Terrible

2023-11-30

I will be deleting WeWard. I’m tired of having to convert my steps. I have bad memory thanks to a lifelong disability that causes memory loss for me and I lost out on points yesterday because of it and because WeWard isn’t ADA compliant.

This app isn’t for people who want “quick cash”

2024-04-14

Okay so this is okay the first time but, the problem is that I get scammed out of steps, I take lots of steps per day averaging 5-6 thousand per day sometimes more but it gives me little to none that doesn’t do anything to my score, not to mention the fact that the sweepstakes which are the cheepest and easiest to get aren’t even ensured so you could win. I looked for the money options and it’s almost impossible to get them with as much money you make with walking alone, you barely get any so expecting over 3000 coins is crazy you would spend years trying to save just for like 20 dollars or 30 dollars. Even the prizes are scams, you spend 51 coins for a gift card of 20 dollars to stores the you wouldn’t even be able to get anything from with the 20 dollars. If you want”quick cash” please don’t try WeWard as there is nothing quick about it.

Complete waste of time, garbage.

2024-04-22

I don’t understand how this thing has such great reviews people are just stupid. I guess it gives you the equivalent of one coin a day simple math will tell you would take you several years for you to actually add up enough points in order to cash out for a gift card or whatever it offers you completely stupid and a waste of time is people are making much more money off your data and giving you crumbs it’s insulting if you have any sense of dignity or self-respect, you would be upset as well. I’ve maxed out the odometer for the amount of steps. I’ve walked and still only get a coin or two a day that’s just stupid, insulting, and ridiculous. people that have bought into this have bought into a lie. I would like to meet one person who’s actually been able to get a gift card worth a significant amount of money from this.

Step threshold increased significantly

2024-04-14

When the max steps was 20K a day, that was reasonable but the latest app update has thresholds increase every time you achieve a certain step count, thereby decreasing the number of points (wards) you can earn - even if you maintained the same level of steps. That makes ward conversions harder and longer to achieve. It’s a major devaluation for the user. Would not recommend WeWard anymore.

Glitches make it useless

2024-04-14

I tried it for a week, then it froze up on its own. Nothing I did worked, and I was afraid uninstalling would make me lose my data. Two days later I finally hear back from support. I have to uninstall and reinstall. I did. Fortunately it saved my data but I lost my streak and tens of thousands of steps because I couldn’t convert anything while WeWard was frozen. But I’m back in business, right? Nope. Less than ten minutes later it freezes again. Good bye, app. I’m not uninstalling and reinstalling this thing every day.

Now Defective

2024-04-14

this app USED to be an awesome app. Then I missed a day collecting my steps (excessively busy evening and I totally forgot). Which would be fine, except that now WeWard pretends that I can continue my streak by "using the Joker". Except that, unfortunately, the notification suggesting the Joker causes the whole entire app to become completely defective!!! (A) Trying to play the Joker doesn't work. (B) Trying to close the Joker pop up doesn't work. (C) Even restarting my phone made no difference. And as such, in addition to missing yesterday's checkin, the virus-causing "Joker" pop up thus made me miss tonight's checkin as well!! So yes, "conceptually" this app is amazing. "Effectively", however, it's become completely defective and is now a piece of junk, waste of memory storage space... pity, because it has such promising potential...

Garbage. Changed points requirement to redeem to 10 times the original requirement.

2024-04-13

Been using it for almost 2 months. Have enough for a $5 gift card then they literally changed the number of points required to redeem TIMES 10!
So before you need 1000 points for $5 now you need 10,000 points.
Absolute garbage.
I was going to refer some of my friends who walks with me. But I’m so glad I didn’t.

Too much!

2024-04-22

I have been using Wewards for the past six months. In that time I have logged in my steps daily, done a handful of surveys and ignored the video games.

The surveys are tedious. I find I am prompted to repeatedly enter the same personal information for each survey; often several times within the same survey only to be disqualified. Waste of time.

I am not interested in the video games. Not my thing and you must consent to tracking to play.

That leaves gathering “wards” as the point system is called for logging in my daily step count. You max out at 26 wards a day if you walk a lot. I average 10 a day. There are also levels (I made it to Level 23) that do not appear to have any incentives with them except for free emails on waking.

