by I Don't Feel Like A Customer!

So, after having Apple watch and Parrity a while. I feel both are waste of money for me. Both are not user friendly. Furthermore, what I use the Internet for, would not be of much use on watch...sorry...I just do not think the design of Parrity is the best for this device. Furthermore, I am waiting a web page to load...10 mins have passed, this app is still loading... no it is not my connection.

Installed app on iPhone several times, followed instructions within app but watch complication will not install. First when i hit install within the Watch app to install the complication, it just flat out doesn’t work. On the second attempt it just hourglasses forever and never installs. Factor in the fact that I have never seen an app where you can’t actually reach out to the developer with a problem or question, and you’re lucky I have this one star. I’m sure it works good for a free Web app and complication but I wound up getting more frustrated with the whole process than anything.

Parrity has been working great for me for the few times I needed it however I recently noticed that every time I searched the watch would say loading then show the screen except the actual web browser part is black while the rest of the back, forward, and search buttons still available to use. I have tried reinstalling and even having my phone right next to me. Nothing I have tired would fix this problem..

Before I start this off Parrity is by far the heat browser for Apple Watch. Although, I think the Watch side of things is lacking. Seeing as how when clicking links it is very finicky. I’ve had to be obscenely precise when trying to browse the web watch-side. I don’t know how easily a better system could be implemented however I believe this would improve my rating if it immensely.

Sort of fast, no video option, which I can’t complain about because Apple Watch doesn’t have that feature anyway. Works pretty well, I enjoy it and it can help from time to time

Honestly I was pretty surprised how well this worked. Expected to be a dud. Wouldn’t put any personal info into Parrity But this is pretty neat. Don’t see anyone really using it for anything but still pretty cool thumbs up man.

Parrity itself is great, but I met some issues while using it:
1) No redirect on Watch
When I try to tap on a link Parrity alerts that it can’t redirect. Maybe instead of that alert you should show the URL user is going to and ask for confirmation?
2) Bad error handling on phone
Parrity can’t work normally on phone. For example, you can’t refresh page. If you try to press that button, Parrity simply crashes
3) Add a zoom feature on Watch
Sometimes it’s hard to see little details of page, and there’s no way you can control zooming in

If you fix these 3 problems, Parrity would be more comfortable and popular

I’ve used my finger for selecting things on my watch many times. No need to confirm that I want to click on something. If I don’t click the correct item then that’s my fault. And click that redirect button for me. Otherwise it’s truly better than other browsers on the watch.

This is a cool thing to have on your wrist. Only a couple of improvements might be of benefit to some users:

For those without microscopes for eyes - an option to zoom in/out on pages would be appreciated. I can’t find any mention of this on GitHub site nor on Parrity . If this feature exists and I’m missing it then my apologies.

An option to ignore all redirects would be convenient. Nearly every page brings this up and it gets a little tiresome.

Similarly for the resnap messages - most pages bring this up too, please allow resnaps without asking.

Thank you for your hard work, it’s a cool app to have!

I really do like that this works on apple watch. it’s also just a pretty good browser in and of itself. still, it is a bit slow. also i believe it would be better if Parrity wouldn’t ask if i wanted to redirect, instead, it would just do it on its own.

First things first, thank you for creating a browser for Apple Watch. I searched up everything from google to bing (ugh I know right? Desperate) and I couldn’t find one, until I reached yours. Your browser works magnificently, and I really like the addition of being able to add in the guff of the urls, which is hard to do on Apple Watch (www., .com, etc.) Really, my only complaint is that I stumbled around quite blindly trying to use it, pressing buttons like a madman trying to reach the right menus. Before writing this review, I was thinking “there’s no way to close tabs/pages or clear history” and then 10 minutes later I found it. Other than that any other problems don’t come from Parrity but the webpages themselves, so solid job 👍. The slightly longer load times do irk me slightly but that might just be my garbage internet combined with the limited processing power of a watch.

Terrible it never connects with my Apple Watch and it’s so laggy. Just a copy of google but a different name! Even uses google as its search engine for itself!

Parrity would be nice if you just made the whole watch face a safari WebKit you are and then the back show up

The iPhone app won’t open and just crashes every time. Please fix this issue
Update: Thanks for responding so quickly! I’m using an iPhone 8 with iOS 13.4 It still doesn’t work for me.

I haven’t used Parrity long, but it’s nice to have a handy search engine on me when my phone is somewhere else. Plus I enjoyed Eric’s terms of service agreement. I promise not to use Parrity while driving, operating heavy machinery, or performing surgery.

I first had a problem with getting it on my watch, so I deleted it and downloaded it again this time it worked. But now when I tap anywhere most of the time it gives me this message "some snaps wont redirect resnap after if needed" is there a soultion to the resnap thing?

I have tried at least four other apps andn the best of them lols pretty poorly compared to this one. I had a couple moments of trying to figure out how to do things but it is well done. Thank you. (I couldn’t find anywhere else to say the following but the one thing I would like to see is ability to make a favorites/bookmarks list on the phone to be sent over to the watch. Thanks again)

Parrity works great for what it was created for. Many times I had found myself wanting to look up simple things but didn’t have my phone just my watch until now! I mean you would want to do research for a paper on Parrity. But for looking up things like the capital of Alaska or how many days is it until Christmas from your watch Parrity is perfect! I’m so glad it was created!

Neither the search engine nor direct browsing works on my watch. All it shows after loading is a white screen :-( Using Watch 4 with latest iOS as of Feb 2019.

Every time I get a pop up saying the pixel size changed or it needs to reloaded or cached. I’d rather use WatchOS 6.0 in Siri to browse pages. That’s like literally fast and responsive mobile Safari. This is just junk.

Doesn’t let me press any redirecting link just gives me another screen, where I can tap in the safari browser. On Apple Watch to open safari all you have to do is send the link to your self and open it

I’ve tried connecting to different WiFi and I’ve tried re-downloading Parrity but nothing seems to work on my phone or watch. And sadly their are no other apps where I can search for websites so this was my last try and it was a BIG disappointment.

Doesn’t seem to work. I cannot get it to load onto my watch (or I’m just not finding it) I keep getting an error message that I need to make sure my watch is turned on and my app is open on my watch as well as my phone. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Love the browser, beats opening up a text/web link to browse.
The only thing that could make it better is cellular support so the phone can be left at home.
