regulations and logging history of successful and unsuccessful days in the woods or on the water. It's great to finally have an app that provides accurate information, is simple to use and is free!

I downloaded app a couple weeks ago worked well the first week then it just will not update to a new week. I don't need last weeks info I need this week. I really like the approach of FishWise but it is worthless in its existing condition.
Hopefully they can get it working we are in middle of heavy bow season.
I also sent a note to FishWise master and they responded within an hour. They checked on their system and found FishWise was working for my area, so they asked if I had the latest update and if not to delete the stand info and redo. I went ahead and deleted the whole app and reloaded it and now it works fine. I believe this is an issue with the iPhone 6. Travis helped me and I am well pleased with this info and FishWise .

I've only had FishWise for 2 days and I already love it. It is literally the best app out there. I hunt and fish a lot and FishWise tells me everything. I know get to know the moon phases and when the rut actually starts. I get to know the depth of where to fish and the predictions for it. I really think this is the best thing. If your a avid hunter or fisher you need FishWise you want regret it. Thanks for FishWise guys

By far the most useful hunting app I have tried. It gives up to the minute info , and I also like the fact that it takes the barometric pressure , moon phase and wind in to account, definitely saves time not having to hunt all three up and then compare them, Highly recommend you at least try it. !!!

FishWise is seriously the best thing I've ever downloaded, wouldn't be as much as an avid hunter without it, helps out more than you would believe, you can mark your spots and get a total digest of the weather and hunting/fishing conditions, also record kills and catches, love FishWise, it's owned by some great people too, thanks again

This has temperature within a few degrees, wind speed is extremely accurate, and tells you if you are prerut, rut, or post rut. It gives you their prediction on the major feeding times that are correlated to the ones I found on the solunar tables. So I would say it is worth checking out.

I like the idea of adding locations and people sharing what and when. Needs to be a little more user friendly. Like if I didn't have my location setup before entering a log give me a button there that lets me set it up. Right now I have to completely back out of that and setup the location and fill the rest out again on the log.

I like the direction they took with the user interface but it's got a lot of bugs. Many times it forgets my saved stand location. I have to click different icons before it shows it. It also has trouble displaying the correct dates. It showed the previous week for nearly 5 days after the last date shown had passed. Please make make it more reliable.

Allows to ad hunting and fishing spots and tells best times to go. I like seeing what other guys are killing and catching and what they use. I had an issue and they took care of it. Better than the others that I've paid for.

FishWise is very easy to use and very helpful! For example if I have someone who hasn't hunted my farm before I can show them all of our stand locations so they can know where to hunt! I am excited to use it this fall!

While no app can tell you everything, this one is does well. this app and two other apps (to fill in overall) give me a pretty good picture of possible fishing success. Like the updated interface and pinning my favorite fishing spots. The new feature for looking up state fishing info and licensing is nice since I travel a lot with my fishing pole!
