this app was my favorite until card buyers ripped me off and I lost about $750.
When you send them new cards, they redeem it first and second you a screenshot of the second attempt to redeem the same card they already used themselves. Now they get back to you and say the card was a used card before you sent them. I have been a victim may times already.
Just before I write this review, I received two cards from a trusted supplier, I tried to trade both cards but after sending the first one and the buyer claimed it was an already used card, I decided to try the second one by myself and it worked for me. I would have lost both cards again.
Team this app, we need some help to resolve this issues. My close friends were victims too. We are now deciding to look somewhere else than this app if nothing is done quick.

Please don’t use Paxful to trade any of your card or coins it’s a full of scammers and the stupid moderator will still award the coins to the scammer so they are working together with no proof from the buyer Paxful isn’t safe for you sell gift cards or bitcoins run for your life Paxful is scam don’t use it Paxful is scam don’t use it I just got rip of 2 thousand dollars now so don’t use this app listen to this now and be safe this app is a scam app never use it all the vendors there will just scam you don’t use it I hate all of you i will make sure I safe all this innocent Sellers just tryin to trade there card so never use this app to trade it’s scam if I have any steam wallet they will rip me even If it is as low as $10 Paxful isn’t safe for we sellers it only favor the buyers which is frustrating I have nothing good to say about Paxful over 2000 dollars yesterday gone on this stupid website if you’re looking for a secure place to buy and sell crypto don’t use this app they are all ripped with the moderators and everyone they are all scam

Honestly, it doesn’t make any sense why you would purchase crypto on Paxful or website. A great example of why is, the best offer I could see for Bitcoin at one point was btc for $.81 on the dollar.... additionally, due to the person to person setup, sales are way slower than traditional trades and there’s way more hoops and annoying verification to go through.

Also, the sellers also don’t respect your time. To highlight this, I had one seller with such slow response times our trade actually timed out (which happens automatically after 30 minutes). This seller even had me provide verification in two sources and trade was soooo slow I actually decided to just not finish the trade. Poor service doesn’t deserve my money no matter how small.

If you were going to purchase crypto currency it would make more sense to purchase through Kraken, Coinbase, Coinbase Pro, Binance, or even BlockFi. All these options will have instant trades, only require 1 verification and have options that provide you interest on your crypto.

Overall this app is just the most unoptimized experience and weakest crypto app I’ve used to date. This is my first app review for ANY app btw

Please whoever wants to download Paxful to trade gift cards read this!!!
this app is not a safe place to trade your gift cards, I have been using Paxful for quite awhile and I have lost close to $800 plus worth of cards... The gift cards buyers know that most of us from Africa gets this cards from our love ones abroad and so we can’t provide enough proof during dispute... The Moderators are even worst when it comes to helping issues... dumb set of unprofessional criminals without a soul... They tell you to provide proofs even the gift cards companies can’t give to you.... I just lost a dispute for steam wallet gift card which my sister just got and sent to me with receipt showing the time and date ... I traded it in this app less that 2 minutes after getting the card and this arrogant criminal of a vendor AdonicMongoose246 used my card and told me I gave him a used card... I feel like crying right now because I just can’t believe humans are this heartless and this app still went ahead to award bitcoins to him.... This criminals win dispute all the time and it’s not fair... trade ID

Other than trading gift cards on here, this app has been great. Verifying if a gift card was used by buyer or seller is impossible because the gift card companies refuse to provide info about redemption. I once got a couple of gift cards and decided to trade them for bitcoin. First trade went through and i switched vendors intentionally to one with very high positive feedback. It was no surprise the second vendor claimed the second card was used as usual. I decided to personally redeem the third card in my own account which went on successfully.
Since then i stopped trading gift cards on this app because opening a dispute is a waste of time. Only the buyers are asked for proof. If not provided, the dispute is automatically awarded to the vendor. Until this app finds a way out of this then trading gift cards on here is a total scam. Other than that ,the platform is great. Will rate 5 stars when gift card issues are resolved.

