ProscenicHome works reasonably well for me as a way to start and stop the vacuum. The mapping feature doesn’t work at all for a few different reasons. First, the vacuum’s sense of location is very poor, sometimes it thinks it is making progress across a room when in fact it’s cleaning the same strip over and over. It even thinks a straight wall has huge holes in it leading to long skinny hallways. And lastly, ProscenicHome doesn’t remember any of the mapping it did in previous runs, sometimes even during a single run the map is erased or jumbled.

As many other reviewers highlighted, there are so many issues with ProscenicHome that it’s impossible to use all features of expensive vacuum. It needs full redesign. For reference, check mobile app of 360 robot vacuum.

On top, there is no support presence for US customers. No one responds to email and chat messages on website. This makes it difficult to keep this expensive vacuum if you feel you won’t be able to claim warranty if hardware breaks

Robot companies need to realize mobile app has the same weight age and value as the hardware. People buy products for both features and ease of use

ProscenicHome needs some serious updating. While using ProscenicHome , it lags or crashes while using. The functions for the M7 are limited. You can’t choose room zone cleaning easily and cannot do so while in use either. The room zone cleaning boxes cannot be resized either, it’s just a basic box that you choose where to place which would be better if you can adjust the size. ProscenicHome doesn’t have a lot of features and can be confusing how to use. Please hire someone that can fix ProscenicHome considering how much we paid for your products.

Tonight my M7 Pro was charging on its base when, all of a sudden, a voice says “welcome to your vacuum” or something like that. As if it just randomly reset itself. I opened up ProscenicHome on my iPhone and the vacuum is no longer listed there. Looks like I have to pair everything again, but ProscenicHome and vacuum are not working in sync. I can connect to the M7 Pro via WiFi to our in my WiFi network credentials, but it just spins until hitting 100% and then error-ing our. Odd since the vacuum will say it’s connected to my WiFi network. Overall, not pleased with my purchase anymore.

Developers please read! Some really simple changes could really make ProscenicHome shine. You’ve crushed all the vacuum feature buttons into the bottom 10% of the screen. WHY!?!? Make these buttons bigger (take up the whole screen!) and then put the mapping on a separate tab within ProscenicHome . As for the map, make it look better and more easy to zoom and navigate. Also for some reason the map doesn’t show the entire path of travel. Fix that! These simple fixes would make ProscenicHome much better.

The vacuum works great but ProscenicHome could be a lot better. There’s no real instructions or any help on how to use the different options in ProscenicHome for the vacuum. I contacted support for help and was told there is nothing to explain each option. Unfortunately, I’m returning the vacuum and going with a different brand all because of ProscenicHome .

Some features work ok, like the scheduling, self dumping, and home finding. But ProscenicHome itself needs serious improvement. The M7 forgets restricted areas and the house layout randomly and often quickly after learning them. I have not gone more than a week without having to reset them, even though it remembers other settings. It needs to remember all the settings I have it set to otherwise it gets stuck on things it should be restricted from every single time it launches, getting nothing done.

There’s a lot of bad reviews on ProscenicHome, I’m not sure if it’s for other products, but at least for the humidifier it’s good.... I can choose between all the settings on the unit itself in ProscenicHome . It connected to my WiFi just fine. I hit the button the machine responds. It’s a simple layout, easy to understand, and it appears to work good enough for me. I like it.

What sets a robot vacuum company apart from the rest is their software. This company has crossed the threshold of technology density. It has all the hardware it needs to be awesome. What it needs to set it apart from the competition is better software. Stop wasting time with cooking and recipes. Focus on software features your customers want. Your competition is doing it and that’s why they are taking more of the market share. If the next few app updates don’t make big improvements I am going to seriously reconsider owning this robot.

Setting up the WiFi for the A8 Air Purifier is NOT intuitive as they claim. I am tech-savvy but this thing is just that bad. Why is it not simple Bluetooth connectivity, why does it need to be an insecure access point? And I’d it is supposed to be so intuitive why does it only want 4G connectivity? I am considering a return of this unit and submitting a bad review on all platforms. That is how upset this thing made me. I will try their “so called” great support to see why this is so difficult to set up. Just BAD!!!

