Canopy parent app is very slow on iPhone and often crashed. Any changes made take nearly a day to update on kids devices. Often wont allow access to educational applications so have to go through very cumbersome process to allow each app. Customer service is non existent, if you are very lucky you might get a email response but unlikely, thinking of removing and cancelling the subscription entirely.
Wifi at public places (gym, restaurant) won't load pages. Works fine when I use carrier data. Worked fine before Canopy
Canopy app makes my Kindle (8th gen) screen randomly turn off. Kindle works normally when I "pause protection ". We also cannot use it on our desktop without major slowdown.
Canopy is closing out apps operating in the background on the child's device. Example: listening to Spotify music, and after the phone sleeps the music stops shortly after. Getting a notification "Background Data is restricted. Please permit Canopy to send data in the background in device settings." I do not see where to do that. Canopy has all permissions. Device is a Samsung galaxy S10e.
