Reclip: clip things IRL Reviews

The idea is great but the fact you are forced to invite 3 friends to Reclip before you can actually use it is dumb. I don’t want to invite my friends to use an app I haven’t even used myself yet. I would be more likely to invite and reccomened Reclip if I were able to use it and show me people in the actual situation but I can’t even get to that point. I wanted to use Reclip but I refuse to suggest something to my friends and family that I haven’t used myself.

It does work but for some reason after I deleted Reclip I still had a microphone in the corner of my screen I closed all my apps and checked if I had voice control on and I didn’t, I asked my dad if he can help he wasn’t sure and I should wait till he gets home because he was out of town. If anyone knows anything about this please help me out I’m a little scared. But none the less Reclip does work and is good for arguments or if someone says something you could use it against them, not like you should but I geuss it’s that one little big freaking me out.

So I really like Reclip, one of my friends introduced it to me. And I thought it was really cool, but shortly after downloading I realized I wasn’t able to this app audios on a call or ft. This made me see Reclip in a whole nother light. Me as well as others often talk to friends on the phone. Which is when they often say silly things that we want to remember. I wish this was a feature in Reclip , as it would make it 10 times better. Hopefully in the future developers will add this, which would definitely make me as well as many of my friends(who own Reclip ) a lot happier.

I love Reclip and have been using it for a while, my father died and alit if those clips r some of the best memories I’ve had with him. But I haven’t been able to access them in my library few clips show up and the rest are white bars I can’t click on they’re there but not they’re, I’ve tried uninstalling I’ve tried logging in on other devices,nothing works please help.

This is an amazing app and an amazing concept but I don’t like how you have to have Reclip opened in the background for it to record… what if I forget to open Reclip and I wanted to hear something that was said beforehand? It’s basically JUST like recording a conversation as you normally would the only difference is u can click off Reclip and it still records. Other than that I have nothing else to complain about.

I gave this that many chances and with my friends pointed it out, I would defend it, but it’s too much. I today finally caught something that I wanted to clip, but of course, of course Reclip has to be shut down automatically. It always randomly goes off and then it makes my phone overheat every time I have it on, my phone by the way is an iPhone 15 Pro Max and I have to power it off because Reclip makes overheat. I like the concept but try working out something with apple so it doesn’t have that effect.

I love Reclip I us it almost every day but it would be a lot better of it saved every 20 minutes for 20 minutes but that’s just me personally because then we don’t have so many different clips that are similar but yet so different but again that’s just me I love Reclip tho

Yeah it’s a good app to capture the moment, but I just don’t like the fact that you have to keep it open and I feel like it will drain my battery if I keep it open. I understand that this is probably a requirement for the microphone to be recording, so I blame apple more than Reclip devs, but if apple ever does change anything I would like it if Reclip could just run in the background without having to be opened.

I like Reclip and its useful. Only thing is that Reclip always has to be open and i fee like it will drain my battery. Besides that its good. I would suggest to only turn it on when your out with friends or something. I would suggest to the developer to maybe have a widget that turn on Reclip or something or maybe some scheduling when to turn it on.

My friend and I were making slides and I had Reclip and then I showed my friend Reclip and then I clicked on it and it’s the last two minutes of the thing like it was supposed to and then when I saved it and named it just slides how does it know we were saying anything about making slides? We were playing music???????? so creepy I’m kind of scared to be honest with you right now

Have used Reclip several times and it’s really fun, but I do a lot of musical improv and would love to record the last song if it went well. 2min isn’t a lot of time for this use case though, 5min would be perfect.

Reclip is really good because like if like your siblings says I didn’t do that and then like you can literally just pull up the sound of them saying they did. It are really annoying that a lot so yeah also also is a little confusing so when I first got Reclip , I’m like how does it clip? My life could not figure out what to say and like sometimes when like I clip it it like only we clips the last 20 seconds when I want the last two minutes so they could make some improvements

this is really useful and it words really well, but it has some small setbacks. i lose my phone a lot, and siri doesn’t work while using Reclip . normally she. i lose my phone i just say “hey siri” but i can’t anymore when using Reclip . another thing is that it records what sounds go off in your phone, so if you’re watching something and someone says something, you most likely wouldn’t catch what they said. something else that’s not that important but kind of annoying is the captions, because i don’t know how to remove them and they normally don’t catch what’s actually said. other than that Reclip is really useful and i would suggest it if those things don’t bother you.