I have accumulate some 1500 wards in the past six months, and need another 1500 to qualify for a $15 gift card; the minimum gift card threshold. I have several step apps and this is the longest one for the smallest request amount. As a result, I am cutting my losses and deleting WeWard . Not worth the time it takes to log in and watch the ads.

One star for too little return on my time.

I didn’t even get to try it so idk

2024-02-28

Usually people just skip terms and agreements with no hesitation and thats where you all mess up. The general terms i think it was called is in idek what language. How can I agree to something i can’t understand. They could be saying anything and you won’t know bc you can’t understand it unless you know that language.

Majority of my wards disappeared

2024-02-28

I woke up this morning to open this app, and I had realized that I went from around 2,000 wards, to 245. I am absolutely furious as I’ve had a 50 day streak now and I’ve been saving up and now it was all for nothing. I have not claimed ANYTHING but a few jokers, and in my claim history it does not say that I’ve bought anything worth 1,800 wards. This is a total scam, I want my wards back.

It’s not that good

2024-02-28

Bro idk if this is a feature on WeWard if it is, don’t get it!! Yesterday I had 11,000 steps, I decided to wait before converting it to get to 15,000 and when I checked today it was all gone and wasn’t in my converted history. THEN the absurd amount of steps needed to get the wards to the point it’s almost impossible to even get a reward it’s honestly a waste of time!!

The app doesn’t automatically track steps and then penalizes you when you don’t track your steps…

2024-02-28

There are APIs availability that connect to Apple Health, Fitbit, etc. There is no reason why users should have to MANUALLY convert their steps every day (and then be penalized if they miss a day because WeWard isn’t built well enough to use existing API to track the steps automatically).

I would love to write a better review but…

2024-05-25

… On multiple occasions, WeWard has down counted my steps. I could even provide screenshots with what my Apple fitness showed versus what WeWard showed even though it’s supposed to be pulling from that app. A few times more specifically today I have hit goals… But it is somehow shown me just blow that goal. Today I hit the big one of 17,000 steps… And I checked my app at 11:59 and according to my app it showed me at 17,010 steps… But for some reason, WeWard only showed me at 16,500 ,25 points may not be a big deal. Boni spend all day walking around trying to hit a goal and you hit it… I feel like you you should be rewarded for it.

Update: for some reason… The numbers continues to change as to what I need to reach for certain goals… I walk a lot, my app tells me one thing on my phone and my Fitness and for some reason the numbers on WeWard are drastically different at the end of the day. Even though they request access to, my Fitness app on my iPhone… Do not download WeWard. Do not watch their ads because they are making way more money than they are giving us in anyway shape or form. I understand the business… But at some point you have to be fair and this is just not fair at all.

Bogus

2024-05-25

I didn’t expect much and wasn’t disappointed.
But the main reason I’m deleting WeWard , every single day, my smart watch would record between 12,000 and 16,000 steps. I expected a discrepancy between my watch and WeWard , but the discrepancy was between 4,000 and 8,000 steps every day. I keep my phone in my pocket when it’s not in my hand yet everyday, no matter how much I walked, WeWard recorded about 8500 steps. Every single day.
Exactly what I figured so as I said not disappointed but won’t be wasting my time either.

Out of all the walk apps I tried this is the worst

2024-05-31

I think this is the worst walk app I tried. It makes it almost impossible to get the whole amount of gems per day. They keep pushing it more and more back each time you reach each goal. They say it’s to push you to walk more but they don’t consider that some people cannot walk as much as others. I have bunions on my foot. I had surgery on one side but even that side hurts when I walk a lot because I have a screw in my foot. I can walk only so much before my feet starts hurting. At least the other apps have set amounts you need to walk a day and you can claim your coins which I think is so much better. Plus it is faster to earn a GC. WeWard seems like it’s impossible and would take me about a year or more before I would be able to get a reward. I’ll keep WeWard only until I can get enough to claim PayPal cash. Which would probably be a year or longer from now. And that is if they honor it to you. My advice is don’t waste your time on this walk app and try some other walk apps. I would recommend some but I’m not sure if it’s allowed.

Check the Terms and Conditions carefully!

