When the developer released version 7.36 it broke SparkMember for all iPhone users. It then took the developer 1 week to release a new fix. Guess what? It is still broken for iPhone users!!! The only improvement is I can now use it on my iPad mini. Super annoying that it no longer works on my phone.
There is no sort option to order your booked classes by dates or alphabetically so it’s confusing as heck to see if you already booked something. And when I book the same date again, it doesn’t warn me that I already scheduled it.
When I emailed them making the suggestion to add a sort option, the responses I get back was one sentence question per an email. Not a thanks for the feedback or will look into. It was do I have an account with them and then am I a member or staff.
Why? Every week when I go to open SparkMember it says it needs an update. This week the same thing but now I’ve noticed 2 things…1. It’s tracking my location (so don’t put down you’re not collecting information/data because you are) and 2. SparkMember doesn’t work!

I have been using the Spark app for over a year now with no issues. Now, on the Home Screen it just says “No Data Found” with a blank page. There is a menu option and if I select that, it only lists my son’s name but nothing else. Please fix.
I just uploaded the newest version (I had to) in order to book my child’s classes. As soon as I uploaded it, it is now immediately kicking me out as soon as I open it. Clearly has a bug and now I can’t book any classes at all. That is a problem.
I have deleted SparkMember and downloaded it again to try to solve the issue but that has not been successful. Very frustrating.
Our gym is constantly having issues with SparkMember. Every time I try and check in to class it tell me you can’t check in until 30 minutes of class. But even when you in the class window it still gives you the same message.
SparkMember is great when it is working. Until recently I have been logged off without warning. This is the second time a major log off situation has occurred for myself. The 1st time it affected all members due to an update in which everyone had to create a new password. It worked fine until last week. I tried the reset password option that should be sending a link to my email which it does not. I’ve tried multiple times and still get nothing in the email. I like the system of signing up my son for karate class and knowing he will get the credit for being there rather than rely on instructors who are busy with many kids and activities going on at the same time. I feel it helps streamline when the parents or students can help with class attendance. Hopefully it gets resolved sooner rather than later. Been using SparkMember for a couple years now. Please fix or reply as to what I should do. Thanks.
Can't log in on an older version of iOS (10.2.1) even though comparability states 10.0 or later. It doesn't even give the opportunity to log in.
Instructions state to use the "forgot password" link if you already have an account. Can NOT find that link using the older version of iOS or even on the latest version of iOS using an iPad. Hope they fix this as it appears to have potential.
I’ve been using SparkMember for over a year and it just stopped working on my phone. I have an iPhone 7, so maybe there’s an issue with the phone? My iOS is up to date and it works on my newer iPad. Also, I’ve had issues with getting notifications is the past. Overall, SparkMember is a little buggy from time to time.
Needs to be much easier way to select between family members. Way too many clicks just to select someone else. There should also be a calendar view that shows all members attendance records for the month on the screen. Would be much simpler for the user.
It never works when needing to click into attendance. It just states to put location of facility in; which I have done. I hate having to always ask the front desk lady to log me in. I never see that my sons attendance was counted when asked as well. His ability to earn on his belt counts on attendance to. So frustrating !!!
The product "could" be nice if it weren't for the EXCESSIVE frequency of "updates." If your coders are THAT bad, or you can't do more in a single release, just give up. Further, when an update is posted to SparkMember store (feels like 3 a week), SparkMember is not usable. Users should still be able to navigate SparkMember until they update. It's not like you're making interface, architecture or feature updates. Ever heard of "agile" or "scrum"???

I keep trying today to get the phone app to work. I went on their website to try it too but the website wouldn’t let me even try to log in. And then I tried their chat function but nobody responded after an hour. Oh well.
Hard to use. Only able to get one of two children on SparkMember and they are at different levels. Disappointing.
Would love an export to calendar feature. Having to constantly double check our class days and times is so annoying.
Classes booked 2 weeks ago, now looking and classes aren’t showing up as booked. Glitch?
Easy enough to navigate but very frustrating after spending time enrolling 4 students.... and now all classes are waitlisted. Does this happen frequently?
This website will be stuck and you have to restart it and log in again
SparkMember has been very helpful, but it feels like every time I go to use it, it requires an update. It’s great that they wish to improve it, but very frustrating to have it happen so frequently.
After multiple delete and reinstalling, updating my phone and allowing all location devices my dojo is still not showing within SparkMember ! Frustrating since my gym does everything through mobile platform!!
It worked for a while but now I can’t login and it does nothing when hitting reset password. Deleted and reinstalled and setup but same issue. Iphone SE.
