Do you really think someone that still has the fire stick this app is going to get Remote just for fun of loading up their phone with more apps? I lost my this app, just like everyone that comes here. No one is going to just think it’s cool to have Phone app that’s light years slower than the real this app. People lose the thing and need an app. What a joke

Instructions to link the phone this app to system and it was literally trying to destruct the mainfraim and asking for iP address. When we all caught on and sacrificed him before he can ruin my tools to wrote and make a better income, the weird this app started to squeak not like a pig, but anrum of the litter needing its mom. That was creepy and please delete talking about he will come to my crub. When her and hers rock blue ahd shes finally off papers after 5 years so step up.

Too many flaws with Remote. One, it has to reconnect to Firestick every time your screen locks or you exit Remote . Two, it sometimes doesn’t connect to the Firestick even though it is connected to WiFi. Third, the most annoying of all, it takes FOREVER for the commands from the this app to connect to the Firestick. It takes minutes to search for a title and scroll to find a movie!!

App constantly crashes you can’t use Remote and do other stuff on your phone and come back to it. Once it starts reconnecting you have about a 25 percent chance that it will actually connect and on top of that trying to get it to sync with the tv is a headache of its on most days I have to close Remote repeatedly just to get it to find and connect to my tv

So it looked fine at first but the part that confused me was that there was this video for the instructions and it required a fire stick this app to connect it wich l downloaded Remote because I could not find my this app and lm sure most people downloaded Remote for the same reason.

So I read the reviews lol and was skeptical but yes it does actually work when it says your supposed to be on the same WiFi hit the little black refresh button under your WiFi name. When you do that it should pull up your “*your name* firetv” click on it and a picture of the fire stick will pop up use that to control it

The graphics are lifelike and the this app does work. However, the slow response when a key is pressed is very annoying to the point you don’t want to use Remote . If the developer improves the response time Remote would definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Once you connect to your fire tv, there’s a 3 second lag after you tap on the this app app to navigate. You know it takes a few taps to get where you need to go.
Those 3 seconds add up 😠

Out of several, I found this one to be most user friendly and pleasant substitute for the physical Firestick this app that crapped out.

It stays connected to the Firestick, even when unexpected and my favorite thing is that Remote looks just like the physical this app AND it might actually be my old this app as theirs appears to have a cat hair and some scratches. Thanks for the reliable and authentic version I will enjoy continuing to use.

I saw another user complain about having to scroll down the screen for another button, and I thought that petty. The fact is, we (the downloaders of Remote) have lost, or continue to lose our remotes. Thus we end up downloading something like this, and let me tell you- if having to scroll down is the only thing worth complaining about, I’ll take it and gladly scroll.
Remote has recently been updated since that review 2 years ago. I love the “media” version of the control. In fact, I like that you can change the type of this app. Both versions are functional with good quality and little to no advertisements.

I actually gave a crappy review, but after trying it again it works just like the this app - once it connects. I guess my issue is with the fire stick itself, not allowing me to pause, rewind not fast forward. Sorry I have a shtty review in such haste. Hopefully this makes up.
I recommend turning on vibrate so you know it accepts the input.

Batteries to the actual this app died so I wondered if there was a virtual this app. Expected this not to work, very surprised this actually did. A little bit delayed after an input but functions how it should. Why this does this not have any reviews is beyond me. 5/5

Very slow it always has hard time connecting takes too long too connect i recommenced to just never use it it is very disappointing.

It took a lot of refreshing before I finally got the name of my fire stick to come up and then it took several tries to get it to connect to my fire stick but I never could actually get the this app to work.

No instructions. Won’t connect. Shows multiple devices but no way of knowing which is the one you need to use, although after trying all of them (and there were about 10!) none worked! Terrible application.

You need to press a button on the actual this app to turn the fire stick on, then connect it, then it works 🤦🏽‍♂️ doesn't work without actual this app.

My actual controller is not working & Remote connected to the fire stick, but since my controller isn’t working I’m not able to press “Allow USB” to be able to actually connect 😢

It shut down frequently & there are many ads. More annoyingly, it just exits itself out randomly and you have to wait for to be reconnected every time you reopen Remote .
