I’ve been using SuperimposeAI for over 5 years. It was fantastic. It took me about a month to really get the hang of, but once I did, I could edit a picture in 5-10 minutes and it looked great. I recommended it to everyone I knew.

After the most recent update, however, it is virtually unrecognizable. First, you have to pay for SuperimposeAI , which I didn’t mind because it was a fantastic app and they deserved to make a little money. However, after paying, Ive noticed some significant changes. Second, the use went from a phone-friendly experience to confusing and aggravating. I’ll move some text and a completely different photo/text group later will either delete, shift, flip, or change. Right now, I’m trying to put some text over a photo, which should be easy enough, but every time I finish, the text re-formats itself into a completely different font and size that I didn’t choose. Thirdly, the mask feature has somehow gotten worse. I thought an update could only help, but this has gone backwards.

If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. SuperimposeAI was just fine. Needed a small bit of tweaking but they’ve essentially created a new app—completely different than the predecessor.

You’re better off spending 20 dollars elsewhere.

I got SuperimposeAI in order to be able to work with more than one layer at a time. I can add one layer but when I try to add the second layer, instead of allowing me to access my photos it sends me to a page for subscribing to their premium collection. If I click on the x to exit that page and try again to add a photo, the same thing happens in an endless loop. I wrote to ask for help, as their tutorials invite you to do, and got no response. These are sleazy and unethical business practices!

This just like the other offering by creator is great however i stupidly just bought this version when their is a newer superior product. I find itnshday they allowed me to buy this rather than the newest one. I would have given this 5 stars otherwise. I feel bad doing a one star rating as its based in shady behavior of the makers rather than quality of software.

When changing the background behind a female subject, the result left the subject with a smudgy face. A couple other issues. Then I ran out of free edits. A few free edits doesn’t help much. One free week might work. But from what I’ve seen, I can’t pay for this. It needs work. And an unblur and photo restoration tool would be nice. I had high hopes for SuperimposeAI. I’ve been using Superimpose for 12 years.

I’ve been using this developer’s app Leonardo, and then Superimpose X, and they were both awesome, until they weren’t. This editing software is actually really powerful, especially for an iOS app. However, the developer has made 3 different nearly identical apps now, and pushes you off the old apps by dropping the quality inside SuperimposeAI and saving images massively. It happened to me on Leonardo (which is also paid) so I bought Superimpose X. Now, it’s happening on Superimpose X, forcing me to go to Superimpose X Neo. This new app is literally identical to Superimpose X, but the cost of SuperimposeAI is now $20. Now, a $20 price tag is fair on SuperimposeAI, because it’s a great app, but I don’t plan on giving the developer any more money. DO NOT GIVE THIS DEVELOPER ANY MORE MONEY, PLEASE!!

To be honest, 2012 PhotoWizard for the iPad is superior to any photo editing app I know, My opinion still stands today.

SuperimposeAI sort of structured like photoshop which in my opinion is not fun. I’ve been using Photoshop in my profession career and there is nothing wrong using it. SuperimposeAI is just trying so hard to be what’s not. I don’t need a app that is mimics Photoshop.

I want a app that is simple and fun( and could uphold high quality image) this is why 2012 PhotoWizard HD for the iPad is better than any other photo editing app today.

It was about as perfect of an app as it could be prior to this new update. Now it’s all slow and clunky and just not efficient imo. The old saying still holds true, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Go back to old design, please.

All the CURRENT reviews seem to say X is the best and X Neo a bomb.

It’s too late now to get my $20 back. I just don’t see what all this was for. SuperimposerX is so fabulous. I tried finding the magic brush, default what, not where instructions say it is? I can only hope this gets fixed before it’s dropped.

I was sold on this apl by an ad I saw promoting how easy SuperimposeAI is to use for newbies. I dont feel that way though. If you dont anything aboit photography its not user friendly by any means. Either that I am doing som wrong because I cant get anything to flow with ease the videos make it out to be. Id like easier instructions if possible.

There is a bug where music being played in the background cuts out when I open SuperimposeAI . Also there is not enough variety in the text font selection.

While I'm grateful this developer didn't ruin Superimpose X with a greedy subscription plan and instead made that for this new app. Well, I wish that this was just a premium application that we could purchase for one fair price. I believe that this is a great app and would be worth a one-time fee. If the developer ever changes the pricing to premium I'll be more than happy to pay anywhere from $5-$15 for SuperimposeAI one time. Thanks and God bless.

So I love the game I learn more and more but they kinda make you buy premium once you have three layers no more and in the images it shows you can remove unwanted stuff well that’s with premium unless you change your background .

Hopefully customers read this and developers do too cuz all the cool stuff is for money maybe a free trial week? Just a suggestion have a nice day or night or whatever

I have had so much fun editing pictures and making new photos. This is one fun so. Easy to learn. Wish I found it sooner

Recently got put on to this by my boy AveryB and this is highkey one of the best picture editing apps if you can really understand it (which isn’t hard) put your mind to it and create the best picture you want 💯

It takes a little bit of learning, but once you get it. It’s an excellent app!

WOW! I can't even begin to mentioned how impressed I am with the AI features (in beta?) that were added to SuperimposeAI formerly branded as Pixanova.

SuperimposeX that I've used since Dec 2017 has been my go to photo editing app on an iPad Pro, despite the fact I also subscribe to Adobe Photography Plan ($120 year) and since 2022 also many AI apps like Midjourney. this app at $12 annually is an incredible steal at this price, a rare bargain.

It brings the ease of one click editing via several AI features while retaining the powerful features of SuperimposeX for those who want to manually tweak.

The developer, Pankaj is very responsive and often incorporates user suggestions into SuperimposeAI . I just LOVE it...

SuperimposeAI is really amazing. I’ve had SuperimposeAI for about 2 and a half years now and it’s really good. But I have an idea that is really simple, can you add folders for our projects? I would like to keep my ideas and designs separate in different categories. Like one folder is for designs, and the other is for photoshop etc. Would be really great if you can add folders.

The tools available are like no other editing app. I highly recommend it and again it’s FREE.

I hadn’t been able to use the AI in SuperimposeAI but now it’s working. I have revised my review.
