When trying to open the app, it will prompt you for a new version or to continue with your old version. When you click on update to new version, it will take you App Store and then and after you open the new app from the store, it will take you back to the same page that prompts you for continuing with old app or to update to a new one. This loop continues following no matter what - closing the app, restarting the phone...neither will work, terribly frustrating

Though a well intentioned move with technology, I dont think this is a good idea.
Supposively, you information is stored locally on your phone, but last week I got checked by a State trooper to see my license. I was up in the mountains, no cell reception, and the App so offline mode, then threw an Error message, and would not display my information. Luckily for me, the State Trooper was a nice guy and said they have had nothing but problems with this.
From here out, I will always have a hard copy of my license. You can never go wrong with that.

Frustrating summarizes this app. This will be my second year using it and it has yet to improve. I was in the wilderness this week with not reception and I did what I was supposed to to make sure it was still available. During my hunt I checked my app and it had an error resulting in me shutting it down. As a reminder I have no reception so the prep I did when I had reception was now useless as it’s not available. Out of fear of not being able to tag an animal I had to drive 2 hrs (1 hr each way) just to get reception to get it back to offline mode. I asked for paper tags this year and they said I had to go to the odfw office to do that (really? COVID and they want us in person). The frustrations continue to stack up year after year and if it continues I’ll be spending my money so support out of state wildlife than Oregon.
