I general avoid WHAS11NewsLouisville. When I attempt to watch a news clip full screen, I am forced to watch the same full ad a second time. There is no avoiding it. Being partially blind necesitares watching in full screen. It feels intentional. There are other news outlets I can use that do not waste my time.

I really appreciate get the News Alerts & being able to watch BREAKING NEWS as soon as it’s available. I’m out & about most of the day and can’t always sit down to watch regularly scheduled News daily, so when something BIG happens, I ❤️ being able 2 quickly log on 2 C “what’s up”!

I am a 45 year old woman who watches WHAS11 for all of my news. Now with WHAS11NewsLouisville I can take WHAS11 with me & keep myself appraised of what’s going on in the world in real time! I grew up watching WHAS & know I can count on their unbiased truth! I’ve been watching since the age of five & feel as if I know my newscasters because they’re in my home everyday!

I have always liked HAS as we have referred to the station. I feel they are honest and always try to keep the public up to date.
I grew up in Louisville and they have always been my go to station.
Plus I like the entire crew. Keep up the good work guys!

WHAS11 is my “go to” source for local news, sports and weather. I can depend on them to provide live coverage and report up to date information with accuracy & professionalism.

I’ve had WHAS11NewsLouisville for a few years, the version before this was useful and more Insightful. Now they post like 3 or 4 news stories every so often and that they just Regurgitate the same old news over and over again. Nothing useful is on here anymore. Things that are breaking news on other stations don’t even show on here. People need to know if something is going on downtown or wherever. Im deleting WHAS11NewsLouisville and moving on!!!!!

Have always watched WHAS news. I love the news people and weather people. I depend on the news from you all. Love the new comers. Love Doug Proffit. I even had my sister name her daughter after Kirstie Wild. Please keep up the good work. Thank you Beverly White

I love the new hour by hour forecast. Easy to find weather. You can favorite the topics you like and only get notified when those are updated.

The overall rain percentage probability displayed for each day is misleading! The hour by hour rain percentage chance is convenient, but it doesn’t seem to correspond with the “whole day” rain chances. I have had to look at other weather apps to plan my week!

The new WHAS11 app is basically useless, as it repeatedly locks up and / or crashes when trying to read an article. Very frustrating to be reading an article and not be able to reach the end before it locks up and will not scroll. When this happens, the “back” arrow is also not functional.
Even if you close and restart WHAS11NewsLouisville , it will lock up again and again.

As a person with impaired vision (meaning I wear glasses like the rest of the world), I always do 2 things when I want to see something larger on my phone. 1) use 2 fingers on the screen to make such and such larger 2) flip my phone for landscape mode which makes things bigger automatically. WHAS11 has neither of these options available on their app. So that’s an immediate uninstall for me. No stars, but forced to put at least 1.

I enjoy getting updates on news in the city.

This used to be my go-to app for local news, but each redesign has made it worse, with the latest version looking like an explosion in the newsroom! Seriously folks, this is a graphic design disaster. Please pick a single, simple, consistent look and stick with it. The earlier versions were much better.

If I don’t see significant improvement soon, I’ll be deleting WHAS11NewsLouisville from my phone.

I like to watch using my IPad in the morning while getting ready for work. It is so annoying that I’m forced to watch ads even in the middle of a news story I really want to see. Often I will open WHAS11NewsLouisville and can see the story they are reporting but then it cuts to an ad and I miss the entire story. Terrible!

I am a native Louisvillian but have been living in Georgia for the past thirteen years and I like keeping up with current events going on my home city.

Great for checking on my local area news!

To open live stream takes several attempts.
Each time it starts, it’s dark in the top half of the screen, starts over after a few seconds, starts over if you try to expand to landscape, etc.

Its use is hit or miss.

WHAS is one sided when it comes down to the news of Hunter Biden’s dealings with China and the other communist payoffs with no reports just like the other Democratic news outlets,I quit watching You and WLKY,WAVE and WDRB months ago!

Informative and helps me stay on top of the news and news updates. I enjoy using WHAS11NewsLouisville .

It tells me everything I need to know and I love it I recommend WHAS11NewsLouisville

Functionality is lacking in new version compared to the older app. The tile feature that was previously used is far more user friendly. I also have difficulty previewing the article when pop up feature takes up a quarter of the screen with the grey icons at the bottom.

TV commercials show The Rant on WHAS11NewsLouisville, but I have never been able to find it on WHAS11NewsLouisville .
Often, after I open WHAS11NewsLouisville and click on a headline, the article closes right away and goes back to WHAS11NewsLouisville .

I’ve used WHAS11NewsLouisville on two different iPhones (including the iPhone X) And have problems every time I use it. WHAS11NewsLouisville either closes unexpectedly or it freezes on my screen and I have to shut WHAS11NewsLouisville down and start over.

It’s been a while since this was reformatted, but I felt the old was better than the new. The notifications don’t always open, either.

Looks pretty, but very slow and jerky. Long delays between what I select and what appeared. WHAS11NewsLouisville crashed twice. Tiny, white back arrow in top left corner hard to see. Not something I will use regularly, and if it doesn’t get better I will likely delete it.

Bring back the last version.

They apparently failed to take into consideration there are people out there who prefer landscape mode over portrait. I immediately deleted WHAS11NewsLouisville off of my device because of this and will not use it again until the feature is added back in.

All Apps developed now understand the importance of being able to shift based on how iPad is positioned—-except this one. It’s 2019 and I find it hard to understand why this simple feature would not be there. Deleting now.