2025-04-09

The translation to UK English and US English are mixed with French, with the US version being almost completely untranslated. German has similar but more limited errors. Obviously It should not be incumbent upon the potential user to translate this requirement for using the application.

App Crashes

2025-05-11

WeWard crashes every time i open it after i made an account. It stays open for one seconds then closes out instantly. I’ve tried restarting my phone and redownloading it but it’s still closes out. My friend who also downloaded WeWard is experiencing the same problem. We both have iphones

Missing simple functionality

2025-06-06

Very simple to program steps to convert automatically before new day starts. This functionality is available in every other app I use. Rewards not good enough to have to manually convert steps daily.

Never Got Paid

2025-07-23

Submitted steps for a gift card. Never got paid and never heard back after I reached out to support. Update: They reached out once. I responded with the issue and have been ghosted for 3 days in spite of following up. It took almost a year to get $15 only using steps, so it’s frustrating to have wasted so much energy and time. I also should note other apps, such as Cashwalk and GeoSmile have paid 5 to 6 times more throughout the same time frame without issue.

Not impressed

2025-07-31

I connected my Fitbit to WeWard and it won’t count my steps. It works fine with Apple health but I don’t carry my phone with me at all times. I updated WeWard as suggested and my Fitbit will not connect.

About the app

2024-01-25

So I downloaded it since I run almost everyday so I thought hey it’s a piece of cake but I think it’s a scam now, I tried entering WeWard the last time I used it/ first time to check my steps and see how much I did but it froze and it just stayed that way, don’t waste your time

A waste of time.

2024-08-17

WeWard is a waste of time. The gift card thresholds are too high and you aren’t earning enough points a day toward it. It should be for ever step you take, that counts as a ward point, not towards a certain step goal that gets you a small ward point. I thought having WeWard in the background would be a good thing, but it’s just a GIANT waste of time. If you don’t submit your steps then they don’t count towards your ward points, which is stupid. I’m already walking and using WeWard , why do I also have to convert my points? It should be automatically done. I’ve lost out on so much points and now have deleted WeWard. WILL NEVER use this trash app again.

Not ready for prime time

2024-08-17

WeWard has potential but it really lacks in areas. Forget getting 8000 steps in one hour. WeWard does not pick up steps in a timely manner. Always resets. I was 19 steps away and it would not update the steps. I just gave up on the tiers. And why In the world can you not collect cards using your Apple Watch????? I hate carrying the heavy phone on my 4 mile walk everyday. That’s the reason I bought the Apple Watch Ultra. Just really frustrated with WeWard. I don’t think I will continue with it. I walk everyday. I’m 60 and I use the watch for most everything now. If this app updates WeWard to work with the Apple Watch I might come back. But it’s just not worth it at this point. It lacks too many options and the tier requirements cannot be met. 2 stars because it has potential if they hire some programmers to take advantage of the Apple Watch.

Extremely disappointed

2024-08-07

Speaking of rewards, they are practically a scam. As you get closer to redeeming a reward, the points required suddenly become more expensive, making it almost impossible to claim anything promising. It feels like they’re intentionally making it harder to reach the goal just to keep you engaged without ever giving you a real reward.
Overall, this app is a huge disappointment. I had high hopes for WeWard, but it has only left me angry and frustrated. Don’t even bother to download it. Save your time and look for a more reliable and honest alternative.

Smells Like a Scam - I Almost Had Enough to Redeem Then They Changed the Minimum Redemption Cost

2024-09-27

I previously spoke highly about WeWard in a review about a year ago and I was finally getting close to redeeming for the first time as I have 2,250 wards. However. I just checked the Redeem page and now they’re no longer showing the option to redeem $15 through PayPal for around 3,000 wards which seemed achievable. Now the minimum redemption amount through PayPal is all of a sudden 8,150 wards. 😡 I’m about to delete my account and delete WeWard for good. I vehemently hate applications that pull this type of scam.

Difficult to use

2025-10-11

Not sure how to earn rewards. Not clear. Difficult to use. And no I’m not dumb, I’m a lawyer.

