Amazing programs with excellent information provided by terrific story tellers.

5 star worthy content, but app needs a better search function and there needs to be a section on the home page where we can easily access the Crown Jewels of the platform, the original 3 SOMM films.

this app offers premium content for every wine lover, regardless of your knowledge or experience with win or the industry. The shows and documentaries they produce are both educational and entertaining, making them a perfect pairing with a glass of wine.

My only complaint is that I wish new content rolled out more frequently. Though, at only $50 per year, there is already tremendous value in what is currently offered. Definitely worth a taste.

Only negative is that Jason Wise constantly talks about his accomplishments in every podcast. He some how finds a way to work in how amazing he is and what he’s done for the industry, surprisingly into every episode. In his own right he has done so much and SOMM movies and tv is amazing but geez we are already here, we bought the subscription we get it. Other than that being annoying as a avid podcast listener! This is amazing and a must have for anyone interested in wine!

This new app and streaming service I outstanding. If you like food and wine, and enjoyed the. SOMM film series, you’ll love this new offering. It captures all the great qualities present in the films, storytelling, humor, likable people with an excellent rapport, and of course plenty of educational content to geek out over. It makes me want to break out of the routine and try new wines from all over the world and appreciate them for what they are.

SOMMTV works surprisingly well for a brand new release. It’s intuitive and easy to navigate. And there’s already plenty of content even though they just launched, with lots more to come.

As someone who was casually into wine, who then becomes curious beyond the normal wine drinker, this service absolutely catapulted me into hyper passionate. I’ve had this app for less than a year, and cannot stop watching video after video, and in many cases rewatching after learning more. The production quality for a streaming service as cheap as this one only needs to be adequate, but there isn’t a single piece of material that could be categorized as anything less than pristine. The storytelling, the fun, and the education Wise, Jackson, Coppi and company provide is unmatched, and it’s something I’d love to keep in my life as like as they’re willing to make material.

It is so great to watch all of this great content on our various devices. Being able to replay as needed to learn more about wine and the beautiful areas where it is produced is such a wonderful feature. I have enjoyed every program that I watched and I am looking forward to what is to come.

I recently signed up for a year subscription and I’m more than happy I did. There is so much amazing and entertaining content on here. I’m always looking for new wine documentaries, movies, or programs and used to just end up rewatching the same material. Now I have a lot to choose from to keep me busy for a long time :)

With award nominated content available from your couch, is there a better way to visually connect to your favorite wine region while enjoying a glass of that same wine? And for only $50 a year, it’s way cheaper than a plane ticket.

There isn’t a platform more focused on wine and food like this app. You may find great programs in other places, you’ll be hard pressed to find the quality of content, breadth of shows from five minutes to two hours and content that is approachable and can be understood by beginners to content for the advanced wine professional. Really well done.

There are many origin stories for sommeliers, wine lovers, and wine makers. I think the common thread is that each of us find great pleasure in stories. And thus, great pleasure in the enamoring liquid encapsulation that allows us to have our attention captured through our senses in a way a great story does, too. Cheers to the education and entertainment that has enriched my life, through SOMM TV.

Took the plunge starting with SOMM and became addicted to the original content about the food and beverages I enjoy. Then add in the history and culture aspects and you have thoroughly enjoyable and enriching experiences. I was a fan early on and will be forever. Thank you for all that you, your team and your extended family do to bring the world more aware of the world around us.

I wish I found out about this app sooner and am SO happy there’s a platform to feature, educate and highlight wine! Wow, this is absolutely amazing from the videography and editing to the stories that are captured and told. I work in fine dining down in the panhandle of Florida and the past 6 years have developed a passion for learning about wine! I wasn’t able to afford the CMS Level 1 course for a while so I turned to you! I have learned SO much from SOMM TV-all of your programs are so full of interesting people, wine, perspectives, etc. I listen to the podcast ALL the time and am so grateful that this exists. I am now in my Level 1 class and having this podcast/streaming service at my fingertips is beyond helpful. Keep it up and thank you for all that you all do.

I discovered the SOMM movies when i was studying for my own dispatch certificate... It’s funny how much i relaxed watching people going through the same stress that I was.... But these movies welcomed me in and made me a part of the family... They also pulled me into the world of wine, which has grown into a passion... I’ve read, studied, taken classes and volunteered at different wineries to learn more... I was so excited when SOMMTV launched... This has continued my education and entertained me during this crazy year... Two best pieces of advice I’ve received- 1.) Drink what you want 2.) Never stop learning.... This content introduces me to wines, areas that satisfy both of those rules. You guys are awesome, keep it coming!

What is there to say about Jason and his entire team about the utterly amazing job that is everything about some TV.
If you love Wine, this is definitely without question for you. Everything and anything that you want to see or no is here.

Some TV is a must have for the wine lover, drinker, professional or the weekend warrior.

Cup of salvation if you haven’t watched it, you are missing something truly extraordinary. Again, Jason and his entire team did an outstanding job.

As an individual working in at wine bar/retail, SOMMTV has been super helpful increasing my knowledge with wine and build my confidence with talking to customers about it. I will be continuing my WSET journey soon and I’m glad to have this amazing library of wine documentaries and shows by my side! Quite honestly, I am shocked that more people in my industry are not subscribed to this app. Thank you, Jason and the rest of your team for making quality content!!

The only thing that I would offer as a critique would be that it would be easier at least for me if there was more of a list of the content so I can track everything I’ve seen. I’m using this platform for education and I want to be able to keep track of what I’ve seen so I can watch literally everything as well as not miss anything. There is also a chance this is already available and I haven’t seen it yet, haha.

I have been following the Somm films for many years. After each movie that comes out I am always left with a little sadness in my heart, because the show has ended! We now finally have an app and a streaming network that will be giving us endless content about the food and wine world! I look forward to all the shows and extras that are to come. If you can afford to buy a bottle of wine once a month you can afford this membership to learn about what you are drinking.

I was going to hold off purchasing the Charter Subscription. Then on my way home from work yesterday evening I was listening to the 4th Episode of the Somm TV podcast when Jason Wise and his wife Christina Wise talked about their journey on the concept of Somm Documentaries and how they came to be. (I’m a cult follower of the films). I then said screw it... I ADORE all three films and decided to purchase the yearly subscription after I put my car in park and whipped out my credit card. I’M SO GLAD I DID. I’ve only watched few items, but I’m VERY IMPRESSED. I cannot wait for else Somm TV has in store. Cheers!!!!

From the time I first saw SOMM years ago, to now having this app for the last couple of years, and also listening to the podcast, learning about wine is one of my favorite things to do. Thank you, Jason and Christina Wise, for opening up a world to me that I didn’t know existed. As a result of what you have created, and what you are creating, I have a new appreciation for wine, wine education, wine/farming/regional history, wine travel, hospitality, and all of the people that make it happen. You make really beautiful documentaries and all of your content on SOMM TV is such quality that I have given SOMM TV as a gift, and continue to tell everybody that I run into that also loves wine, about this app. I love it all!