My account got put on hold for 3 months and I lost almost one thousand dollars due to a SCAMMER. They will send a fake this app link and tell you to sign into your account and then take over your whole account. I was smart enough to not fall for this but unfortunately other people are not aware and are new to Paxful . Anyways the person was running two profiles and started two trades with the amount of one profile being a 480$ and the other one being 490$. On one of the accounts he said he only had 480$ to send me and the trade was for 490$ so I just told him to send the 480$ BEING NICE. & he marked it as PAID and I released his Bitcoin. So the SAME PERSON on a different account said he sent me 480$ and had proof to show the moderator that he sent me the money. & I had no proof to show at all so he won the case and I lost 480$ + the 490$ & got my account on hold FOR 3 months ! I like Paxful but you just have to be smart with these scammers ! & do not accept money that isn’t the EXACT amount of the trade because they will take advantage of you !

this app is a wonderful app to use but just the buyer who are aware we are from Africa getting gift cards from our loved ones sometimes I have to send money to abroad to get me a gift card to buy Bitcoin the sad part is you trading your own money for Bitcoin then some heartless criminals calling them selfs buyers will rip you off knowing you don’t have enough prove to show you’re owner of the card then about the moderators I prefer they should be active in every trade cause we are losing a lot to cope with the problem on there I really love Paxful totally but please and please have a strong inside view of what is going on and help us out.. Enough is enough already we are have lost a lot.. this app needs to fix some problems cause it’s getting crazy out there and most you will see some buyers with mind blowing rates please don’t fall for them their all scammers

I’m glad to be part of this platform but the is a serious problem with administrators. They give much privileges to sellers more that buyers and that has given much advantage to sellers to scam buyers especially (paysafe card) administration don’t take in to consideration about paysafe card condition. When a seller said pin is blocked even if it’s not blocked it is already an advantage to him and the administration will just consider it . And please take note (buyers) when a seller is insisting that you should cancel and he is the first to block you just wait for the administration even though he will be favored,
NB:- Conclusion : Administrator take in to consideration both parties before take decisions many sellers will say the pin is lock main while it is not locked the seller is just fooling the buyer to cancel the trade. I’m a victim in this trade ID

this app is a great App, I can recommend to anyone.(YES) I have been using for the past three years. There’s ups and downs on Paxful that’s for sure, but when you abide by their rules and don’t be too greedy to fall for lucrative offer from the bad ones. I have also lost lots $ through buyers, lost dispute and almost got my account suspended because the moderator issued warning to my email thinking I tried to rip wish it wasn’t so. I feel disgusting and embarrassed and that almost stopped me from using Paxful . But I tried to adjust a little and tried to be more careful of the buyers with screen recordings of every transactions initiated. One thing I demand from the this app Authors or teams. I want an equal right and thoroughly investigation of every dispute in respective of wherever you’re trading from.

After a long long wait it’s finally here and I must say, I am impressed with the good work. This made my whole week already. Paxful is amazing and easy to use compared to the website. But a few more suggestions like the chat interface should look more native, sending out from wallet to an external wallet should not automatically adjust the sending amount of balance is too low instead alert the user that there’s insufficient balance to send the typed amount and an option to let the user adjust or cancel the transfer just like a regular bitcoin wallet. If I can get that then I can use this app app as my primary bitcoin wallet. Now I’m not afraid of clicking on a phishing link I just pick up my phone and open Paxful . Thumbs up guys . Dark interface Or Nigth mode would be better too 😉.

this app is an amazing platform for anything that has to do with bitcoin. I’ve been using it for years There’s no other website I’ll rather use and now that the mobile app is available, the efficiency will increase and it will be easier to use. One thing You should really work on to make this app second to none is find a more effective way to solve disputes. Anytime there’s a dispute, the vendors always win no matter proof or anything the buyer provides. This gives the vendors an edge to cheat and rip people a lot. I’ve lost a lot of money to this vendors. I only still stay around because it happens everywhere but you can make yours different and find a subtle way to solve this