Don’t use that

2025-11-11

It’s 💯 scam !! AVOID IT

Totally bugged

2025-12-13

When I had WeWard downloaded, I couldn’t open my settings on my iPhone until I uninstalled it

the app was great at first then it went down hill

2026-02-19

even when on my health app it says 20,000 i only have 1 on this app but then i click on the bar where it shows my activity on this app and then it actually shows my 20,000 steps and i dont even have alot of options on the this app gift shop

Streaks always reset and customer service is a joke

2024-05-05

Twice now I have converted my steps and gotten my confirmation that the steps have been recorded only to find the next day that the steps are no longer converted from the day before and I have to spend 50 wards to fix or just let it go. I spent the wards the first time and reached out to customer service asking for it to be fixed but received a response in a distant language. I tried to email again and it’s the same thing. I can’t get a response in English and my steps once again are saying they weren’t recorded last night even though they definitely were. I also referred a friend and never received the referral bonus. Frustrating.

Not worth it

2024-07-30

It’s fun to turn in steps but the rewards aren’t worth it. I’ve had WeWard for almost a year and I still have less then 1,000 points. And I walk a LOT. If you want something that doesn’t take long and still gives great rewards get the Fetch app. You take a picture of any receipt and automatically get 25 points no matter the amount you paid. They also give bumps to points if you buy name brands or other things. Also have games for you to earn points with. You get points a lot faster for the same rewards. Love that app.

Not what advertised

2024-05-25

I had just recently downloaded WeWard in hopes it would work. I had went for a 2 hour long walk about 2 days ago, and came back. At around 11:50 I converted all 8,062 steps and got nothing. Nothing at all. I waited for a while. Thinking maybe it needed time, but nothing happened. Finally at midnight I converted my steps one last time and I still got nothing, it just restarted my steps. WeWard isn’t worth the download in my opinion. My times been wasted for yet another lying app.

I just want to give a fair review

2024-05-25

Overall it’s a great app. But there is no doubt that the spin the wheel game is a scam. I have played it straight since I got WeWard and you can only get the 0.9 mark , while there is a scroller with winner announcement that is set on repeat. Can you do better than that?

No worries if you don’t care. We the users care to support and improve/suggest digital products. It is really up to you.

Thank you for your time

Very Unrealistic Pay, Doesn’t track steps correctly!

2024-03-13

I am very disappointed with WeWard. I continue to use it each day in hopes there will be an update coming up. If you are not a huge walker like me, this is not WeWard for you. You will be getting 1-3 coins a day and it takes thousands to cash out. Not to mention, I wear a fitbit every day. It tracks my steps very well and is connected to my “Apple Health” -I understand not all people have apple products this is just my experience- My steps on my watch and loaded within the Health app are always SIGNIFICANTLY higher than they are on the this app app. So I am losing out on rewards I should be getting ever single day. I mean every single day, the step counter on this app and on my Health app are THOUSANDS of steps apart. And it gives you no option to input the correct number of steps which is understandable because people would cheat the system. But can you guys make it to where out smart watches can sync to WeWard ? or at least to where the Health app can sync to the this app app? Why is this not already a feature??? I’m tired of missing out on Rewards I should be getting every single day. I do not leave my phone in my pocket to walk every where I go. I shouldn’t have to keep my phone in my pocket at the gym. And afterall, keeping your phone close to your skin is known to cause cancer, so why are you guys influencing that?

Disappointed

2024-03-13

I downloaded WeWard and of course like everything else it’s not what it seems. It wouldn’t convert steps unless I either bought something, played a game, referred or tracked a referral. Disappointed but not surprised every app nowadays does advertising to reel people in and is very seldom what is actually advertised.

Change the conversion process

2024-05-04

It seems counterproductive to have a person work for rewards all day, and then lose them because they forgot to convert their steps! Just have the steps you have taken automatically convert every midnight if a person hasn’t done it manually already! We should be able to take the steps and get our rewards even if we forget to “convert our steps” which should just happen anyways.

