I have an eight year old ceiling fan that came with two small E12 lamb bulbs that the on/off mechanism in the fan was long broken. I purchased these bulbs, installed them, they worked and now they are connected with Alexa and they work wonderfully and I don’t need to purchase a new ceiling fan any time soon.

I really recommend getting these light bulbs and app they are really cool but LeproLampUX is kinda hard to navigate. When setting up a scene you can’t make 1 light bulb a certain color and the others be different colors so it’s a multicolor scene also I love that when changing the colors it’s a smooth transition the only thing I wish is that it would be a smooth transition when turning on and off. If these features were to be added LeproLampUX and light bulbs would be perfect.

If you follow the instructions in LeproLampUX, you’ll never be able to set up your light or bulbs.

There are videos on line that teach you how to do it but the process flow in LeproLampUX and the video in LeproLampUX won’t let you add anything.

Watch the video all the way through and especially the second half if you ever want to set up your lights. There is a part two LeproLampUX doesn’t show you or walk you through.

I wasted quite a bit of time finding this out. I have no idea why this company would put out an app that stops you from adding lights to your WiFi.

Also, LeproLampUX works once you finish setting up the lights and it integrates well with Alexa.

But whew LeproLampUX literally stops you from being able to set up your lights.

Doesn't allow for connection to Alexa for unknown reason and can't control all lights at once. Making a scene is extremely tedious without being able to input numbers; the lights are always one shade off from each other, or one is just a little too bright. Connection to other devices and connecting the lights themselves takes forever if it ever happens. The lights also completely disconnect when switch is turned off. All around terrible user experience for the same price as other well-made lights.

Some parts are a little complicated when pairing but as soon as you get it it’s very easy and simple. Works great, never had any errors or bugs myself.

Lightbulbs are great. LeproLampUX itself is not user friendly or intuitive. It makes creating preset scenes and switching between them very difficult! There are also a limited number of scenes that can be made. Like ??? Plus, you have to manually click on the scene you want so if you set a timer and had a different scene on previously, it will not switch to the other automatically. Needs so much improvement.

Me and my partner who live in different places can turn each other’s lights on and off and it’s cute honestly it has always worked 💯and we haven’t had any problems with it!

Runs good but it would be better if you could make custom presets to change the lighting to. It would also be MUCH better if you could control more than one bulb at a time when changing the color and brightness on your phone. A very basic component that without, makes it way less user friendly.

LeproLampUX requires an account, which is unnecessary to begin with. It also makes numerous attempts to harvest personal information, including the user’s *location* and intentionally makes the process more difficult if you don’t allow it.

Full of privacy issues and security holes. Publisher doesn’t even list a privacy policy under the required link. Scrap LeproLampUX and whatever garbage hardware you bought that requires it.

I really like LeproLampUX but I would really like it if I could change the lights to be a darker blue or a lighter blue or a darker or lighter red when it changes colors. If this could happen it would be great.

. I got this for my kid and we set it up in her room I and my whole family, friends and more will be rating this HORRIBLY and telling others NEVER to use it. It is the worst app I've ever come across, we set it up about 100 times spending more than a HOUR TRYING TO SET IT UP. every time it came to a screen saying reconnect or whatever. I will be using a different product and sending this back right away. Dont lissen to the good comments LeproLampUX is HORRIBLE NEVER GET IT!! EVEVEEERRR

I have a lot of smart devices and on occasion have had to deal with linking issues but they resolve themselves in a timely manner. This lamp powers on, thus the one star, but will not connect to Alexa. I have the correct skill enabled and I have a 2.4g network but the lamp will not link. Returning the device because I have spent well over 90 minutes trying to get Alexa to connect. Would not recommend this device.

I found the overall experience to be c-. Can I return it ; your other customers will get value. Otherwise it’s a terrible addition to glut of disposed tech. LeproLampUX is difficult to use; the color model impractical and not of use for our professional kitchen cooking demo. You’d think I could configure a group of bulbs together and explore the experience of color, intensity etc. but no I get gimmick and I apologize if that sounds offensive.

The music will only sync to one light strip, which is annoying. Other then that they are pretty ok. Not very user friendly.

The not sure if LeproLampUX is messing up or the light bulbs are be either way the bulbs refuse to connect to wifi and it’s extremely annoying. I also sometimes notice that lights will randomly be offline and don’t reconnect

What is the point of a room feature if you can't control everything together? Why do I need to set up rules just to control all lights together?

Also please make the lights fade out when turning them off

Got it to work again finally. Have to agree thou with other reviews. App is not friendly useable. Connects sometimes, other times not.

I like it, but there’s certain things that are annoying like for instance LeproLampUX crashes sometimes, and you can’t inSync the music if your not off LeproLampUX which is a bit annoying because you might want to be on a different app to listen to music

I tried connecting it as it said but my lights wouldn’t even flash like it said. I tried both modes and could not figure it out. Also, the instructions weren’t clear and my lights wouldn’t come on for a couple hours... wouldn’t recommend

So first of all it would not connect to my led light strips but after a while i just accepted that fact but after like 2 weeks of having them both of the remotes stoped working for it and they wont turn off or change color to turn it off i have to unplug them and i spent over 40 dollars on them this is a complete waist of money.

Colors are vibrant and it’s super fun to change the colors Easy to set up zones love the scheduling feature too.

Overall a good app. When trying to set the light lefttime there’s no way to chose 5 seconds or similar. The slider is too difficult to handle. I’d recommend replacing with a type-in or similar

I have very little issues with LeproLampUX . Mostly works perfectly. I am very satisfied with its function.

It works great but I wanna make more scenes instead of the 3 defaults ones

What a waste of time and $ - never again. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting suggestions - the lights do not connect to LeproLampUX no matter what I try, as many others have pointed out. Hopefully you have an old version of iOS if you want to make these lights work - how stupid is that?

I bought the lepro led strip lights but when i try to reset the lights like it’s telling me to do I can’t find the button that it says to press for five seconds on the lights. Please either give more instructions to where this button is

I just installed the lights and set them up. But now they are not working properly. I can’t change the settings and they are now flashing red blue and green. Nothing I do changes this. I am not buying these again and I would advise anyone else to purchase something else.

Easy to set up and work well. Definitely recommend it.
