There is absolutely no reason you need the full rights to publish, steal, copy, save, or generally creep through my notes in order to provide this service. I’m VERY glad that I read this before signing up for the syncing service - these terms would nullify any privacy that Apple provides. “By posting your Contributions to any part of the Site, you automatically grant, and you represent and warrant that you have the right to grant, to us an unrestricted, unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive, transferable, royalty-free, fully-paid, worldwide right, and license to host, use, copy, reproduce, disclose, sell, resell, publish, broadcast, retitle, archive, store, cache, publicly perform, publicly display, reformat, translate, transmit, excerpt (in whole or in part), and distribute such Contributions (including, without limitation, your image and voice) for any purpose, commercial, advertising, or otherwise, and to prepare derivative works of, or incorporate into other works, such Contributions, and grant and authorize sublicenses of the foregoing. The use and distribution may occur in any media formats and through any media channels.”

The webpage says to long-press letters to enter words not in the dictionary, like names or foreign words, but that seems to only work on the iOS version. This oversight makes the app almost useless. But worse is that the iOS companion app doesn’t let you delete or share the notes. I understand that watchOS has some limitations, but if you can’t do anything with your notes once they are on the phone that is a big problem. The two issues together really make this app a waste of space. On top of that is that the documentation and app description is lacking important details.

the app won’t install on my apple series six watch . . . after tapping the inscribed ‘INSTALL’ in the ‘My Watch’ option of the Watch App on my iPhone 12 Pro a curvilinear ‘piece de resistance’ moves in clockwork motion forming a circle and then reverts back to the inscribed ‘INSTALL’ without ever having been installed on my watch . . . no response from developer about mr enquiry and no help from apple techs nor willingness to refund purchase . . . score another one for apple’s collusion with developers to defraud their customers