Idk

2026-12-18

I dont know how it works do i need to reach 1,500 steps to get anything? It told me to convert my steps after i went to seep so i missed it and couldnt so it the next day

fix this bug

2027-01-27

I know your like why 2 star? It’s because I always walk but for some reason it always restarts me and puts me back to 0 steps. Please fix this

Well

2027-02-28

Hackable there send a card not safe . There bonuses not safest easily aquirred surveys void . Videos don’t work .
Want boosted points from walking not easy go beyond 25 points used to now doesn’t

Frustrated

2024-05-25

I’ve only been using WeWard for a few days now, and have yet to earn points. Not because I of an app malfunction, but because you have to go in and manually convert your steps to points. This is not in the forefront of my mind, so have yet to do this at the end of the day. I’m sure this happens to many people, it just seems like you should be able to go back a day or two in case a person does forget instead of just losing points.

Soon to delete this app

2024-08-03

Having to remember to manually convert your steps every day is cumbersome, especially when they’re tracking your actual steps taken. I’ve walked over 90,000 steps since joining, but I have only remembered to convert about half of them. If you already have a log of the steps taken, why doesn’t WeWard automatically convert your steps taken at midnight for you? It’s as though you’re hoping we will forget to convert them so we won’t get credit for them.

Point system

2024-02-09

The pint system which goes by Wards could be better. The part where you walk if you reach 1,000 it’s one ward, 3,000 is three wards and 6,500 is six wards and 10,000 steps is 10 wards. It could be better as far as gift cards they have good stuff just haven’t redeemed anything yet.

Hay días que no me anta los km

2027-04-16

El viernes 09 hice 11.06 km y no me los sumó cuando hice validación y me los borró. Ayer fue igual, hice el mismo trayecto de hoy y no me los sumó 😱 del resto me encanta por el reto de mantenerme activa.

Takes around 4 months of very active walking for $15

2024-07-15

I walk about 11k steps a day, I log in and cash out every single night. I’m 35 days of walking 11k steps a day. I download every game and get 80 percent of the rewards from those, I’ve watched 300 plus videos. I am only 1/3 of the way to receiving my first reward which is the cheapest reward possible of $15.

You have to be very very active, constantly do everything that comes up, watch every video once WeWard loads and it will take you roughly 100 days for $15 reward.

Needs improvement

2024-07-23

I was excited to download WeWard based on the reviews. Even though it will take a long time to obtain rewards it’s good about keeping you in your toes. However it has some glitches. Twice I’ve converted my wards and gone in the next day to convert my new wards and received a message that says looks like you missed yesterday, when in fact I had and some points now were gone . There is no way to send a message or get of hold of anyone to look into this. Quite frustrating

Unrealistic expectations

2024-05-25

I’m a 70+ lady who loves to walk. Thought I’d love WeWard and at first it was great. But everytime you meet your goal to get max wards fir the day, you move to next level which increases your goal. That’s ok to a point but now it up to 36,000 steps and will continue to climb. Ditto for the challenges. Some of them are just too much but you can’t move on to next challenges unless you do 5 of them. Motivate friends really? What if you have no friends that walk? Can’t do those. 8000 steps in an hour? Young folks and runners can do that, not me. 😪 24 March I cashed out for $10 walmart card to test if it really is legit, got email saying would get it in 7 business days…..still waiting for it 9 April, and am thinking it may not arrive. So……I kept WeWard so far but am really not expecting much as I’ve advanced about as far as I can, which is sad as I really enjoyed the more realistic challenges, just can’t get to tier 5.
Ps….do like the options of donating wards to various projects.

Some issues

2027-11-06

My app keeps crashing every time I try to open it and I know that’s going to make me lose my streak. I can’t even convert my steps

?

2027-10-26

won’t count your steps if you don’t convert them before the next day. i got 11,000 steps two days in a row and forgot to compound them because my phone died and they didn’t give me any wards for it. it should automatically compound like sweatcoin bc this feels like a scam.

Don’t waste your time on surveys!

2024-02-25

I wasted 5 minutes answering stupid questions all to be told I was denied and don’t qualify so I didn’t get any points for my time. SMH.

Other then that I just downloaded WeWard so I haven’t received payout yet. So far not looking good. Hope it pays out soon. I’ll give it a few months before I have a final decision. I mean it is money for simply walking, can’t complain too much yet.