The software is a pain to get the initial connection established. Might require configuration of WiFi router and MAC address manipulation. Took me 3 attempts to finally connect, moving the M7 closer to the WiFi router actually helped. And turning off other devices stealing bandwidth helped during initial connection also.

Once it’s connected, ProscenicHome and vacuum work well. Smartest vacuum we’ve owned, and we’ve owned a few of the more popular name brands.

While I appreciate the LIDAR feature and saving of maps, I am extremely disappointed at the lack of room creation. Don’t even think of using the mopping feature as it will only leave streak marks across the floor even after pre-wetting the mopping attachment and setting the water flow control to high. On a positive note, it’s a decent vacuum.

I don’t lose hope that they keep improving the obvious shortcomings of ProscenicHome , room division , room selection and map saving .

The product is great and it’s worth the dealing with ProscenicHome , but ProscenicHome is a long way from being ideal

I purchased two of the humidifiers and use ProscenicHome with both of them. I’ve had no issues and everything works great. The quality of the products is too-notch and ProscenicHome works great with it.

I followed the directions, including the ubiquitous 2.4 gHz connection for the robot, and placed the robot less than a foot away from the router. I couldn’t get the robot connected to wifi no matter how many times I tried. There’s a disconnect somewhere, whether it’s ProscenicHome or robot itself but because it won’t connect properly I’m unable to get the full use of the robot’s features.

Is there plan to update ProscenicHome ? It’s buggy and some features sporadically work. I see that multiple maps or zoning is supported but can’t find these features in ProscenicHome . Otherwise, when the robot works, it appears to do a great job compared to the previous Roomba and Samsung robots I’ve used. Virtual walls works great but tricky to set-up. An updated app would make this robot vacuum a clear winner at this price point.

Rating is for app

Maps are constantly wiped out as are the virtual walls. That’s honestly been my biggest gripe so far. Without the virtual walls the vacuum will get stuck and it’s basically useless as it then loses all its battery and fails to clean.

The map itself could be a bit smoother in performance and the virtual walls easier to resize. Add dots at the edges of the virtual wall to make it more customizable (just a suggestion).

I have a number of issue with ProscenicHome .
1) over intrusive nature of why it wants access to my files and photos (which I refused to grant)
2) the complicated setup which doesn’t appear to work with highly secure WiFi.
3) The way the layout does not fit the screen.

It has clearly been designed, tested abs built by someone who either lacks time or the experiance to build something which is customer friendly.

It is a prototype and needs a dedicated team to get it working correctly.

While the device (M7) works pretty well, the one star for the software is a gift! More often than not, the software cannot connect to the device. As far as the M7 goes, if it gets stuck somewhere, and you move it to free it, the M7 says it is not level, when it is! You have to turn the device off and back on again! This level problem appears to be another software problem in the M7.

Very poor app, lost map once and zones 3 times in 30 days. Very frustrating having to add 5 zones every few days. Customer service non existent, phone number disconnected, slow response to emails that only request more info from you but don’t provide solutions. Vacuum had so much potential and worked well but useless without a functional app.

Can’t do multizone cleaning properly. When creating > 2 zones the new zone gets renamed and bound to the previous zones

So functionally speaking, ProscenicHome only works with at most 2 zones.

Half the time the map doesn’t show up and you have to hope it shows up eventually.

When trying to connect the humidifier all steps work Ok until it starts to communicate and initialize the device. It crashes every time it hits 14% on the progress indicator. Can’t use ProscenicHome at all. I bought the unit because I wanted to use it with Siri or Alexa

ProscenicHome works however it should allow you to control all of the functions (Alexa and Google support them), but ProscenicHome only has some functions.

ProscenicHome does work as designed.

I’ve got the T21 model, and it used to connect. Since the last app update, it no longer does. Poor quality control perhaps. The device is connected to the wifi just fine, I can see it connect when the device is plugged in from my APs status.

I wish I could give zero stars. I paired my toothbrush and Bluetooth is on. Each time I go to use ProscenicHome it says, “Searching for toothbrush turn bluetooth on”, but nothing happens. Thank God I am in my 30 day return period because I am considering returning this garbage.