Slow response from Admin, the site is perfect but the only problem is that it takes too long for moderator to respond to problem encountered during trading. Apart from that, the site is very recommended for any buyer or trader of bitcoin. I was almost hack by a buyer of bitcoin 3 days ago with a phishing website that look exactly like that of this app, I was smart enough not to follow his instructions to trade outside this app following his link before he can make payment. This dude held my bitcoin on escrow for 72hrs and also threatened to start a dispute after the 72hrs. I reported the trade and the support team helped me out. His account was suspended by the admin. Thanks this app team. 👍

I have never review apps before lol but I made an exception. I don’t know probably because I have been waiting for them to release Paxful or because the GUI of Paxful is really superb. I am amazed by the beautiful design and It is easy to use. this app is the best and will comes with lots of surprises. If you want to take advantage of every aspect of crypto, Paxful is the best. It’s a multipurpose crypto app where you can buy or sell. So far they are the best I have ever seen. I can say in full confidence that the negative review are due to user error lol regardless, give Paxful a chance! It will never disappoint you. I’m just a user like you and I really love their app

At first, I was curious as to what’s the best and most secure platform for buying BitCoin. So I just ask my friend Mr. Google and some business blogging website listed their 5 Best BitCoin app. And after carefully reading the features and the pros and cons, I finally decided to sign up. I heard of this app over a year ago, I wasn’t really sure of what ‘crypto trading’ was all about at first, I got into crypto and decided to keep and store a couple, I was with one of the other exchangers and they have a clumsy interface and a whole lot of to-dos before one can get to trade a single dollar in crypto, after two weeks of complains and searching for a suitable platform, I came across a blog which listed this app as #1 crypto trading website, that was when I joined and feel in love with their easy and user-friendly interface, I’m yet to see any other their peer-peer escrow trade like theirs. I feel totally safe and comfortable trading with this app, I can trade crypto with almost over a 100 ways and still feel safe.

My first trade was a bad experience do to scammers on Paxful taking advantage of my lack of knowledge of Paxful . I was not aware of the rule of trading in the this app chat. There are scammers on here that want you to trade on WhatsApp or other third party chat services. Don’t do this they want you to do this so you don’t have evidence and they can scam you.

On any application there will be scammers and people that will take advantage of you. But on this app they are actively and currently trying to stop them with multiple measures. I was scammed and it was my fault and not thinking when trading. I worked with the staff at this app and they ended up refunding me the money that was lost and banned the trader that was scamming.

The staff was extremely helpful and understanding

this app is a wonderful app to use when it comes to trading cards and buying and selling of coins. But recently I had an issue with my this app account, I was unable to access my this app account because my account is frozen. I was told details of why my account was frozen had been sent to my email but I couldn’t access the email either. I have chatted with the support service so many time but I have gotten any response. I’m frustrated right now because my life savings is in there and I couldn’t have access to my coin. Now I don’t know what to do to get access back to my account. I can provide any information to prove I’m the owner of the account. Please you have got to help me out on this.

But when it comes to gift cards trading we those using it to buy bitcoins are mostly at lost . The seller of bitcoins will intentionally use your card in one account and trying using it again in another account then it will not work . The seller will then send you a screenshot telling you either your card has been used by someone else or there is no balance on your card . this app really need to work on that . Please I suggest you creat a platform where all gift cards are reviewed by your team to ensure it validity before submitting it to the seller of bitcoins for trading . I hope with this initiative , the rate at which bitcoins Sellers steal gift cards would be minimised if not eliminated. Thank you 🙏.

