SmartElfin doesn’t work at all. First of all the directions are not available in English. No idea how to pair SmartElfin with the remote with the device. Absolutely terrible. Wasted money here.

Very frustrating. App options will not respond. Worthless customer service. This is for the ceiling fan/light. Nice looking unit but again worthless with nothing working on it. I only rated 1 star but would give much less if it was an option.

I just bought a fan with light and was told that it’s a app control device but after many attempts SmartElfin does but work

My 4 outdoor spotlights have a mind of their own. Blinking and changing colors after set. The manual is only available in Chinese. So ridiculous! This company is a bunch of thieves taking peoples money for junk.

SmartElfin will connect to the fan however it will not control anything on the fan. The manual is in Chinese so for me it is no help. SmartElfin needs a huge update for the US market.

Installed everthing per the instructions and everything is functioning as it should. However, SmartElfin is not working or recognizing the device no matter how kany times i try to set it up.

Initially the light worked, now trying to change colors after the season, SmartElfin won’t load and I can’t get the light to change.

I am overly confused by SmartElfin. Under adding product nothing shows. I click on create login in the hope that this fixes the setup process and it shows a blank screen with the terms and conditions and at the bottom has a agree and a disagree button. What am I agreeing to? The Bluetooth section asks me to set the frequency - what??? Either this is a super sophisticated app from the future that mankind is not ready for or it is complete garbage.

I’ve erased and downloaded several times now. Each time I download SmartElfin , I get a different result as to what is available from SmartElfin . Had I known the program is so screwed up, I would never had bought the lights!

Bought 2 ceiling light fans with remote and bluetooth capable. Downloaded SmartElfin according to instructions on small card included in packages. nothing works. App does not link to the product at all. Paid good money for this feature but didn’t get what was promised.

App was working great for over a year until a week ago. Still receive Bluetooth error even after updating app and restarting phone. No other options available and is very inconvenient.

Why on earth is it coming up in Chinese or Japanese . How do you expect to read it and when I try to create an account it says I already have one . I bought these light and I can’t even use them to change the settings it constantly blinks colors . Worst app ever and company . You need a college education to figure this nonsense out

Cannot log into SmartElfin or use SmartElfin to function. The flood lights at all. It keeps kicking me out therefore I cannot use any function to change anything turn on the light it is just continuously flashing both of them. I can’t have that in a residential neighborhood. SmartElfin is garbage and basically it’s making people who buy these floodlights waste money because without SmartElfin , you can’t use the floodlights properly.

First off, SmartElfin asks for a lot of permissions including location, which I don’t see why that’s needed. Second of all, SmartElfin is slow and not terribly intuitive. I hate that you can’t adjust the brightness of the light while it’s in pulsating mode, it’s automatically at full brightness. There’s a lot SmartElfin needs to be improved on.

I got a set of 4 lights for the yard.
I was able to set up 2 of them. The third one is not setting up. And I can’t find any instructions on how to set up all of them together.

SmartElfin needs an update. I can’t get SmartElfin to work at all today.
I know it could be a much better app and product but I still paid kind of a lot and would like this to work.
I’d give it a higher score but frustration rates this a kind 2 stars. Do better and make this a painless experience. Technology should be much better here.

Like another reviewer, I bought two floodlights. I turned on one (plugged it in), set its nickname, and unplugged it. I moved the first, and then repeated with the second.

I took both outside to plug in, and…voila, they worked. I went to change the color of A and both changed. I went to change B, and they both changed.

I simply want two lights with two separate colors.

Just got the landscape spotlights. I downloaded SmartElfin and setup the lights on it. Please please please update/fix SmartElfin to have the brightness adjusted while in pulsating mode. It automatically reverts to full brightness when put in pulsating mode. Then when you go to the brightness tab, it stops pulsating mode. Then back into pulsating tab and it goes straight back to full brightness. This is so irritating, it’s far to bright for my little palm tree. Please fix this issue. Thank you.

I got a single bulb. It would be awesome if the different colors could be lighter or darker, but nice options
