I went into the ER around 3:30pm on February 8th, 2022 it was crowded and moving slow in there I was irritated because it was loud a few patients were on their phones and a few patients didn’t have mask on all to find out these patients were only sitting around for what ever their reason was. I was already in pain and still in pain while I the ER waiting area I believe I had a anxiety attack I was finally called to the back and by 6:15 I decided to leave because well first waiting so long and I have kids I needed to get back home too. I was placed on a bed in the hall. I saw my notes and it stated I was placed in room 31 which I was not nothing was done and no one approached after waiting on the bed in the hall after 20min. So personally. So this tan harnett never saw me and no one ever checked my I’d or even offer a gown to put on because I was never placed in a room I was placed in the hall

I have to tell you how easy myPennMedicine has made my life. I love being able to be in touch with my health care team at the touch of my fingertips. It allows me to conveniently ask questions, and alert them to health concerns that come up. I just had a test and was concerned about the results. After a quick email to my doctor they were able to call me an explain the outcome. I felt so much better.

My friend is in a health care system that doesn’t have a portal. I keep telling her to jump on board ours.

myPennMedicine is great overall. Really easy to access my health info, talk to my doctor, and pay bills. My one complaint is that there seems to be no way to actually store your payment info. When you enter your credit card info to pay a bill, there’s a check box for “save payment for later use” but that seems to do nothing. Every time I pay a bill I have to manually type my card info and billing address. And to make it just a little more annoying, the billing address fields don’t use iOS’s built in autocomplete. So please, devs, make bill paying a little easier with actual saved payment methods.

It’s an easy way to access test results/records without having to bother your doctor or their staff. Allows you to add extra information or pictures to a message/question/concern for your physician. Great for clarifying instructions and keeping track of vaccinations and medications. Fantastic tool and easy to use, not a replacement for doctor contact, but nice for keeping your care organized and sharing information.

I have been very pleased with the care which I have received from the Penn Medicine Department of Neurology, through both Dr. Murray Grossman and Dr. Sara Manning. They have each been kind and considerate in caring for me. They are each very knowledgeable on the latest research and approaches to clinical care. I would highly recommend Penn Medicine for any patient seeking the highest level of health care and desiring the very best clinical outcomes.

While myPennMedicine is still evolving, I do like it’s design. It is great to have everything in one place including access to other (non-Penn Medicine) medical apps from one app.
What I do not like is having my prescription refill requests, and questions to the my Doctor intercepted and answered by Nurses. This is mostly the case for Penn Valley Forge. I find this to be frustrating more often than not. As a suggestion, give customers - via myPennMedicine - the opportunity to complete customer satisfaction surveys for non Physician interactions.

It is amazing.
Instantly it reminds you of appointments, pre- check ins plus gives you the at home comfort of filling out questions or reviewing your insurance.
Calmly; at home, I can question my health care team a question or update any of my information.
The health care team is super fast and efficient with returning an answers in myPennMedicine .
For working individuals; this is the best for privacy plus peace of mind answers asap.
Plus: I just look back in myPennMedicine for any instructions that I might have forgotten.
Very secure and easy to use.

Messages sent to Dr. Must not be checked very often, dont know if they get alwrts like i do, i reply right back and dont get a reply for several hours or not even til the next day…. Very frustrating… myPennMedicine is cool to the point where you can request refills and all and to see all your info, but my phone works, if you send me a message i get it right away, or my cell number is right there in my info, a simple quick call u will get me everytime!

My husband was diagnosed with cancer and not only were the staff amazing, having myPennMedicine help keeping us organized from appointments to test results to more appointments etc. it was so helpful, e were even able to see billing as well.

This website/patient portal has everything one needs in accessing their past, present, and future medical needs/records. Appointment checking and notifications have never been easier. You can even send a secure message to your provider directly! Love it!

myPennMedicine has proven to be very helpful in providing information and knowledge quickly and precisely between Dr’s and patients. This is an excellent tool for communication. It also has numerous features such as record keeping, appointments, calendars, reminders, records and many more. Kudos to Penn.

For people uncomfortable with technology it’s user friendly. It’s wonderful knowing contact with our care is right at our finger tips

It would be helpful if the accuracy of the information being offered on myPennMedicine was up to date, particularly when test or screenings are due.
myPennMedicine suggest what test or check up’s may be warranted but, it does not tell you how to schedule these exams or where to get them done I.e. employ health, your private doctor etc. etc.

The new update completely reconfigured the layout to be unnecessarily fancy with swipe animations etc. and not user friendly. The old layout worked great why on earth did you change it?? I’m in my 20s and tech-savvy and it’s more difficult for me to find my information now, I’d hate to see how older people not as used to technology are faring with this new update

I used to find this site really useful but now find it almost useless. I'm no longer able to schedule appointments with my care team. In addition, the new format does not allow me to compare test results from different years as I was able to do in the old one.

I like penn med and myPennMedicine the problem I have with penn med every single time is I pay my co pay with the hsa card for tests and every single time there is no record of my pmt. I have to find my receipts and submit them to clear my account or pay it twice.
This is my only complaint.

Great site user friendly. Drs respond quickly to emails. Tests results are posted immediately

I used myPennMedicine almost every week since it went live. The last few months it has refused to open after I submit my ID and password. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it over a dozen times. What happened? It used to be so reliable

I’ll try it again (maybe) when the developers grow up and offer an app that runs in landscape mode on the iPad. I deleted it instantly upon opening it when my iPad held the display at 90 degrees of my view. Too bad.

The new member sign up page has a captcha. I completed it at least 14 times. I’m good at passing captchas, since I am not a robot. Something is wrong with myPennMedicine, as it just kept loading a new captcha.

The default MyChart app allows us patients to add multiple organizations to the single app, so we can swipe right or left for those health systems username and password screens. With the this app app patients are no longer allowed to have easy access to their other health system MyChart account. Down load the default MyChart app instead.
