Takes Hue to Next Level
Fantastic app I have around 87 (and growing) different connected hue devices across two bridges (so far) and this is the first app that has been able to seamlessly leverage both in one user experience. Plus it extends on features and capabilities of native Hue...and goes well beyond the standard out of the box Hue experiences for personalization. Very impressed as a consumer and professionally as an Exec IT leader. Well done here Hue Essentials.

This is the best app for your hue lights, easy to use and affordable in my opinion. I think i payed like 6 dollars for the full version and it works great, has lots of flowing color options andddd it doesn’t stop even when your phone is asleep which is awesome! It does not react to sound, but honestly it doesn’t even matter because it does so many other things too. 10/10 would recommend.

MUST HAVE for PHILIPS HUE!
HueEssentials is a game changer! It provides such cool and easy color effects that can’t be achieved with other apps. The color effects won’t disappoint! Developer Thomas is also very active on the community page and is responsive over emails. There was a bug that I brought up and he fixed it and replied to me! This man can have all my money. Thanks Thomas!

Best Alternative to Philips Hue App
IMHO this is the best iOS alternative to the native Philips Hue app. Philips killed the widgets in favor of Shortcuts and redesigned the UI, which went from simple and functional to a slow & buggy navigation nightmare. Well done dev, thank you. Please keep the widgets!!

Music Compatibility does not work.
I bought the full version of HueEssentials (5.99) with hopes that the Music syncing capabilities that are advertised would work. They didn’t. I have hope the developers will fix this in the future but as of now it’s worthless. Don’t waste your money.

Maybe it Works?
Couldn’t get past the set up in the blue tooth mode. Searched for lights added them and accidentally answered yes to add another and it sat in search mode even though there wasn’t another light and never stopped searching.