I absolutely love Reclip! I’ve heard my friends say so many things with this and I absolutely adore it! Now you see I have an IPad for business etc. and a Samsung phone for regular basis. It’s pretty easy to say that I obviously use my phone more than my iPad. So due to this, I have just one request, could you please put Reclip on the Samsung Play Store. I would highly appreciate, for it will help me remember and favor even more memories with my friends. Thank you for your time.😊

this app is a good app. It’s just sometimes it decides to shut off and that’s when I’m having my most interesting conversations and I wanna clip that moment but it just shut off so basically you have to go in every day and turn it back on and sometimes I forget, so that’s a little bit annoying but otherwise it’s really good and I’ve got some good conversations so if you wanna spy on your siblings or your family or even your friends, it’s a good app. I think you should definitely download it.

I find the idea of Reclip so cool, and it sounds like a great time with friends. The one problem i have is how the mic is on at all times. A great setting to add would be a timer that you can turn the mic off, for example every night you go to sleep.

I was a victim of sexual assault, the only proof I have is a recording of him admitting to the crime on call (I said it would be recorded). However I wish I had Reclip because I could have saved that recording and used it as proof. I feel dumb that I didn’t get Reclip before…

I love Reclip but I feel like if it had a feature where it auto clips audios if the user says “save clip” out loud it would be 5 stars, also a feature where you can look back up to 24 hrs of audio

It only records if you have Reclip open. It does drain your battery faster if you have it open but that’s the case for almost any app. And some useful reasons for getting Reclip are recording one time instructions from a professor, teacher, boss or something like that. You can also record funny moments that you wish you had your camera out for too which I think is the main purpose for Reclip. Plus Blackmail😈🙏. Reclip would be great for blackmailing someone.

i recently just built a PC and was able to get an app called geforce experience. it lets me clip things that happened 5 minutes ago, i’ve been using that for about 3 months now and i felt like i couldn’t live without it. im so glad i found a version like it for my phone! 💜

although a feature request i would love to see implemented is for longer recording times too go back a little bit further. like to choose how far back the clips go.

Otherwise thank you creators of this amazing app

I love Reclip. Not only does it help me keep memories close to my heart without ruining the moment with a camera but it has helped me gather proof when people are rude to me or somebody I care about around me. The way I see it my phone is always listening anyways, why not use it to my advantage. If anything I wish I could turn it on and off in Reclip instead of having to keep Reclip open because I've missed some moments. (On the other hand missing them also made me hold the memories closer because it makes me appreciate time and how fleeting those little moments are do we have to cherish them) [Sorry this got a little philosophical]

this is a great app and can be used in important situations. some users dont like the fact that its always listening to you especially when you sleep. just swipe out of the tab when you dont need it, the click on Reclip again when you do.
also, for Reclip developers i would suggest adding custom or preset timings (5, 10, 30, or 60 minutes) of saved audio

App works great, but could you guys add a feature where you could toggle it between capturing videos and audio or just audio. The reason I downloaded Reclip is because I was sitting on my couch using my phone and something funny happened right in front of me. So I downloaded this in case something like that happened again (and it just did) and then when I tried it I found out that this app only captures audio. I would be really grateful if you guys added this feature and I’m sure many others would be too. Please consider my request, and thank you!

So far I’ve been using Reclip for about three days or so and I absolutely love it.
Reclip uses no battery life in the background, just feeds off of the listening your phone is already doing (yes lol)
It records so well and gives you captions for the words it understands (you can add you own for the ones it doesn’t)

Reclip is such an amazing feature to add to your phone, it records at S tier and is absolutely worth every second you put into it (NO PENNIES!! ITS FREE WITH ZERO ADS!!!)

I got Reclip , and did all the stuff it wanted me to. I enabled notifications etc. But I didn’t want to invite any friends as it’s a little weird. So I went to the review page and saw other people were complaining about it too. After about 5 minutes however, I got a notification saying “don’t worry, we unlocked Reclip .” Yes I find it weird how it’s a requirement but overall, it’s a really useful app and I still might invite someone.

