Works terribly now

this app used to work very well, now it just crashes constantly and reboots my iPad multiple times an hour. Really not great for client facing situations…

I think they are very bad

If you want the application to be stable, you must disclose privacy. I turned off HollyView 's positioning function, and prohibited HollyView from using the cellular network, and then HollyView could not connect to the transmitter.

Followed directions, won’t connect

Downloaded HollyView , followed the instructions to connect, including connecting to wifi and adding last 7 of transmitters sn number. App goes back to Connect page. Finally after entering same info 10 times it opens HollyView , but screen is black. No video. I am prompted to join another wifi network called HLD_null umpteen times, when I try to join it says I can’t. When I don’t join nothing happens but am prompted o er and over again for it
Sadly it would be a nice feature if it worked

It keeps crashing my IPad Pro

Worthless. Spent quite a bit of money and HollyView is absolute garbage. Wont stay connected and shuts down my IPad. Please address this asap

App functionality glitch

Trying to setup for an upcoming live stream project, devices work fine. The only thing that doesn’t work is HollyView. It picks up the transceiver fine. However, when I tap on the three dots, it asks for a stream address, I tap the box to enter my stream key, it pops up with “Address is abnormal”. Also, the text is invisible. I am using an iphone 12 pro max

Something is wrong

I have been using the mars 300 pro for years without any trouble on my iOS devices. In the last week all my devices are now showing “check input”. System works fine when connected to mars 300 pro receiver. Problem with the latest update maybe?

It would be great if you could get this fixed.

MOBILE APP IS TRASH

Tells me I’m connected. The receiver and transmitter are connected and displaying to an external monitor and yet I keep getting an error message on my mobile device saying please “check inout source” I’ve exhausted every resource for a resolution to no avail...terrible support, customer service and HollyView doesn’t work. Not bringing this on a professional set again.

You are required to give them your precise location

The this app app requires you to give Hollyland your precise location whenever you’re using HollyView . I don’t see a reason for this to be necessary other than data collection. When I turn off location services, HollyView no longer works. Even when I disable “precise location” HollyView no longer works. This is a huge invasion of privacy and I wouldn’t have bought my Hollyland products if I had known this were the case. There should be no reason for me to have to give my exact location for my phone to pair with my Mars M1 transmitter.

Deserving of Zero Stars

Nothing but an absolute headache. Constant glitching, constant freezing, constant WiFi issues, constant bullsh*+. Constantly infuriating me as a director not able to see the wireless monitor on my iPhone or iPad like I should be able too. I sincerely hate HollyView with a passion. Horrible experience

New app update bug showing some random inbuilt LUT

Please fix this issue ASAP where I am not able to see accurate footage outputting from our BM URSA Mini pro (Rec709).

It’s just showing some random LUT where footage look extra saturated and dark, even though there’s no LUT applied on this app app.

Doesn’t connect

This is more for the Mars 300 pro . And the fact it doesn’t connect to a 5G iPhone pro max . It keeps saying no internet connection .in the WiFi option. So I can’t even use HollyView once I figure this error out . I’m open to any suggestions

What a piece

Of junk. iPhone 14 And no stream. I have it connected to the wifi. Nothing. Where is the FAQ and step by step to use this? I’m sending back if no response. I’ll be marking it as defective.

Outdated support. Could be a winner with more support

How do I remove all the LUTs that HollyView comes with? I want to add my own but I can’t delete the presets!! I can’t store any without deleting them…so that update is useless to me. Please help. There is no folder created on my device so I can’t use the file path method….

Other than that, I am happy it doesn’t constantly crash anymore. I started using again after they fixed HollyView . Without APP support this product is not special. Accsoon app is much much better.

OK with 2 huge issues

1. Works decently but requires you to enter the serial number of the transmitter EVERY SINGLE TIME you go out of HollyView and back in. 2. HollyView requires you to provide your location before it will work. This is an invasion of privacy.

Please fix these issues Hollyland.

Needs de-squeeze option

Works good but needs de-squeeze option!

Working well now!

I just did a full day shoot with 2 clients connecting on phones with my mars 400s all day long. I was able to power down and up again many times and they were still connected! Seemed very stable!! - Good work on this latest upgrade. It really made a huge difference in the days shoot and clients were super happy. Thanks!!

For the future: if there can be added any advanced functions like adding LUTS or at least contrast, so we can view raw footage not as low contrast images would be terrific to have and really make this shine.

It works if you turn off some settings.

On my iPhone, I had to turn off the cellular data. App version 2.4.5 /iOS 13.2.3

On my iPad, I turned off Bluetooth.

After that, the video signals were able to pass through.

Happy camper! Happy Holidays 🎄 everyone, and happy shooting!

App Not Working on iPhone?!?

Turn off your Cellular Data! 💥

iOS 14?

I got this to work on my not yet updated iPad but can not get it to work on my iPhone 10r iOS 14. Just keeps saying there’s no signal from the camera as I’m watching the signal on my iPad. On iPad it works great. Not sure of all the functionality of the buttons yet. Focus assist seemed to do nothing. Zebras and false colors worked. But I just started using it last night.

Thanks,

Dean

Works great!

HollyView works really well. I think the bad reviews are old. I have no issues!
