Awful customer service and

I was advised at a PLS location. to have a Western Union transfer loaded to an Xpectations card, because this way I would not need to pay in order to have the money deposited in my bank account. The card did not work at my bank and the only solution the store manager gave me was to be charged 1% of the toral amount in order to be able to get my money. This is unacceptable for no one should pay to receive a Western Union transfer. The sender already paid to send the money. I left a voice mail and I sent an email to PLS and got no response! My advice: Don’t use this service

So the basic functions of the ap are simple and work mostly my issue is that after getting a new device and phone number I was unable to use the account. I called and they couldn’t help me get in to account and told me the only way was to create a new account with a new email address. I’ve used the same email address for a long time and only have one. While not a huge deal to create a new email it just seems stupid that I had to at all. Looking for a new prepaid card because of it. Customer service was a joke also

I like the idea of conveniently looking at my card balance, card usage history, making card changes like account info,transfer,Freeze card etc. BUT the app barely works. It says all the time “Error Retrieving cards” so you have to continuously refreshing the screen until the correct screen comes up. Then once your in , it’s no problem. It’s just getting to the actual card on the app . When you try to call the customer service they’ll say “we don’t control the app”
