Filma is pretty great. The navigation of Filma is easy, simple, and and the animations when you tap on something are so smooth and beautiful. Editing is easy and simple as well, and I'm personally exited for the new features. But, there's a weird glitch. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but, when you split something, it's fine, like any other editor. But when you use a transition, a weird thing happens. When you tap on one, what happens is the first part of the split video enlarges back to the original length of the video. And you have to split the first part of the split video and delete the second part to get what you need. This is especially annoying on longer videos, and I'd appreciate if it could be fixed. One minor nitpick I have, is when you're splitting the video or something like that, the video slows down and gets REALLY CHOPPY. To fix this, you have to leave the little menu of whatever you were doing to see the proper video. I'd also appreciate if that could be fixed. But that with aside, Filma is amazing and has a lot of potential in the future. Thanks!

I love Filma , though I might not be able to afford the pro version as of right now. I’d be looking forward to buying it. But I need to ask, I do not know how I can speed up a portion of a video? Like I want to speed up this exact scene, but I do not know how. I would love to have a feature that you could export the project and put it onto your computer and edit it there. That’d be nice. As of right now, I desperately need the to make a scene of mine faster.

I’ve been using this app since it first came out and I have always been impressed with the functionality an responsiveness from the development team when I’ve had questions. Also the training videos they release are easy to follow and implement inside of your own projects. Thank you so much this app team for making and maintaining such an awesome product for both iOS and MacOS. 🙏🏽😊

This is the best video app for the money. They keep on improving Filma each week with new stuff. IT IS A MUST for video editing. It allows you the ability to create LUTS, specific to your projects.

Since I am not a professional film-maker, I enjoy easy-to-use film editors. this app is exactly that. It's design is simple and fluid. The layout is unique and the options available for filters, etc. are deeper than they appear.

The UI is actually what is most important to me, and really upped my desire to keep using Filma. I prefer the simplicity of it, from icons to even the curve settings on the button regions and even the icons. This is very professional, minimalist, and promotes exploring exactly what each option has available.

Filma itself might lack most of its features right now, but just by messing with it for a few minutes (I just chopped a random video and added some transitions), I can tell that Filma has a lot of potential.
Once I was done testing it, I closed the project and Filma closed itself. I know Filma is still new, so I know that this this problem can be fixed.
Other than that, Filma looks really promising.

first off want to start by saying that this applaction came in for a clutch when i was editing. i had hitfilms on my gf mac and the raw footage the color and exsposure was right but when i would import it into hitfilms the film was washed out and over exposed...due to this i had to find another programe now i will say the program is alitte tricky to use and ther ecould be a few things to improve for work flow purposes but aside from that a well rounded editing software