It captures everything and even has subtitles, on top of that it has an AI to make a title so you can easily access the right clips if you have many, this can help in situations where you blank out when someone was talking or in situations where you are being blackmailed for example, 10/10 app in my opinion. Uses minimal battery.

Reclip really good to use and like arguments like if you know you’re about to go to school or something you know you’re gonna be like arguing with someone or like you’re about to go in an argument with a friend like you see someone you know it’s just gonna get on your nerve today or like you have a funny conversation with someone you always can just like go back like you can be like they are saying something and it’s really nice to have like that good proof of someone saying something and you have like the proof look funny conversation or you have a sibling and you can be like, but you said it’s just great to have running and like when you’re going into school and the teachers like OK better have taken notes. Well if it was a two minute lecture about something you could’ve clipped it and then you have the two lectures it’s two minute lecture it’s perfect this app is just great to have and it’s a really good app.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Reclip is literally my life savior everything that I wish I could had wish that I would have recorded weather for moment that I didn’t expect and even funny moments that I wished I would have recorded literally now I don’t even worry about that I just enjoy my time and whenever something happens and I want to save it I just get on Reclip and it will show me the voice recording of what happen 2 minutes before I got in Reclip !! But have in mind you have to keep that app open for it to work don’t slide up to close just close it and leave Reclip open you can even use it while doing other things on the phone.!! I love it def recommend

Reclip really is something amazing because it does what it's supposed to for free!!! Yep, there are no payments and no ads and I'm loving it! I already caught some weird stuff my little brother was saying and I repeat it to annoy him 😂 One big note thought, I thought it could record a call’s voices but it can't if it could then it would be ten times more amazing, the reason I thought this is because when I heard the ad I thought it could record anything but I wasn't paying much attention to it and then I just thought that. Another thing is that when you try to talk to a real worker of the company, the first couple of times it’s an AI but then after somewhat two tries and then you’ll get a real person.

Overall, one of the best apps I own! The creators really have a ton of talent!

Bro it's actually so good. You don't even need to use Reclip constantly to record stuff. It just does it for you. Every time when I'm just out with my friends and something funny happens, I just open my phone, go to Reclip take a picture, and I am done. 15sec process. I'm telling you, if you don't have Reclip, you're missing out.

I think Reclip is really good because just in case your friends or you say something funny and you just wanna record it, you just tap it and then swipe the tab up and then it goes in the background of your phone so they could hear everything that you say or Reclip that you want if there’s a sound is a really good app I recommend it.

Reclip works perfectly and somehow has pretty good audio if in your pocket. It works great for school. I leave it on my desk under a book and it records a bunch of funny things. I love it. There some slight bugs where Reclip will shut off even if not closed but that happens once a week so nothing to be worried about and it’s a 5 second fix. You just reload Reclip . Overall it’s a great app and super reliable. 5 stars.

this app is probably one of the most useful apps I have. I’ve been able to catch so many fun moments with my siblings and family whenever something unexpected happened. We always share our clips with each other and laugh about it. It’s helped us bond over moments. Being a part of a big family we miss capturing most of our moments together but this app makes it possible to save and share these moments with each other. The range of 2 minutes it’s just enough to capture moments and it’s amazing and it’s been so helpful. I’m so glad that I downloaded this and it was definitely worth it. I wasn’t expecting it to play such a big part in me and my family’s lives. Even if you delete your account it saves all your clips. (probably only if you have an account)
One thing I like is how it automatically generates captions as best as it can and you can go in and edit it if there’s missing parts or if it’s incorrect words. My siblings and I keep clipping these funny moments and it’s great to have a chance to save the past. It’s basically instant replay but only the audio.
You can add friends and family who you have saved in your contacts and send the clips to them with ease.
I really enjoy using Reclip and I’m sure others will/do too. I highly recommend downloading it and no I’m not only saying it because this app asked me to, I really do love Reclip!! I think others should be able to try it to, it’s really a life changer!

I recommend getting Reclip. My mom always complained about me(her son) saying funny stuff and regretting not recording it but Reclip fixed everything about that problem. They have cool challenges on who can send the best clip and i just got paid $150 with one of my winning clips! 5 stars for sure

Reclip has helped me save so many great memories and help prove my points with evidence. Like your ELA teachers will always say more evidence is better than less ( they never say that ) anyways I hope you include Reclip in your life and try it out for a while before considering deleting it :D.