Hello this app,am writing this review to let you know what happens on the trade page,mostly buyers easily rip gift cards during trade and when I make an attempt to report ,I end up loosing all because the buyers provide fake documents and end up taking my card without releasing my Bitcoin,honestly I gave you this 5 star because everything about this app is perfect except the fact that exchanging a gift card for bitcoins with traders is not safe anymore ,I really hope you can do something about this and also find means and make trading on this app safe again,I have lost more than 1000$ worth of gift cards to rippers and when ever I try to report I get a warning of getting banned which is not fair,please do something about It

Everything was going just fine with Paxful . I usually only use Paxful to purchase bitcoins with gift cards. I was sent a $150 google play gift card, and two $20 steam wallets gift card. I set up a trade with the vendor at good rates. And all three of them claimed all the cards have been used. The cards were purchased at coin dollar and there had been no third parties. I tried trading them immediately they were activated so i was 100% sure they weren’t used. All three vendors refused to release my coins and after filing dispute for over 4days nothing has been done. this app should try to provide buyers more security. It’s heartbreaking to lose money like this.

I have been waiting on this for long and I am glad you got here and it’s my please to say this is a better and brilliant improvement from you and there are more to be worked on due to the ways people get ripped on this this app on every daily basis but if everyone could lose his bitcoin if they get to rip people off on Paxful and site as their penalty, it would help to reduce the high risk of the bad people trying to steal from other people on here and it would make this app a very safe place to trade our bitcoins and not get ripped.. Cannot see to find assistance on this. Paxful will no longer open on my iPad or my iPhone. It seems to be fine on my laptop though...I’ve deleted and downloaded it again... twice. No go. What causes this???

Update: both the iPad and iPhone apps began to work again a couple of days ago. All seems fine now. The only issue I find difficult is your availability for assistance. Thank you.

I give kudos to the this app management for the job well done and am sure that a lot of users will be more than happy for this great innovation of this app mobile app. I’ve been using the website page for the past 2 years and I must say i had a brilliant experience using it and having Paxful now am rest assured that it is going to be excellent. I’ve read about people’s comments and I will implore the this app team to kindly fix any issues so that the mobile app will be customer friendly and both the company and the users will benefit from Paxful. Well today makes me the happiest person knowing there’s an easier way with trading with this this app app than going thru the web. I’ve been using this app for more than a year and never seen any other sites better than it. I’ve lost about $350 going through the site before but I didn’t give up and also at least I have more 20 good trades counting ,no bad records so far. I’ve recommended this app to so many people and I’ve given out my link to so many as well. I will keep doing my part and I wish this app can make me one of the moderator🤭 thanks this app I’m most glad for Paxful you just lunched.

this app has always been a very nice trading platform and easy to navigate through and I’ve been using the platform for a time now and been enjoying it. I did enjoy the first upgrade which was the web one and that was really wonderful but Paxful is a big milestone.
I’ve used Paxful and it’s very user friendly and has lots of things the web doesn’t so kudos guys!
I’m sure if you’re reading this a user like me, you’d wanna install and try it out. You might be good with taking people for their words but take Paxful for a ride and see if you agree with me.

Wow , I didn’t see that coming , I use to have problem navigating the release buttoned without risky to accidentally release due to the website not able to fit the screen on phone properly , I was hoping it will be fixed but I didn’t think it will be sooner , it’s now just as I want it to fit the screen ,Am sure that’s what 90% are pleased with , the website fits the screen soo perfectly now - this app have always been working on improving the website to be user friendly and we really appreciate ,keep the good work

this app is the best with trading with anything you've got... Though they should work on the rippers stuffs... Because Paxfuls moderator always seem to be on the sellers side during disputes that's why the sellers sometimes rip us off our cards... Still I love this app they are the best...also when I saw withdraw to bank... I actually thought I could withdraw to my bank account directly like luno... But I was wrong...im still gonna trade... Well hell no... Do something about it... Let's be able to withdraw directly into our bank account by adding our bank details

Once I received access to the platform, I deposited my initial investment of $25k.