Doesn’t count steps correctly

2024-08-30

I’ve been using WeWard for a few months now. When I open it it shows a step amount then instantly the steps are taken down to a smaller amount. For example it showed I had 4300 steps, then it when down to 2489. I’m constantly walking all day. I’m not sure why WeWard doesn’t t count your steps correctly. I feel like I’m missing out on multiple step goals every single day. Please fix WeWard.

$15 Reward Disappeared

2024-10-01

WeWard is okay, but I’ve been working towards the $15 worth 3,050 wards and suddenly within the past week it disappeared and is no longer available. This is not feasible for me to work towards $40 worth 8,150 wards. Seems like a pipe dream. Not to mention the moving goal posts. I get that it encourages you to keep up the pace but this only seems like a shell game when you move the attainable goals. Please put back in more attainable thresholds to cash out. Thank you.

I can’t sign in and I haven’t tried the app yet

2024-01-04

So idk if my email app or WeWard is causing this but when it says it sent me an email it doesn’t send I check my spam folder too it might just be a glitch I’m not gonna give WeWard a bad reveiw because I can’t judge it until tried it out.

How do I use the bonus point games

2024-01-04

I’m very exited to get one of the gifts in the shop! I’m currently trying to figure out how to in get to the games to earn bonus points. I’m not sure if I just have an old lady brain or the games aren’t working.

Can’t receive rewards.

2028-08-06

It’s pretty good. Works well, just you can’t get rewards for streaks. Screen freezes and nothing works.

I’m not sure yet

2024-08-30

I haven’t been using WeWard for long, about 4-5 days so I’m really not sure if it’s good or not but my biggest complaint is that it’s not able to link to my Apple Watch which to me is an issue because I always have my watch on and I don’t always have my phone in my pocket but if I wanna make sure that I get my points registered, I need to make sure my phone is always in my pocket which to me is just ridiculous seeing as how they can make it that’s able to be linked to my Apple Watch. yes I have gone into my Watch app and attempted to put WeWard onto my watch, but it isn’t which is ridiculous.

Ok so far

2024-01-14

Liking it so far. Love the options for different rewards. Only complaint is that you have to remember to convert steps daily.

was kind of disappointed

2028-10-12

I was hoping for roblox gift cards 😔

Entertaining enough

2024-10-10

It’s entertaining enough to download if you like to walk a lot. Collecting the cards just gives you little goals on your walk. It would be nice if they added a trade feature. The donate makes it so you can trade but it’s very super tedious and clunky. I wouldn’t download it if your expecting to make a bunch of money or something tho. I walk 25k + at the very least everyday, and I have been playing since feb/march and I haven’t earned a dime. It will be another few months till I have enough wards for 10$. So basically if you walk 25k+ a day you can make 10$ a year.

Very good.

2028-08-30

I downloaded Sweatcoin and this app on the same day; Sweatcoin gets 1 star, this app gets 5. The primary difference? this app has options you can redeem your points for, like multiple gift cards and cash. Sweatcoin just has discounts. They do on occasion have a random gift card that is “sold out”, but what good goes that do you. this app also has a better interface.

I lost 6 kilos!!

2028-09-11

Amazing app that help me to be more active and loose weight !

Top !

2028-11-03

Application géniale facile à utiliser !! Elle m’a permis de faire plus de sport plus de marche et d’être plus écologique

I’m not sure if I’m not sure

2029-01-09

I’m not going to be good with it

Free, simple, friendly and true to its word

2029-01-04

Unlike many other web3 move2earn concepts or crypto based, this app is really easy to use and offers simple and accessible options to burn your wards. Not mentioning the extra push it gives you to build your walking routine!

I love WeWard!! I am a hard working high school student and I have been counting my steps, I have an average of close to 10,000 steps per school day. I was looking for some kind of reward for my steps and I found WeWard right away.
Definitely recommend!!!!!!

Great way to walk and be paid for it. So many things you can do. I have added it to my daily exercise since I walk to work and move around.

It’s a awesome and one of the best ways to earn money and stay fit (my opinion) but unlike the other apps I liked this one the most out of the other ones. It would be better if it had an apple gift card but everything else it good. Love it

Enjoying it but have a question

So the top global leaderboard lists people having walked 40 miles a day just about everyday and it seems like the same people everyday since I joined.

Y’all do realize they’re cheating right? Is there any plan to crack down on it?
