It’s pretty unsettling when a company asks for your social security number when you just want to reserve a camping spot...something is just not right about that. I would beware of where your information gets sent.

Would be nice if back up button was available on all pages. Would not let me enter my 14 day discount #. The link just kept taking me to the wrong screen.

I do not remember when I set this account up the other day whether it asked for my soc. Sec. Number or not. First of all, why does the system need that?! I make reservations ALL the time at motels, other states campgrounds, even the few times I have been out of the US, and NOBODY asks for that. Ask me for my DL number, ask me for my KDWPT account number. Not my Soc.! Regardless of that, I tried to comply, but the system won’t let me update it. Can’t finish my reservation because of this really absurd request for my personal information. So, not real happy with the new app.

No settings, can’t delete, says I have duplicate account if I log in on website. What a joke!

When trying to put in our annual camp permit number, could not submit it for our camp discount.

KS State Parks get with the times and have your app store me CC info so I don’t have to keep putting in my info. Freaking annoying!!!

On a side note, when are you going to stop allowing people to live in your state parks? #itstrue

Downloaded it because it’s the official app for finding campsites in state parks. I can’t even get past creating an account. Hit submit ANG CampitKS locks up every time without fail. Looks like I’ll be sticking with third party apps.

Took me at least an hour to figure out and had to figure out at the campsite with crummy internet. Usually camp in Colorado and their state has a much easier system.

I used to like this web site, now your web site is telling me that my information is wrong. Sooooo, long story short, I have used CampitKS in the past, but I know that Pamona camping is going to suffer from not being able to make reservations.

I’m really trying to like CampitKS. However, I have a camp permit which I purchased for KS State Parks but there is no place to enter the permit number! I’m not going to pay the extra $10 fee per night twice.

I like being able to see possible camping sites on a map and with an actual photo. I like being able to see the “available on which dates” option.

I love the info shared! So awesome to have this option.

I don’t like being asked my social security number in order to rent a primitive camp site in a state park. I don’t like that CampitKS won’t let me past that, even when I DO add my SS# when it asks. I don’t like that it doesn’t ask me to sign up at the start and allows me to get my reserved site all picked out, then doesn’t let me make an account from there.

The info is amazing. The end-usability potential is great. The actual functionality? Not great. Not great at all. I should already have my site picked out, paid for, and moving on with my life. But instead, I’m being asked to contact the call center and ... oh boy. Frustrating.

Let’s get those kinks ironed out and I’ll edit this review.

I love CampitKS just wish there was a way to keep a credit card on file

CampitKS is super easy to use and really convenient. There is only one drawback and that is that it does not save my payment information or I can’t find where to go to save it and I have to re-type that in every time.

Other than that it is a great app.

Only change I would suggest is to have the option to see the maps in a satellite view

Hillsdale is a great place to take the family for a fun time of camping. People are so friendly the sites are very nice, the water is great! We have taken family their to camp twice in the month of July. Great Fun!

I did have to download CampitKS in order to figure out which sites were vacant. The other option would be to drive around all the sites and look at the tags.
But I would recommend downloading CampitKS because you can see the vacancies and you can check in and pay for your site without going back to the self-pay station. I had to create an account and username so be prepared. But once the account is created, it’s easy to use.

kansas is horrible when it comes to camping only state lakes with no first come first serve, and public lands are always closed off. kansas can do better than this they are always way behind other states

CampitKS was incredibly easy to use, especially if you already know what campsite you want in the campground you want.
